Indie Korean clothing label, BUFOTOX has launched “SONGGWA 03,” its latest capsule range for Fall/Winter 2024. Inspired by psychedelic culture and Bufotoxin – a hallucinogenic poison from toads – the brand prominently incorporates organic patterns into its design, symbolizing the harmony between humans and the natural world.
The collection spotlights two distinct designs, both imbued with BUFOTOX’s signature tribal-like logos and motifs. Boasting a relaxed fit, the Snow Ape Hoodie arrives in a composition combining faux fur and waffle-like fabrics, emulating the appearance of apes in snowy mountains. Available in Khaki and Charcoal colorways, the pockets also utilize hemp cotton and buffalo horn fibers as fabrication.
Meanwhile, the Spider Ape Hoodie comes in a slim-fitting and sporty look. Arriving in Cream and Burgundy, tt features a mask-like hoodie design that can be adjusted to cover most of the face. Crafted from synthetic fabric, the hoodie boasts a subtly sheem that resembles the quality of spider silk.
Check out campaign video below. The “SONGGWA 03” capsule collection is currently available to shop via BUFOTOX’s website with prices ranging from ₩98,000 – ₩178,000 KRW(approx. $68 – $123 USD).
