GEORGIA quarterback Carson Beck has flipped his NFL Draft decision and opted to enter the transfer portal.
Beck was once considered a top quarterback in the draft, but a devastating injury has caused him to reconsider his options.

Beck had a solid season for the Georgia Bulldogs, passing for 3,485 yards with 28 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
His 80.9 QBR was the 8th-best among all quarterbacks in college football.
For most of the season, Beck’s name stood firmly alongside the likes of Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward as potential first-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.
However, Beck’s NFL future changed drastically during the SEC Championship.
Midway through the game, Beck took a hit to his arm that caused a tear to his UCL.
The injury required significant surgery that forced him out of the College Football Playoff. Georgia went on to lose their playoff game without him.
Beck is expected to be able to play in the 2025 season, according to a statement from Georgia Football before he transferred.
“Georgia quarterback Carson Beck underwent successful surgery Monday (Dec. 23) on his right elbow to repair his ulnar collateral ligament (UCL), performed by renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles, Ca,” the statement read.
“A full recovery is expected with throwing to begin spring of 2025.”
Now that he is in the transfer portal, Miami is the favorite to land Beck for the 2025 season.
The Hurricanes are losing their starting quarterback, Cam Ward, to the NFL Draft and will need a replacement.
Beck brings two years of experience as a starting quarterback and could thrive in Miami’s system.
College Football fans think this could be a big move for Miami and shared their thoughts on social media.
“Could be very beneficial for both Miami and Beck to bolster his draft stock,” one fan said.
“That’s a big move for Miami if they can secure Beck,” another fan said.
