I can make $40 an hour with my virtual side hustle – it brings in money every single month thanks to ‘packages’

WANT some extra cash in your back pocket? This woman might have found the perfect side hustle.

You don’t even need to leave the comfort of your home to rake in the cash, you can do it all from your computer.

Aubree shared her savvy side hustle hack on TikTok and people were stunned by how easy it sounds

The best part is you can make money without ever having to leave your house[/caption]

Aubree Malick took to TikTok to explain how she makes money as a virtual assistant – and it’s way easier than you probably think.

Unlike other side hustles, the money-making whizz said becoming a virtual assistant is a good way to reliably bring in money every month.

So, what do you need to know?

According to Aubree, the job is similar to being a personal assistant, only you only work online – sounds easy enough.

“Your job is to help businesses run in the background, to help them with different tasks, all from your computer,” she explained.

There are just three things you need to know if you want to try it out for yourself too.

First up, you need to be able to know what you can actually offer a business.

Whether that’s skills you already have, specialist knowledge or any other talents – businesses will want to know all about you, Aubree said.

Next, you’ll need to know who you want to work for.

Since all different types of businesses need assistants it’s good to know what will and wont work for you.

It could be a building company, a fitness coach or an influencer you work with, for example.

“The last thing you need to know is what you are going to charge,” Aubree continued.

This could vary depending on your experience, but if you’re just starting out you could still make $20 – $40 per hour.

And if you do have a bit more experience under your belt that could go up even more.

Aubree suggested creating “packages of 10, 20, and 30 hours per month to offer that support your clients.”

This way, you can work as much or as little as you like and still get paid for your efforts – what’s not to love?

Many people rushed to the comment section of the video to rave about the savvy side hustle.

One wrote: “I’ve been think about being a virtual assistant, love this.”

“I’m a fellow virtual assistant, it’s 100% the best,” another chimed in.

Other side hustles to try out

Get social

With time and a bit of commitment, you can build up a strong enough following on social media platforms and get paid to promote products and services.

The simplest way to earn money is by partnering with a brand as an Instagram influencer.

They send you products to test out and review in your posts and in exchange they’ll pay you a fee.

You must have a minimum of 1,000 followers to become an influencer and the more followers, the bigger the fee.

You’re followers also need to engage with your posts, as this also affects how much you

Sell, sell, sell

Good for your wallet and for the world, reselling unwanted items such as clothes or children’s toys is increasingly popular.

There are plenty of apps and websites that make it super easy to sell your items online by finding potential buyers for you and handling a lot of the shipping process.

Each platform and app offers something slightly different, so it can be a good idea to try a few out until you find one that works for you.

The biggest and the most established platforms are eBay and Amazon.

Both have massive reach, though Amazon’s Marketplace tends to appeal mostly to small businesses.

Some side hustlers scour thrift shops for cheap items they then sell on for a profit.

Generally speaking, there’s no limit on how much you can earn from reselling but the more expensive and in demand the item, the bigger the profit.

Secondhand designer handbags can go for hundreds and sometimes thousands of pounds.

Side hustles and tax implications

Extra income you make from side hustles may need to be reported to the IRS.

If you receive more than $600 in gross payouts from a selling platform like eBay, the site will issue you a Form 1099-K to use in your tax return.

Individuals should calculate their adjusted gross income, taxable earnings, and deductions for the year.

Once they have that, they can use the 1040-ES form to calculate estimated taxes.

Friends tried to resuscitate the 67-year-old to no avail before rescue teams arrived to find the man already unconscious on the outskirts of the town of Diakopto.

Police, the fire department and an ambulance were quickly brought to the scene to assist.

He was later pronounced dead at the Kalavryta Hospital.

The man has not been identified yet.

The 67-year-old and his friends were hiking through the gorge, hoping to capture shots of NATO fighter jets flying overhead on the last day of drills.

Photographers were invited to attend NATO exercises on October 1 and 8.

Local firefighters posted on Twitter/X this morning but only confirmed that one man had been injured near the local caves.

“An unconscious man was transported from a difficult location in the Kalavryton mega cave area and handed over to the EKAB (emergency teams).

“(They brought) 7 firefighters with 2 vehicles.”

Police are working to establish the cause of death, with initial investigations suggesting he may have been suffering from an illness, per local media.

The body will be transferred to Patra, where an autopsy will be conducted.

Travis Hunter is predicted to go first in the 2025 NFL Draft after starring in Colorado[/caption]

Their only defeat came at the hands of Nebraska, a disappointing 28-10 showing.

They take on Kansas State on Saturday evening, looking to extend their solid 2024-25 NCAA season record.

But Sanders’ long-term future with the college is already on everyone’s minds.

His star quarterback son Shedeur is set to quit at the end of the campaign.

Coach Prime’s other son, Shilo, who plays as a safety, is also set to go.

And superstar corner and wide receiver Travis Hunter will join them.

The trio are set to announce their eligibility to join the 2025 NFL Draft class.

They are expected to be three of the top picks, with Hunter predicted to go first.

This has led to speculation over their head coach, and whether he wants to continue.

The Buffaloes are hoping he does stay, progressing with a new set of players next year.

The NFL legend is only in his second season in Colorado, bringing them national attention.

“We hope Coach Prime finishes his career here,” said the University of Colorado’s athletic director Rick George.

“I think he can do significant things for us long-term with longevity.

“I think Coach would sit here and tell you that he and I are on the same page about where we want this program to go.

Colorado Buffaloes 2024 season schedule

BELOW are the matchups for the Colorado Buffaloes for the 2024 college football season

  • Colorado Buffaloes vs North Dakota State (August 29)
  • Colorado Buffaloes at Nebraska (September 7)
  • Colorado Buffaloes at Colorado State (September 14)

  • Colorado Buffaloes at Arizona (October 19)
  • Colorado Buffaloes vs Cincinnati (October 26)
  • Colorado Buffaloes at Texas Tech (November 9)
  • Colorado Buffaloes vs Utah (November 16)
  • Colorado Buffaloes at Kansas (November 23)
  • Colorado Buffaloes vs Oklahoma State (November 29)

“It’s not a short-term fix and we want to set it up to be sustainable for the future.

“I think what he’s done is incredible.

“I like the culture he’s created. I see it on a daily basis.

“I like where we’re at.”

Sanders still has three years remaining on his five-year, $29.5 million contract.

In September, he hinted he could quit the Buffaloes at the end of the season.

“Look around your environment and ask yourself can you do better than what you’re doing?,” he said.

“What areas in your life need improvement? How can you change it and are you willing to change?

“Only a fool thinks they don’t need change or help. Don’t be that fool?

“We can all be better and do better.”

Footage of the 26-year-old puking spread like wildfire on social media[/caption]

But not as viral as footage of the 26-year-old THROWING UP moments after the breathtaking score.

Cameras caught Shenault spewing on the sidelines after the Hawks‘ offensive line was replaced by their defensive counterparts.

Scores of NFL fans commented on the clip after it spread like wildfire on social media.

One wrote on X: “‘Sleepless in Seattle? Sickness in Seattle.'”

Another said: “The kick return f**ked him up bad lol.”

And another said: “Welcome to the hurl club.”

One remarked: “Puke and rally.”

Another chimed in: “Nasty.”

Laviska Shenault Jr’s heroics mattered little as the Seahawks suffered a 36-24 defeat[/caption]

Amazon Prime commentator Al Michaels was almost speechless after the cameras panned to the vomiting Shenault.

The veteran commentator – 79 – said: “Meanwhile… sickness on the sidelines.”

Shenault’s incredible touchdown return and subsequent vomiting on the sidelines ended up mattering little as the Hawks came up short against the 49ers.

The 49ers ran out 36-24 winners at Lumen Field to take their record for the season to three wins and three defeats.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said: “I thought we played real well in the second half, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to win.

“That’s kind of how it works. We played well. They played well.

“They came back and made some plays, which made it tighter.

“And I was glad that our guys could fight through that, realize that games are really never over where you can just sit and chill in the fourth quarter.

“You’ve got to go beginning to the end and we got that experience today.”

My new car started smoking after I took it for an oil change – mechanic lifted the hood and found dangerous issue

A DRIVER has learned the dangers of getting cheap oil changes after the hood of her brand-new Toyota erupted with billowing smoke.

The dangerous issue was uncovered by a mechanic who warned drivers to think twice before choosing an affordable chain.

A mechanic was shocked to see a car with 19,000 miles in his shop after smoke started billowing out of the hood
TikTok/menjicar

A technician left the oil cap off, and he had to rinse off the residue[/caption]

The TikToker (@menjicar) shared a video of the Toyota’s interior and showed how it landed a spot in his shop, despite only having 19,000 miles.

Oil had spilled all over the hood’s interior after the cap fell off – even splashing on the new car’s most expensive parts.

The TikToker showed how the car’s vibrating engine caused oil to splatter the entire engine bay and warned, “It gets worse when you rev up the car.”

After a brief search, he spotted the cap hiding on the left side under the hood and surmised that an oil technician simply forgot to put it back on.

“I’m hoping this didn’t damage anything because you can see the oil is all over the place,” he said.

“It’s even on the ABC module, which is very expensive.”

The mechanic believes the driver went for a fast oil change but wouldn’t reveal which brand he expected would make the idiotic mistake.

Luckily after screwing the cap back on and spraying the interior with water, the car looked as good as new.

“Look how good it looks. It’s like nobody’s used it,” he said.

TikTok users were horrified by the video, which amassed over 100,000 views, and had some ideas where the driver got her oil change.

One viewer said he’s heard of “so many mistakes from the cheap fast places.”

Another wrote, “Say the name, brother. I don’t want my Toyota ending up like that.”

A third driver said the same issue happened to him in the past, and that his engine died five years later.

Other TikTok users questioned why the mechanic sprayed water under the hood as they thought it would ruin the engine.

However, the expert noted that engines get wet every time you drive in the rain and advised spraying underneath when the engine is hot so the water will evaporate quickly.

OIL CHANGE TIPS

Several factors should be considered before getting an oil change, including the age of your car, what oil you should use, and the driving conditions you normally operate in.

Generally, it’s good to get a change every 5,000 to 7,500 miles.

For older cars, experts advise getting a change about every 3,000 miles.

And newer cars which have engines that use full synthetic oil can go as far as 15,000 miles in between services, according to AAA.

The oil change drama comes after several drivers slammed one brand for leaving them with smoky engines and $6,000 in repairs.

How often should you change your oil?

Experts say the exact figure depends on a variety of factors, including:

  1. Age of vehicle. Older vehicles tend to need oil changes sooner than newer cars, as the engine oil used doesn’t last as long as newer oil. Plus, the clearances between moving parts tend to be wider than when the engine was new.
  2. Type of oil. Synthetic oil tends to last a lot longer between changes compared to synthetic or a synthetic blend.
  3. Driving conditions. People who live in dusty areas or regions with extreme weather conditions that require a lot of driving or stop-and-go traffic should change their oil sooner than normal to keep moving parts lubricated.
  4. Cars that bear heavy loads, like regularly towing a trailer, as it puts strain on an engine.

Typically, older cars should have their oil changed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. More modern cars can go between 5,000 to 7,500 miles between changes, especially as modern oil contains more efficient lubricants and additives. Some cars that use synthetic oil only need changes every 15,000 miles.

It’s important to read your owner’s manual to determine the exact weight and interval your car needs.

Moment student finds deadly Chinese SCORPION crawling around in Shein parcel before locking it in a tupperware container

THIS is the shocking moment a university student found a deadly scorpion crawling around in her clothing parcel from Shein.

Sofia Alonso-Mossinger, 18, first thought the live venomous insect was a toy with her package before it started moving.

The student, 18, quickly rezipped the bag containing a pair of boots[/caption]

The electrical and electronic engineering student from the University of Bristol described the ordeal as “pretty scary”.

Sofia quickly rezipped the bag containing a pair of boots, removed it from her room and called her flatmates for help.

She told the BBC: “I unzipped the outer packaging and saw something move and was like, what’s this?

“I thought I was dreaming. I feel like I am all right with spiders and things but it was scary being in my room with a random scorpion.”

Flatmate Phoebe Hunt, 18, heard Sofia screaming before rushing to her aid.

She said: “At first, I’ll be honest, I said we should kill it and then everyone pointed out that wasn’t the most humane thing so we scooped it up and put it in a Tupperware.”

Zoology student Oliver James used kitchen tongs to transfer the clawed creature into a plastic container.

The housemates then gave the scorpion water and some card to hide under.

The National Centre for Reptile Welfare (NCRW) was called to remove the scorpion.

Chris Newman from the NCRW, said reports of such stowaways were surprisingly frequent.

He said: “The scorpion is Olivierus martensii, it doesn’t really have a common name other than Chinese scorpion.”

The expert said its sting would be “medically significant… potentially life threatening but an average adult would just have a really bad day”.

“It is quite worrying, this is the second one we have had in under a month that has come in this way,” he added.

Chinese-owned fast fashion brand Shein said it was looking into the incident.

The Sun has approached Shein for comment.
