In July, Will and Marshall Barnet stopped at Arkansas’ Crater of Diamonds State Park during a road trip to try their hand at mining.  During their sift, the father-son duo saw something glittering and pulled out a 2-carat […]

‘Mam’s night off’ Paris Fury debuts her ‘don’t care hair’ for night away from seven kids – and it’s so easy to recreate

MUM-of-seven Paris Fury has debuted her “don’t care hair” before heading on a “night off” from mum duties.

Last night, the 34-year-old unveiled a high, messy bun that she threw together with little effort – and she boasted that it “actually looked quite good”.

The star of the show was her “don’t care hair” which she admitted “actually looked quite good”[/caption]

Paris kept a loose look both around her scalp and in the bun – something celebrity hairstyle Chris Appleton has shared a number of easy tutorials on recreating.

She paired her “don’t care hair” with a £5,695 outfit – two pieces of which were from her latest River Island haul.

These were a matching set of a £50 grey crew neck denim jacket with the matching £45 grey mid rise faded wide leg jeans.

The good news for bargain hunting fans is that the jacket is now slashed to £20 in the sale.

The bad news is that her handbag and necklace are very much out of us normal folks’ budgets.

She paired her new updo and high street clobber with the Christian Dior Small Lady Dior handbag in Cherry Red.

According to the experts at Sellier, this current season piece will set you back a whopping £4,900.

Paris also wore a variation of the 30 Montaigne Necklace, which cost between £490 to £700 for the pearl chain designs.

Despite rumours otherwise, Paris’ signature blonde locks are all her own hair, and not extensions.

She has been known to get her hair done in Lancaster city salon, Heaton Hair, near the Fury family home in Morecambe.

However, for her “mam’s night off”, she threw the top bun together herself.

The messy bun reached its peak as a fashion staple in the 2010s, with social media influencers and celebrities frequently donning the look.

The rise of “effortless chic” became a key trend, and the messy bun became a symbol of that style.

It’s now seen as appropriate for everything from casual outings to red carpet events, thanks to its versatility.

How rich are the Furys?

Tyson and Paris Fury have an estimated combined net worth over £70 million.

The bulk of this comes from Tyson’s heavyweight boxing paydays, most recently earning £80 million from his clash with Oleksandr Usyk.

Experts believe he has a whopping £300 million sitting in the bank, which is also thanks to the Fury family’s Netflix show and five book deals.

But mum-of-seven Paris proved she can take on the world after stepping down from Tyson’s company in August 2022 to focus on her own projects.

In just one year of flying solo, she raked in £180,000 from book and PR deals, and social media ads.

The couple live with their seven children in a £1.7 million mansion in Morecambe, Lancashire.

It can be styled loosely for a laid-back vibe or with a touch of sophistication for more formal settings.

According to Paris, the wife of boxing champion Tyson Fury, keeping pride in your appearance is something that was instilled in her thanks to her gypsy roots

She believes that everyone can take pride in their appearance, no matter what shape, size, look or background they are from.

“Taking pride in your appearance shouldn’t depend on being conventionally slim or attractive,” she wrote in her second book released last year, How Does She Do It.

Taking pride in your appearance shouldn’t depend on being conventionally slim or attractive. I reckon you can make the best of yourself, whatever your shape or size

Paris FuryHow Does She Do It

“I reckon you can make the best of yourself, whatever your shape or size.”

This is a philosophy she is instilling in her seven children.

They ARE Venezuela, 15, Prince John James, 11, Prince Tyson II (also known as Tutty), eight, Valencia, six, Prince Adonis Amaziah, five, Athena, three, and Rico, one.

Paris cited her mum as a good example of someone who is “always fabulously turned out” – a habit she has taken on as a mum herself.

“She’s an extremely good looking woman,” she said. “From her elegant clothes and accessories to her stylish hair and make-up.

“Friends and family will often shower her with compliments.”

Small UK airport scraps two of its strictest hand luggage rules

A UK airport has ditched some of its much-hated security rules.

Bournemouth Airport passengers will be able to keep more of their items in their luggage when travelling through.

Bournemouth Airport has ditched some strict security rules[/caption]

Most airports still require travellers to take both laptops and liquids out of their bags when going through security.

This can result in much longer queues especially at peak times.

However, the small UK airport has said that this is no longer the case.

Instead, they can both remain in any luggage going through the scanners.

An statement released by the airport reads: “Bournemouth Airport has completed the process of installing and testing new security screening equipment to improve passenger security.

“For hand luggage this means that with immediate effect, passengers flying from Bournemouth Airport can now leave Liquids and large electrical items such as laptops in their cabin baggage.

“Passengers flying from Bournemouth Airport will no longer need to present liquids separately in a clear plastic bag however, liquids are still restricted to containers of up to 100ml.”

Sun Travel has contacted Bournemouth Airport for comment.

The current liquid rules remain in place across the UK which is that all liquids must be under 100ml, and all fit into a small plastic bag.

This had hoped to be scrapped earlier this year across the UK.

Despite a number of UK airports scrapping the rules, the government u-turned just days later.

There is no confirmed date when this will be lifted again.

When it is, Brits will be able to take as much as 2l of liquids in their hand luggage without restriction.

And holidaymakers will still have to check the rules when going abroad.

Other airports who don’t follow the rules will require tourists to still carry liquids under 100ml.

But there is even better news for Bournemouth Airport, with Jet2 launching 16 new routes from the airport next year.

Spanish destinations will include the Alicante, Ibiza, Menorca, Majorca, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife.

Corfu, Heraklion, Rhodes and Zante in Greece will also be added, as well as Turkey‘s Antalya and Dalaman, along with Faro and Funchal in Portugal.

And the airport has revealed plans for a £5million expansion, with predictions to welcome a record one million passengers.

The 7 ways Rivals star Emily Atack proves boobs rule and how she uses them as the ultimate power play

SEX siren Emily Atack is no stranger to a suggestive selfie or a sultry snap and regularly sets pulses racing with her plunging necklines, bikini shots and sexy photoshoots.

During filming for Rivals, a new series based on Jilly Cooper’s bestselling novel of the same name, the 34-year-old Inbetweeners‘ star revealed how she was so relaxed filming full frontals she would sit on set with her ‘knockers out’.

A body language expert Judi James says Emily poses for nobody but herself and her shots are empowering[/caption]

Emily, 34, plays Sarah Stratton, the wife of the deputy prime minister and is seen playing tennis naked with main character Rupert Campbell-Black played by Alex Hassell.

While Emily is no stranger to nudity and has spent decades celebrating her sexuality with sexy shoots and barely-there bikinis, she’s faced a barrage of online abuse and trolling.

However, body language expert, Judi James, says that Emily’s bare-chested snaps aren’t about trying desperately to impress and gain fans.

Instead, they are about empowering her and other women that pose that way.

According to Judi, they signal control: “The passive pouts, fake-flirty expressions or dull stares of retro glamour models have gone,” she explains.

“They have been replaced by body poses and facial expressions that suggest if there is a joke involved it’s on the viewer taking it seriously rather than the model or actress adopting them.

“It’s a clever blending of contrasting body language signals that are used to show who is really in charge now.

Here, Judi looks at the body language in Emily’s snaps which reveal how she’s grown in confidence and says these days, she isn’t posing for anyone other than herself.

‘Celebrating sexuality’

FHM Magazine
Emily shot to fame as Charlotte ‘Big Jugs’ Hinchcliffe on E4’s The Inbetweeners and once graced the cover of FHM[/caption]

In one of her first photoshoots to promote TV sitcom, The Inbetweeners, where she played Charlotte ‘Big Jugs’ Hinchcliffe, Emily posed as ‘TV’s Sexiest Girl’ for the front cover of FHM.

The linear evolution of Emily as a pin-up girl shows a seismic shift in her levels of confidence and control and Judi says, for this lads’ mag shoot, her body language makes her look ‘almost terrified’.

Judi says: “Here Emily’s shoulders are raised, which can be a sign of tension or stress, and her arms hang rigidly at her sides.

“Her expression lacks emotion as though she gets why her body might be seen as attractive but baring it like this might make her feel lacking in control of the communicated messages.”

Despite her unsure body language, in a recent interview with the Guardian, Emily said she loved doing these early career shoots.

She said: “I enjoyed those shoots. I was celebrating my youth and sexuality in beautiful locations, wearing gorgeous underwear with lovely crews of people and photographers.”

Tongue-poking fun

emilyatack/Instagram
Emily is no stranger to a cheeky bed selfie and poked fun at admirers with this bare-chested pose[/caption]

Emily’s first shoot is a far cry from this saucy topless bed selfie in which she admits she forgot her pyjamas.

According to Judi, Emily is in total control and knows exactly the message she wants to send.

She explains: “With the camera hanging drone-like in front or over her, we can see a very healthy, bare-faced-and-freckled Emily poking fun at anyone taking a look.

“She’s baring her breasts but challenging and rejecting anyone looking at the same time in this playful, fun pose.

Everything you need to know about Emily Atack

“Her eyes are creased in an eye-smile but her nose-creasing suggests a slight sneer of disgust.

“Her full-on tongue-poke is a childlike signal of rebellion, naughtiness and rejection.

“She looks confident but fun here.

“And she looks totally on top of her game in terms of confidence.”

In charge ‘chest splaying’

Instagram
Emily, pictured here with her sister Martha, regularly holidays with her family and looks incredible in the Instagram photos she shares with followers[/caption]

Emily is no stranger to looking fabulous in a bikini and this holiday in Ibiza with her mum, Kate Robbins and sister, Martha Atack, in 2021 was no exception.

Judi says that this cheeky pose shows Emily is in charge of this photo and how she wants to be perceived.

Judi says: “This pose comes with some very cheeky attitude as Emily again shows who is in charge now.

“Peering over the top of her shades she makes the viewer feel almost naughty to be looking and her slightly prudish, shocked facial expression adds to the mood of authority here.”

And Judi says women use ‘chest splaying’ to please nobody but themselves:

“The signalling is more about that sense of strength than about female sexual pleasing or peacocking for the benefit of the opposite sex,” she adds.

‘Bare but fearless’

Baring the armpits like this is a signal of power and superiority from Emily[/caption]

Emily started working with high street retailer, New Look, in Autumn 2021 and has lost all of the uncertainty of her earlier shoots in these behind-the-scenes photos from her 2023 beach campaign for the brand.

Judi says: “The session shows her with either one hand on her hip in a gesture of aggressive arousal or with both arms raised to perform a pit-bare ritual.

“Baring the armpits like this is a signal of power and superiority and, by baring this delicate body part, Emily suggests she’s now fearless and in control.”

Positively confident

Another confident bikini pose from 2021, this time in Marbella, where Emily has nailed the under-boob look.

Judi says it’s a tricky pose to pull off but Emily’s body confidence here is clearly through the roof.

Judi says: “With a cocktail in one hand Emily raises the stakes here by posing showing under-boob as well as cleavage.

“This can be a tricky ‘reveal’ to pull off in a studio but Emily clearly has enough body confidence to do it while moving around enjoying herself.

“Her chin is raised here too, signalling that extra confidence and positive self-esteem.”

Taking control

Instagram
Last year, Emily was in Ibiza posting another sexy selfie[/caption]

Last year, Emily was in Ibiza posting another sexy selfie and showing the world she knew how to pose.

Judi says a pose like this shown in a selfie, rather than in a studio, shows Emily is completely in control of her narrative.

She reveals: “Emily shows her skill at working a pose by working her cleavage here, deftly and cleverly raising one arm to hold her camera for the selfie and using it to push one boob inward at the same time.

“The act of taking a selfie for a pose like this suggests control again, rather than standing in a studio being controlled by the photographer.”

Being in control is important for Emily who says there is still a lot of misogyny in her industry.

She;’s said previously: “It’s anger towards women. Men are so angry with sexy women.”

Acting ‘appalling’

a woman in a black dress with rhinestones on it
Instagram
Emily was a permanent fixture on Keith Lemon’s cheeky panel show, Celebrity Juice[/caption]

Comedian and actress Emily appeared on Keith Lemon’s cheeky panel show, Celebrity Juice, as a team captain for three seasons from 2020.

In the last ever episode, she wore this ‘keyhole neckline cleavage’ dress and, in an Instagram post to mark the programme’s final episode, wrote: “For one last time, let’s be appalling.”

Judi says Emily is using some ironic poses while appearing on edgy comedy shows with this look.

She says: “With her legs crossed and cleavage thrust forward she’s replicating the sort of poses girls would be expected to adopt for pin-up mags of the 60’s and 70’s.

“But with an ironic vibe – as though letting the world know she’s doing it with humour and a sense of ironic fun, like a skit on that era of glam-cheese.”

I’m a gardening pro – 4 veg you must plant NOW to enjoy on Christmas Day, including ‘iconic staple that’s loved by all’

THERE’S just 10 weeks until Christmas.

And if you’re already worrying about how you’re going to afford the big day during the cost of living crisis, a gardening expert has revealed there’s four plants you can plant now and enjoy at Christmas.

If you’re already thinking about your Christmas dinner, you can get planting your potatoes now to be ready for the big day[/caption]

Be sure to plant your potato seeds at least 20cm deep for the best results, the gardening pro advised[/caption]

Firstly, an “iconic Christmas staple that’s loved by all” – the humble potato.

“Surprisingly, a couple of potato varieties can still be planted now, and harvested just in time for Christmas,” Craig Wilson, gardening expert and founder of the online gardening retailer Gardener’s Dream, said.

“Varieties such as ‘Charlotte’ and ‘Maris Piper’ potatoes can withstand the cooler months which makes them the perfect choice for a Christmas dinner for their buttery and nutty flavours.”

For the best harvest, Craig advises keeping soil temperatures cold.

“Anything below 9 degrees Celsius is best to keep up a healthy and consistent crop,” he added.

“And be sure to plant your potato seeds at least 20cm deep for the best results.”

You might not think of the next veg as going well with a Christmas roast, but Craig insisted radishes are “great when roasted alongside garlic and parsley” and can be added to parsnips and potatoes to “bring out their nutty flavour”.

“Radishes are a quick-growing vegetable that you can harvest right before Christmas,” he said.

“Varieties such as ‘Mooli’ or ‘Black Spanish’ are notably winter hardy and can be sown in October for an early harvest in December.

“Radishes love cooler temperatures in the winter months and will thrive in a sunny spot in the garden or on an allotment patch.”

But you must remember to keep the soil moist to avoid a bitter crop, Craig added.

Another word you might not associate with Christmas is “salad”.

However, Craig reckons rocket makes a brilliant addition as a side salad or a garnish – and it’s perfect to plant out now in time for Christmas.

“Rocket seeds can be sown directly into pre-prepped rich soil,” he said.

“Rocket thrives in moist but well-drained soil and in partial sunlight, which is perfect for October.

“If planting outside, it’s probably best to cover over to protect from winter frosts.

October gardening jobs

The Sun’s Gardening Editor, Veronica Lorraine, has shared the jobs you need to tackle in October.

“It’s a good time to trim deciduous hedges – like box, yew, hawthorn, hornbean and beech – plus hedge trimmers are a great upper body workout!

Make leafmould – gather up all the fallen leaves and fill either bin bags or plastic carrier bags. Seal the top, stick a few small holes in the bag – and then store for a year or more. Free compost!

It’s unlikely you’ll get any more red tomatoes so have one final harvest and chuck the plants on the compost. See if you can get the green ones to ripen by putting in a drawer (some say with a banana). Also keep the seeds from a couple – and plant again next year if they went well.

Finish getting in your spring bulbs. Ideally you’d have done daffs and alliums, but tulips are better in the ground when the soil temperature gets a bit colder.

It’s good to leave some plant litter in the ground – it adds to the nutrients as it rots down, and provides shelter and food for insects. But remove the manky brown bits collapsing all over the lawn/winter structure.

Mulch – it not only suppresses weeds, but keeps the soil warm, improves water retention and adds a little winter duvet to your outside space.

October’s a good month for carrots, peas, asparagus, broad beans, and rhubarb.”

“It can be harvested in as little as 4-6 weeks, giving more than enough time to get it onto plates for a delicious Christmas salad.”

And lastly, spinach.

Creamed spinach is a “beautifully rich addition” to a Christmas dinner, Craig promised, and “pairs extremely well with turkey, chicken, and other roasted vegetables”.

“Thankfully, winter spinach thrives in cooler weather and can be harvested in as little as six weeks,” he explained.

“Varieties such as ‘Giant Winter’ or ‘Perpetual’ are ideal for sowing in October, and will be ready to harvest in time for Christmas.”

Don’t plant your spinach in the garden though – it should be “protected from heavy frosts with a cover-over or in a greenhouse”.
