Who is Fallon Sherrock’s partner Cameron Menzies?
CAMERON Menzies and Fallon Sherrock’s romance started over a KFC, but now the plumber and pioneer practice and compete together on the biggest stages in pro darts.
Here we get to know Cameron, who admitted he’d rather not be drawn against his girlfriend at the PDC World Darts Championship 2025.
Who is Fallon Sherrock’s partner Cameron Menzies?
Cameron Menzies, born June 27, 1989, is a Scottish darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events.
He is also dating fellow thrower Fallon Sherrock.
Fallon shot to fame in 2019 when she became the first female to win a match at the PDC World Championship.
She also earned the nickname “Queen of the Palace” for her darts ability.
Glasgow-born ace Cameron first competed on the BDO circuit in 2006, playing in the Gibraltar Open.
However, he did not emerge to prominence until 2016 when he won the British Open.
Cameron later went on to play in the 2016 World Masters but suffered a loss to Irish darts player John O’Shea.
The following year he became the first Scottish player to win the Scottish Open since 2007 — a decade after Gary Anderson won it.
His career highlights also include qualifying for the 2017 BDO World Trophy through the regional qualifiers, reaching the semi-finals of the 2017 World Masters, and reaching the final stages of the Grand Slam of Darts (staged by PDC).
Away from the world of darts, to make ends meet, Cameron works shifts as a plumber.
But balancing jobs is not without its problems.
He told SunSport: “I had issues with my hands at the Players Championship.
“It happens after I use certain power tools which vibrate. My hands were a bit numb-ish.”
Cameron said he’s lucky to have a partner he can practice darts with at home… that is until he gets beat.
He told Sky Sports: “We enjoy our practice together and she is a very class player.
“She has done well for darts in general and is banging in 90 averages and 100 averages, the same as a lot of women.
If I wasn’t with Fallon I’d still be a decent darts player, but she has definitely made me a better player
“I’m quite lucky I’ve got a very good partner who can play darts.
“It’s good in the house unless she beats me and I’ve got to make the food. I don’t like it when she beats me.
“I will support her left, right and centre. I am her biggest fan.
“I might be a bit strict, but I know how good she is. I’ve known her for a very long time and I know she is very, very good.
“She’s taken me places I would never have experienced because of darts, so I’m a very lucky person.
“I’m her biggest fan and I wish her all the best.”
As of December 16, 2024, Cameron is ranked No. 39 in the world on the PDC Order of Merit.
During the 2024 season, he reached the quarter-final of a Players Championship event, ultimately losing to Gerwyn Price.
While at the World Grand Prix, he was defeated by Dave Chisnall in the last-32.
Where did Fallon Sherrock and Cameron Menzies meet?
With both boasting a passion for darts, it comes as no surprise that the pair first met each other while playing in an online darts league, competing in a doubles team.
Following their initial online encounter, Cameron revealed that ‘’it started off with a KFC’’.
He said: “I had known Fallon for years in darts and played doubles with her years ago.
”We met in an online league in Southampton.
‘’The rest is history as they say. It started off with a KFC.’’
Since finding romance, Cameron has admitted that his partner has made him a better player, adding: “In our house, she’s still the best player.
“She has made my darts better. If I wasn’t with Fallon I’d still be a decent darts player, but she has definitely made me a better player.
“She has helped my darts career massively. We have been together for two and a half years and in that time my darts has gone one way.
“Her mindset is miles better than mine. She is so composed about everything. What she goes through and does for this game is mental.
“You see the hate she gets sometimes. But her mindset is among the best I have ever seen.
“She is brilliant. I am her biggest fan. I sometimes tell her as a person she is not doing this right but as a player she is amazing.”
