At least 12 dead from carbon monoxide poisoning at ski resort in Georgia after ‘generator was switched on in power cut’
TWELVE people have died from carbon monoxide poisoning at a ski resort in Georgia, cops have said.
The bodies of 11 foreigners and one Georgian national were found in a sleeping area above a restaurant in Gudauri, in the north of the Caucasus country.
The Georgian slopes are popular with tourists[/caption]Cops said “preliminary tests do not indicate any trace of violence on the bodies,” which were discovered on the second floor of a building housing an Indian food restaurant at the ski resort.
An oil-powered generator had been switched on after the building lost electricity on Friday, officers added.
The authorities have opened an investigation into the incident.
The identities of the victims were not immediately released.
Georgia is a former Soviet republic, with its western part lying on the coast of the Black Sea and its north nestled in the Caucasus mountains.
The mountains are in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region at around 7,200ft above sea level and is around 75 miles north of Georgia’s capital Tbilisi.
Gudauri is a hugely popular tourist destination for skiers and snowboarders, with a range of winter sports activities for visitors of any level.
Its history goes back to the 19th Century when it was renowned as a trading post on the ancient Georgian Military Road connecting Russia with Georgia.

FIFA chiefs have issued a grovelling apology to the Ukrainian FA for an “unacceptable” error they “sincerely regret” during the World Cup qualifying draw.
The Eastern European country ended up in Group D alongside Iceland, Azerbaijan and either France or Croatia.
Fifa have apologised for a mistake regarding Ukraine during the World Cup qualifying draw[/caption] Ukraine was illegally invaded by Russia in 2022[/caption]But there was a controversial moment during the draw when Fifa attempted to depict countries which could not cross borders to face each other.
Spain vs Gibraltar was cited as one example, with Kosovo versus either Serbia or Bosnia & Herzegovina another.
A map with shaded areas revealed which nations fell into the category.
But Ukrainian chiefs were left outraged when their country was flagged for any potential clash with Belarus.
The dark patch showed Ukraine without the territory of Crimea, which was annexed by Russia in 2014.
The Black Sea peninsula is still officially classed as an administrative division of Ukraine.
But Russia now occupies Crimea and has several military air bases stationed there following 2022’s illegal invasion of the mainland.
Ukraine’s FA wrote a furious letter to Fifa expressing their anger over the map.

And football’s governing body have now responded expressing their “sincere regret” over the decision.
Elkhan Mammadov, Chief Member Association Officer, said: “We acknowledge receipt of your letter and would like to thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

“We deeply respect the concerns raised and the sensitivity of the issue at hand.
“The infographic in question was developed by an external third-party service provider.
“Upon recognising the issue, we have taken immediate steps to address the situation, including working to have the image removed from circulation.
“Additionally, we are conducting an internal review to ensure such oversights do not recur in the future.
“We fully understand the delicate sensitivity of this matter and while the incident was unintentional, we sincerely regret any concern it may have caused and appreciate your understand as we work to address this situation responsibly.”
The Ukrainian FA’s initial letter had stated: “We are writing to express our deep concern regarding the infographic map of Europe shown during the TV broadcast of the European Qualifiers draw for the Fifa World Cup 2026 on December 13, 2024.
“The map, which indicated the countries unable to cross borders, highlighted the territory of Ukraine without the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
“Considering several official decisions and resolutions passed by the Fifa Council and the Uefa Executive Committee since 2014, which addressed the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the protection of football stakeholders in our country from the aggressive policies of the Russian terrorist state, including regarding the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, we emphasise that the version of the map presented by Fifa during the global broadcast to a multi-million audience is unacceptable.
“It appears as an inconsistent stance by Fifa and Uefa on this crucial issue, especially in light of the ongoing destructive invasion initiated by Russia against Ukraine in the 21st century, in the heart of Europe.”

Iconic restaurant chain to leave US city on February 15 after 23 years – leaving just one behind in state
HARD Rock Café bosses have confirmed that the internationally-renowned chain will leave a US city in weeks.
Execs are calling time for the brand’s location in Pittsburgh in February of next year.
A Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh is to close[/caption]Fans will just have weeks to dig into their favorite dishes as the restaurant closes on February 15.
Chiefs have confirmed the restaurant is closing in line with the expiration of its lease.
The restaurant had been a fixture in the Pennsylvanian city for around 23 years, as per the CBS affiliate KDKA-TV.
When it closes, only one Hard Rock café in Pennsylvania will remain.
The shutdown will come just months after a Joe’s Crab Shack establishment closed its doors for good in Pittsburgh.
A Buca di Beppo establishment went to the wall after the chain declared bankruptcy.
News of the pending Hard Rock café closure has prompted diners to reminisce about their memories of eating at the establishment.
“Many happy memories. Sad to see it close!” one diner mourned.
“Another venue gone,” another lamented.
“I’m bummed about the Hard Rock Café closing down,” a third diner cried.
“That’s a great place. That’s a huge loss for Pittsburgh.”
A spokesperson for the restaurant chain revealed the brand was “grateful” to its fans.
Diners needn’t despair as Hard Rock Café bosses are set to open five new restaurants this month.
It remains to be seen where the locations will be.
US braces for '45,000 store closures'
Some 45,000 bricks-and-mortar stores could close in the next five years, experts have warned.
Several major retailers have announced store closures or gone out of business altogether in recent years.
Chains such as Foot Locker, Sally Beauty, Tuesday Morning, Shore City, Z Gallerie, and Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams have all gone out of business.
Bed Bath & Beyond has closed all of its brick-and-mortar stores and is now an online-only retailer.
The most affected retailers have been clothing, consumer electronics, sporting goods, hobby, book, music, and home furnishing stores since the start of 2019.
UBS has predicted the total number of retail stores will drop by 45k from 958k to 913k.
Despite that, the report says that certain stores should thrive while others decline.
It said retailers such as Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, and Target, could be among the winners.
Last year, the chain closed restaurants in Seattle and Memphis.
Hard Rock Café was founded in London in 1971, and the chain has more than 300 establishments across 74 countries.
The brand is not the only chain shutting down restaurants.
Bosses at the barbecue chain Famous Dave’s closed two restaurants in Washington state.
Huge and recognizable chains have been impacted by store closures, including Red Lobster and Friendly’s.
Red Lobster chiefs closed over 100 restaurants as the chain fought for survival.
Execs filed for bankruptcy in May before the seafood company, known for its cheese biscuits, was taken over in September.
Damola Adamolekun, the brand’s new CEO, said the company has a tremendous future.
But, he warned that promos such as Endless Shrimp will not be making a comeback.
The deal was considered one of the factors that caused the brand’s financial problems.
Outback Steakhouse was also among the brands that underwent mass closures.
Michael Strahan sends message on Fox NFL Sunday to disgruntled Eagles star who made public statement despite win streak
MICHAEL STRAHAN has told A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts to resolve their issues privately after some apparent bumps in their relationship were made public.
Despite a 10-game winning streak for the Philadelphia Eagles, topped off with a 27-13 win on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers that clinched them a playoff place in the NFC East.
Michael Strahan told the Philadelphia Eagles to sort out any locker beef in private[/caption] Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown were said to have fallen out[/caption]Last week, Eagles star defensive end Brandon Graham hinted there was a rift between receiver Brown and quarterback Hurts after Brown had said the team needed to improve on passing.
Graham had said: “They were friends before this, but things have changed, and I understand that because life happens.
“But, it’s the business side that we have to make sure that we don’t let the personal get in the way of the business, and that’s what we gotta do better right now.”
However, speaking on Fox before the win on Sunday, Strahan told the Eagles to sort out any issues in private to avoid creating unwanted headlines.
He said: “The team’s winning! Nine straight games. Handle this in the locker room. Don’t handle it in the public.
“[Brown] set records a few years ago, Saquon Barkley is setting records now.
“So offences change, they evolve, right now they’re leaning on the run game, they’re leaning on Saquon Barkley. It’s working.
“He does deserve to get the ball, he’s one of the best receivers in the league, but also understand that you’ve just gotta fit in sometimes how you fit in.
“You can’t let your ego and numbers and stats get in the way of what the team is doing.”
Following Graham’s comments, Brown had insisted there was no bad blood between himself and Hurts.
NFL Insider Jay Glazer also claimed that both Brown and Hurts had told team-mates during a team meeting that there was no rift to speak of.
Glazer said: “They nipped that in the bud real quick there.”
Graham is said to have apologised to the entire team collectively following the clarification.
The Eagles play the Washington Commanders next with a record of 12-2.
If they beat the Commanders, they will also clinch the division title.
Prince Andrew breaks cover amid hugely embarrassing Chinese spy row as royal urged to ‘uninvite himself’ from Xmas bash
PRINCE Andrew has broken his cover amid a hugely embarrassing Chinese spy row – as he’s urged to “uninvite himself” from the royal Christmas.
The Duke of York was snapped for the first time this morning driving a Range Rover from Royal Lodge, in Windsor, after his supposed 10-year friendship with a spy was made public.
Andrew leaving Royal Lodge on Monday[/caption]Described in court papers as a close confidant of Andrew’s, the royal was forced to say “nothing of a sensitive nature [was] ever discussed” with the man.
In a statement issued on Friday, Andrew’s office said: “The Duke of York followed advice from HMG and ceased all contact with the individual after concerns were raised.
“The duke met the individual through official channels, with nothing of a sensitive nature ever discussed.
“He is unable to comment further on matters relating to national security.”
The suspected spy previously lost an appeal against a decision to ban him from Britain.
The 50-year-old, who supported Prince Andrew during recent scandals and was invited to his birthday party in 2020, was properly excluded, immigration judges ruled.
He was not honest about his links to the Chinese state and could exploit his relationship with the duke and other public figures, they said.
The King is “exasperated” after he was briefed by British intelligence over the major security breach, the Mirror reports.
Counter-intelligence officers are probing how the man became scandal-hit Andrew’s “confidant”.
They are also reportedly investigating whether Andrew received cash from China.
It is said the alleged Chinese spy visited Buckingham Palace and knew Andrew for around 10 years.
In their ruling, the judges pointed to what they called the “unusual degree of trust” the man had from a senior royal.
They added: “It is obvious that the pressures on the duke could make him vulnerable to the misuse of that sort of influence.”
The man, known as H6, was banned last year by then-Home Secretary Suella Braverman after officials flagged concerns.
It comes as insiders claim Andrew must “uninvite himself” from the Royal Family’s pre-Christmas bash over the controversial relationship.
Andrew is due to attend the lunch at Buckingham Palace this Thursday.
But a source said: “He is under pressure to step away.”
The Prince should do “the gentlemanly thing” and skip a festive family lunch this week to avoid fresh embarrassment over the scandal of his Chinese spy pal, insiders say.
Shamed Andy is also being urged to avoid being seen in public when the royals walk to church at Sandringham on Christmas Day.
His invite to Thursday’s meal at Buckingham Palace for more than 50 members of the extended Royal Family is now said to be untenable, with courtiers urging Andrew not to force King Charles’s hand in barring him.
It would also see him avoid a grilling from his brother in what would be their first face-to-face meeting since the scandal broke.
A source said yesterday: “There would inevitably have to be some very awkward conversations and the King would not relish making his brother squirm.
“Andrew has managed the unthinkable and made a complete t*t of himself even before the Christmas party.
“It’s been a hell of a year for The Firm and the last thing they want is this scandal dragging on during a period of celebration.
“The thinking is he’s been foolish, but the more he keeps his head down the sooner everyone can move on.”
One source close to the King said Charles would be reluctant to ban his brother outright.
But he might have to rely on courtiers diplomatically “advising” him.
Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, said: “Andrew should take it on himself and decline both invites. It would be the gentlemanly thing to do so he isn’t embarrassing the King.
“But Andrew is pretty thick-skinned and maybe we have to rely on the influence of Fergie.
“Christmas Day is different because the walk to church is so public and the pictures go all round the world. He should take a back seat and just not go.
“Andrew is an embarrassment for the King at the end of a difficult year where he and the rest of the family have had to deal with cancer and they were looking to start 2025 with optimism.
“He shouldn’t have to deal with a brother who has potentially caused a huge political problem.”
Security chiefs feared Beijing was attempting an “elite capture” operation to influence Andrew.
The Home Office believed the businessman had been engaged in covert activity and his relationship with Andrew, 64, could be used for political interference.
MI5 launched a probe into the Duke’s China links.
He was made a trade envoy to the communist country in 2001 and held events there for Pitch@Palace, his programme to link businesses with investors.
The scandal comes after Andrew won his battle to stay at his Royal Lodge home in Windsor.
Despite the King axing his annual £3million allowance, the Duke secured mystery funding to pay for his upkeep and security.
Palace officials have been assured the cash is from legitimate sources.
The Palace declined to comment.

IT’S been a tough year for Princess Kate who has had preventative cancer treatment following abdominal surgery.
The Princess of Wales has now delighted royal fans by making a triumphant return to official duties after finishing chemotherapy.
As we look back on 2024 and Kate’s journey, one thing is for sure – everything the royal mum-of-two wears is intentional and meticulously planned out.
Fashion expert Amber Graafland told Fabulous: “There’s no disputing that the Princess of Wales has established herself as a global style icon.
“Fashion choices aside, during her years in the royal spotlight, she’s learned to echo the same tactics the late Queen adopted.
“From choosing block colours that ensure she stands out at public engagements, to wearing a national colour to show respect for a host country or opting for symbolic jewels to honour late loved ones, she’s mastered the art of sartorial symbolism.
“The Princess uses her clothing to send coded messages and often weaves hidden tributes and powerful symbols into her dressing. “
Following a turbulent year, here, Amber looks back at Kate’s 2024 style moments and what we can learn from them…

Mother’s Day card outfit
Kate’s Mother’s Day look intended to show the family were ‘united, strong and unaffected by recent health concerns’[/caption]Following planned surgery in January, Kate released a family photo on Mother’s Day.
Opting to go without her wedding rings, Kate chose a casual khaki zip-up jacket, which looked to be The Woodcock Advanced jacket from Seeland, her favourite style of skinny jeans and her faithful See by Chloe Combat boots.
The image was designed to calm nerves and quell internet speculation about the Princess of Wales’s condition, following her absence after planned abdominal surgery.
However, following doubts as to the authenticity of the photo it didn’t have quite the desired effect.
Kate’s outfit choice however was clearly made to project the image of a happy, healthy family.
The decision to forgo jewellery for her first picture post-surgery, cuddling up to her children George, Charlotte and Louis, was orchestrated to show her down-to-earth parenting style.
The image was intended to show the family were united, strong and unaffected by recent health concerns.

Kate’s cancer announcement
Kate’s striped top conveyed that in addition to being a future queen, that Kate is a ‘mum, a wife and a homemaker’[/caption]When Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis back in March she sent a very clear message. Dressed in a Breton-striped top her outfit was carefully chosen to convey to the world that in addition to being the future queen she is a mum, a wife and a homemaker.
The £650 stripy Erdem top is a personal favourite, worn before, on happier occasions.
Firstly, back in May 2019 for a trip to St Andrews where her relationship with Prince William blossomed, then in April last year for an official photograph with Prince Louis.
While a sense of continuity was an important part of the message, reaching for her favourite top may have felt like reaching for a security blanket at an uncertain time,
Wearing her hair long hair loose, without any noticeable makeup, Kate kept her look simple in order not to detract from the brave and earnest delivery.
Wearing minimal make-up and with her long hair loose, she kept her look very natural for the brave public announcement.
Seated on a park bench removed from all regal grandeur, and wearing her engagement ring, this was Kate reminding us that she’s a wife and a mother whose priorities must lie with her husband and children until her recovery is complete.

Trooping the Colour
The Princess of Wales delighted fans with her appearance at Trooping the Colour[/caption] Looking angelic in white, she looked elegant in a Jenny Packham dress[/caption]For her first outing since taking an extended break from the spotlight during her cancer treatment, the Princess of Wales reached for one of her favourite, trusted go-to designers Jenny Packham gown.
Stepping on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the King’s birthday parade Kate opted to wear the exact dress she had worn a year ago for the King’s Coronation weekend.
The message was simple. It’s business as usual.
While a sense of continuity was an important part of the message, reaching for her favourite top may have felt like reaching for a security blanket at an uncertain time
Amber Graafland
With the eyes of the world upon her, Kate knew the importance of hitting the right note for the occasion.
The Jenny Packham dress, Philip Treacy hat, Jimmy Choo shoes, pearl earrings by Cassandra Goad pearl earrings and Mulberry bag offered a sense of continuity as well as ongoing support for homegrown talent.
The decision to wear white was also rife with meaning as it symbolises rebirth, purity and hope.
And in a subtle nod to the late Princess Diana, Kate added a striped belt and grosgrain bow detail to the dress.
This clever addition served to ground the subtext of new beginnings and progress in tradition.

Wimbledon with Charlotte
The Princess of Wales opted for a vibrant purple outfit as she attended Wimbledon in her first solo engagement of the year.
Her colour choice was imbued with historical significance as purple and green have become synonymous with Wimbledon, representing the events heritage and standing in the tennis community.
As patron of the club the Safiyaa midi dress was Kate’s homage to this legacy.
Adding her signature dark green and purple bow further signified her role and patronage of the club.
On a more personal level, her colour choice appeared to be particularly poignant as for many a lavender ribbon is seen as a sign of support for those living with all types of cancer.
Since revealing her diagnosis Kate has made it clear she hopes to support others within the cancer community.
Kate loves Wimbledon and was clearly thrilled to be back, her return gave hope, signifying her plans to ‘pick up where she left off’ as soon she is well enough.

Video to Team GB alongside Wills
Royal watchers spotted Princess Kate wearing a new ring as she stood next to Wills[/caption]Recording a special message of congratulations to the Team GB athletes to mark the end of the Paris Olympics, Kate reached for her trusty and familiar Breton stripe top and dainty gold necklace.
The boat neck horizontal Ralph Lauren cotton top, which originally retailed for £85, has been a staple in Kate’s wardrobe since 2013. Kate was first seen wearing it while out food shopping in Anglesey, North Wales in August 2013. Then two months later to an official SportAid charity event at the Olympic Park in London.
The Princess was also seen wearing a new ring; however it was only a fleeting glimpse. Set with diamonds and sapphires, the gold ring, which speculated to have belonged to Princess Diana.
The wedding ring Kate normally wears[/caption]The ring in question was chosen by the late of Princess Diana when she presented with a selection of options by the then Crown jewellers, Garrard of Mayfair, upon her engagement to Prince Charles.
Opting for a familiar and approachable style was Kate’s way of sending a message of reassurance to the public. Also, by not trying too hard and dressing down she was showing the world that she was still on a journey.
While she was clearly doing well, there was still progress to be made.

End of chemo family video
In a video to announce her cancer recovery journey Kate looked radiant in two different dresses, and as always with the future queen, her outfit choices were worth a million words.
Enjoying a day in nature with her family, she alternated between two different blue dresses.
The first look was a £598 boho-chic white Castella floral print Veronica Beard ramie midi dress with a botanical pattern.
The princess also wears a blue dress tied at the waist. Both outfits were teamed with her go-to Veja trainers.
“This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved,” she wrote alongside the video.
With her hair worn down in natural waves Kate looked relaxed, enjoying time with her family, as far as any dress can express that sentiment, Kate’s outfit choices did so perfectly.
Contemporary and elegant, with a romantic sophistication, both dresses were a subtle but deliberate nod to the princess’s commitment to her family.

Visit to families of the Southport stabbing victims
Kate visited Southport as she returned to royal duties – and had a ‘back to work’ look[/caption]In her first official royal engagement since completing chemotherapy treatment, Kate opted to wear a £149 burgundy polka dot Whistle’s dress, previously worn in 2018.
This time however she gave the dress a stylish twist, using the detachable belt to tie a stylish bow around her neck.
Putting a sleek update on an old dress was a smart sartorial move. Style icon Kate was keen to prove her style creativity, suggesting not only is back at work but she’s back in her fashion stride.
Kate teamed the dress with a long chocolate maroon coat by her wedding dress designer, Alexander McQueen, and a stylish pair of suede heels.
It is the first time she has joined William on an engagement for six months[/caption]After a period of intense uncertainty, it was important for William and Kate to put on a display of unity.
With a question mark over the Kings health, the public are looking to William & Kate for stability. Therefore, William’s decision to coordinate with his wife by wearing a burgundy jumper and tie was no coincidence.
The Princess also acknowledged her challenging year by wearing a pair of Catherine Zoraida Gold Fern Drop Earrings. The Princess wore the same pair for a children’s picnic at the Chelsea Flower Show in May 2023.
Kate’s choice of fern earrings carried special significance. According to the brand, the fern is widely regarded as “a symbol of endurance, resilience and new beginnings,” due to its ability to flourish in difficult conditions. Its unfurling leaves also represent new growth and renewal.

Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall
The Princess of Wales wore Diana’s earrings for the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall[/caption]In appropriate style for the solemn service, Kate was determined to convey consistency, wearing an all-back ensemble complete with a buttoned, long-sleeve dress, sheer black tights, and a matching quilted Chanel clutch.
Kate accessorised with a delicate pearl necklace by Monica Vinader and her sapphire engagement ring. To complete the outfit, she fastened her Fleet Air Arm brooch next to a vibrant poppy flower on her dress lapel. In the past years, she has worn a trio of Remembrance Day poppies, but she opted for a single poppy, with a silver military badge underneath.

The Princess also paid a touching tribute to her late mother-in-law Prince Diana by opting to wear a pair of Collingwood diamond and pearl earrings that were gifted to Diana by the jeweller.
Diana often wore the pearl drop earrings to public events, such as a special performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Starlight Express” at the Apollo Theatre in London in 1984. She also wore them to an evening at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C. in November 1985, the day after her famous dance with John Travolta.
A favourite of Kate’s she has worn them on several occasions, first at the Spanish State Banquet in 2017, then a few weeks later at the Passchendaele Centenary commemorations in Belgium. Kate also wore them for the Queen’s Buckingham Palace garden party in 2019.

Remembrance Sunday
Kate gave a nod to the late Queen with her earrings at the Remembrance Sunday service[/caption]The princess appeared at the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London.
For the Remembrance Day Service Kate reimagined her signature style, re-wearing a favourite military inspired coat by Catherine Walker and updating it with a velvet bow and replacing the black buttons with velvet ones.
Kate recognises she has lots of beautiful and timeless pieces already in her wardrobe, which, with a few adjustments, can look new.
The Catherine Walker design was initially worn with tasselled epaulets in 2020 for her balcony appearance at the Cenotaph.
In 2022 she had the tassels removed to greet Commonwealth troops at the Army Training Centre Pirbright in the days leading up to Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. Kate’s commitment to re-wearing outfits has brought a fresh, influential approach to royal fashion.
Kate completed the look with a veiled, floral embellished hat by Juliette Botterill Millinery, a delicate piece that added an elegant touch to the ensemble.
A fitting nod to tradition, the Princess wore Queen Elizabeth’s Bahrain pearl drop earrings, and a regimental brooch along with three Remembrance poppies.

Qatar Royal Family visit
Kate channelled the Qatar flag out of respect for their royal family[/caption]Day one of The Amir of the State of Qatar’s visit to the United Kingdom marked a major appearance for Kate amid her gradual return to royal duties following cancer treatment.
Arriving by carriage, and dressed to combat the cold, Catherine Princess of Wales opted for a chic tonal outfit that not only championed the colour of the season but paid homage to the Qatar flag.
Comprised of items she already had in her closet, the long-fitted coat was by her go-to favourite British designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, It fell to her favourite midi length and had a smart collar, lapels and slightly angular shoulders that gave it beautiful structure. Inside the palace Kate removed the coat to reveal a coat dress by Eponine London that she first wore to her 2022 carol concert.
The princess wore it again in 2023 to mark the one year anniversary of the Queen’s passing, perhaps a sartorial reminder that this year’s carol concert will happen on Friday.
December 6
Together at Christmas concert
Arriving at Westminster for her annual Christmas carol concert the Princess of Wales’ colour choice was carefully considered.
For her biggest return to date, Kate’s festive red Alexander McQueen outfit was a poignant and heartfelt show of optimism.
Returning to public duties, after the most difficult year of her life, she opted for red as a symbol of excitement and energy.
Kate is adept at using her clothing to convey subtle messages, and her vibrant red coat, featuring a statement black bow, struck the right chord.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then Kate’s outfit spoke volumes.
