Taylor Swift planning to stay in Kansas City despite Travis Kelce mansion break-in as couple’s Christmas plans revealed

TAYLOR Swift had the time of her life in 2024 – but now she’s happy to sit back and watch Travis Kelce get to serious work.

The superstar singer rolled out the last of an incredible 149 shows on her blockbuster Eras tour last weekend and is now officially – and deservedly – putting her feet up for the holiday season.

Travis has bulked up security at his Kansas City mansion following a break-in last month[/caption]

According to The U.S Sun’s well-placed source, Taylor will spend some time in Kansas with boyfriend Travis, just a month after thieves ransacked his and pal Patrick Mahomes’ mansions.

We revealed that Travis is desperate to be reunited with his first-ever Super Bowl jersey, which was stolen in the raid, along with luxury watches and other memorabilia.

The Kansas City Chiefs star has ramped up his home security and is now fully locked into the business end of the NFL season, with another title ring to add to his collection as the target.

Having Taylor by his side will keep him chilled as the season reaches boiling point.

“She will be going to Kansas City and staying there for some time during the next few weeks to be with Travis and show him love and support,” the insider told The U.S. Sun.

“She wants to witness another potential championship season for the Chiefs.”

BUSY TIME

While Taylor is enjoying her time off, Travis and the Chiefs are currently sitting pretty at the top of the AFC West with an emphatic 12-1 record this campaign.

But they have a monster clash with the 10-3 Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day.

That festive tussle comes four days after a match-up with the Houston Texans.

A third Super Bowl appearance on the spin is in sight.

But the hard work for the year is done for the Cruel Summer star.

The source says the record-breaking Eras tour experience was the “most exciting” of her career and that “she learned a lot.”

“Taylor is sad the tour is over because she had such a fantastic time, but she’s keen to spend some time away from the spotlight,” he said. “She wants to live the simple life for a while.”

Both families will be reunited for Christmas — Taylor could spend some time in New York and Los Angeles in the next few weeks — and, says the source, a hearty gift list has been prepared.

The U.S. Sun revealed earlier this month that the pair is considering several interesting projects, including the approval of a Broadway show about their lives as an A-list power couple.

Plans to return to Italy once the NFL season is over have also been a hot topic of conversation.

We disclosed how Travis was gifted a day racing around the iconic Monza F1 track by Taylor, who turned 35 on Friday.

As revealed by The U.S Sun, the two are also eyeing a love nest in beautiful Lake Como.

BREAK-IN RELIEF

The couple will also revel in putting an emotional few weeks behind them after the shock break-in at Travis’ sprawling property in Leawood, Kansas.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his teammate, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, became victims of a “transnational crime ring,” according to the NFL, when their upscale homes were burglarized within hours of each other.

The U.S. Sun revealed that Kelce reportedly suffered losses exceeding $100,000, including valuable jewelry, his first Super Bowl jersey, designer clothing, and $20,000 in cash. The burglars spent less than 15 minutes inside his mansion, indicating a meticulously planned operation.

Fortunately, Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor, escaped unscathed, with none of her belongings taken.

Meanwhile, Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, were not as lucky. Along with personal keepsakes belonging to the quarterback, Brittany’s designer handbags and jewelry collection were also stolen.

“Travis is the one that now has the busiest schedule of the two of them,” smiled the insider. “But she is happy they will spend time together, having nice dinners, relaxing, and baking. Christmas will be a special holiday for both of them.”

Kohl’s switches return policy just in time for Christmas – but another payment option gives shoppers an extension

KOHL’S has made a change to its returns policy just in time for Christmas but only some customers will be able to benefit from this.

Shopping for festive presents can be tricky but one payment option can give customers more time to take back any unwanted gifts.

The department store chain has extended its return window for shoppers using a specific card.

Customers using a Kohl’s Card will have 120 days to get their money back on items they don’t want.

The chain’s usual window is 90 days, giving people who use other forms of payment a month less to decide on their purchase.

Kohl’s will also extend this period of certain items bought after November 1.

People who buy electronics, watches, or beauty items will have up until January 31 to bring back these popular holiday gifts.

It means buying for family and friends has been made a lot less stressful.

Kohl’s haver not been the only chain to make this sort of change for its customers.

Sephora has also introduced an extended return policy for holiday shoppers.

Shoppers must take note of the strict cut-off date if they want to make the most of this extension.

Sephora says customers have until January 31, 2025, to bring back goods purchased between November 1 and December 1, 2024.

For anything purchased after December 1 though, the retailer’s usual return policy applies.

Proof of purchase will be required for all shoppers attempting to bring items back.

SHUT UP SHOP

Kohl’s recently confirmed it would wave goodbye to one of its locations after 20 years.

This could throw people’s holiday plans into crisis as this branch will be gone soon.

Kohl’s will shutter the doors of its Herdon, Virginia, spot on January 18, 2025, 20 years after it first opened.

Fans shared their heartbreak on a Facebook page.

“Thank you to the staff, I have always received good customer service. Best of luck,” one person wrote.

“I remember when it was Caldor converting to Kohls in late 90s,” another person posted.

US braces for '45,000 store closures'

Some 45,000 bricks-and-mortar stores could close in the next five years, experts have warned.

five years, experts have warned.

Several major retailers have announced store closures or gone out of business altogether in recent years.

Chains such as Foot Locker, Sally Beauty, Tuesday Morning, Shore City, Z Gallerie, and Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams have all gone out of business.

Bed Bath & Beyond has closed all of its brick-and-mortar stores and is now an online-only retailer.

The most affected retailers have been clothing, consumer electronics, sporting goods, hobby, book, music, and home furnishing stores since the start of 2019.

UBS has predicted the total number of retail stores will drop by 45k from 958k to 913k.

Despite that, the report says that certain stores should thrive while others decline.

It said retailers such as Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, and Target, could be among the winners.

NFL makes final punishment decision on Kansas City Chiefs star with huge $45k fine for dangerous act

THE NFL has dished out a $45,000 fine from the Kansas City Chiefs’ win last weekend.

The Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers in the Sunday prime time showdown in Week 14.

The Kansas City Chiefs running back has missed a lot of 2024 through injury[/caption]

Kansas City edged to a 19-17 victory in a low-scoring thriller to improve to 12-1.

Running back Isiah Pacheco had 14 carries for 55 yards in a bruising, physical divisional showdown.

And one play during the game resulted in a huge fine for Pacheco.

During the second quarter, he caught a swing pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes with the Chiefs backed up.

Pacheco grabbed hold of the pass in the flat to the right and was met by a Chargers defender.

The rusher lowered his head and hit defensive back Kristian Fulton with his helmet before being pushed out of bounds.

And that act has landed him in hot water.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero announced on X on Saturday, “The NFL fined Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco $45,020 for unnecessary roughness (use of the helmet) on this play last week.

“No flag was thrown,” he also noted.

Pacheco, 25, became a key part of the Chiefs offence in their Super Bowl run last year with his physical style.

But he was too physical on this occasion and handed a $45,000 fine by the league.

Pacheco is eager to make up for lost time having spent a large part of the 2024 season in injured reserve.

He fractured his foot in Week 2 and only returned on Black Friday.

Sunday’s game against the Chargers was only his fourth of the season as a result.

Head coach Andy Reid admitted he held Pacheco back until he was convinced the running back was 100 per cent healthy.

He has 55 carries for 234 yards and a touchdown in his four games this year.

And Kansas City is playing the long game with Pacheco’s health to keep him fresh for the playoffs.

The Chiefs are looking to become the first team ever to win three straight Super Bowls.

They brought back former running back Kareem Hunt to lead the backfield while Pacheco dealt with injury.

And Kansas City has Marquise Brown almost ready to return from injury in the receiving game.
