MANCHESTER UNITED ace Joshua Zirkzee was praised by fans after his classy response to an Instagram clip that was ripping into him.
Zirkzee, 23, joined United in the summer after a £36.5million deal with Bologna where he stood out last season with 12 goals and seven assists in 37 appearances.

The striker had a strong start with the Red Devils as he scored the winner in a 1-0 win over Fulham on his debut in August at Old Trafford.
However, the Netherlands international has been unable to build momentum in his next 10 games across all competitions after his impressive bow.
That has led to criticism across social media amid United‘s worst ever Premier League start.
A channel satirised Zirkzee‘s positioning on the pitch with a clip on Instagram.
One of the content creators pretended to be the Dutchman and was shown being unable to play at No9 as he instead opted for a deeper role in midfield or down the wing.
Zirkzee caught wind of the parody clip and won over a lot of fans by being a good sport and simply “liking” the video.
Fans stormed the comments section and praised the centre-forward’s strong character, while some predicted he will soon silence his critics and trolls.
One fan tweeted: “He might have a better sense of humour than most of your bunch.”

Another commented: “Zirkzee is unstoppable.”
A third wrote: “Zirkzee is fantabulous.”
This one said: “His redemption arc is loading.”
And that one stated: “He’s scoring on Thursday [in the Europa League at Fenerbahce], watch.”
Zirkzee only spent 16 minutes on the pitch during Saturday’s 2-1 win over Brentford at Old Trafford.
Stats showed that the forward did float around the Bees’ half and at times was caught deeper than the No9 position, but his career so far shows that he was actually playing to his strengths.
The ex-Bayern Munich ace previously revealed that he occasionally drops down to midfield and thus considers himself more of a “9.5”.
Zirkzee said: “I occasionally drop down to midfield. I don’t do that for myself but to help the team.
“I am what I call a false striker. Not a No 9, not a No 10. I am a 9.5! That’s my game.
“Maybe I’m a little different than others. But being different is good, right?”
NOA-LYNN VAN LEUVEN has opened up on the humiliation she has felt while competing this year.
The Dutch star, 28, is set to become the first transgender player to compete at the PDC World Darts Championship when it gets underway in December.
Darts remains one of the few sports in which men and women are allowed to compete against each other.
Van Leuven qualified for Alexandra Palace due to her exploits at the PDC Women’s Series, in which she finished as runner-up.
After Van Leuven lost a previous contest against Lorraine King, the assembled crowd broke out into passionate applause.
Reliving the moment while talking to Dutch outlet NU, she said: “That was so humiliating.
“I thought: now I lose and it’s still not good. Actually, I always lose, whether I win or not.”
While Van Leuven has had support from some of her younger darts colleagues, others have made things difficult.
Her Dutch compatriots Anca Zijlstra and Aileen de Graaf have both refused to play for their national team if Van Leuven is in the squad.
While English player Deta Hedman has at times refused to face Van Leuven.

Van Leuven recently won gold with the Dutch team and in the pairs tournament at the WDF World Cup.
But ahead of the competition, a members’ meeting took place and decided that trans women would no longer be welcome at WDF events.
It is not yet known when the ruling will come into effect.
On some of the reaction towards her, Van Leuven said: “They secretly tell me that they don’t understand the commotion.
“But there are a lot of conservative, toxic b****** on the women’s tour.
“They see me as a threat.”
The PDC make a point of switching off comments when posting about Van Leuven on X.
On the online abuse she has received, Van Leuven added: “People send the most terrible messages and then go on preparing their pasta.
“They have no idea the impact it has on my life.
“I didn’t dare go out on the street for several weeks and had panic attacks. It did take a while for that fear to go away.”
However, Van Leuven has also revealed she has had some far more welcome feedback following her qualification for the World Championships.
She said: “I have already received invitations from three or four talk shows, but I don’t know yet what I will do with them.
“I was surprised by the many positive messages I received, though. My WhatsApp and Instagram exploded, but the first messages I read were very positive. Then I still thought: wow, maybe it will be something someday.”
THE Los Angeles Dodgers are back in the World Series this year, and LA wants fans to walk to the game.
That’s right, one of the most un-walkable cities in the country thinks fans can walk to and from Los Angeles Dodgers games.
Metro, LA’s transit agency, posted a video on Facebook giving fans instructions on how they can walk to the stadium from the closest Metro station.
“Yes you can! (walk to Metro rail after Dodgers games),” the caption of the video reads.
The video shows satellite images of Dodger Stadium and the surrounding areas, and creates a blue line marking the route fans should take.
In the video, a voiceover explains that a fan can walk from a bleacher seat to the Chinatown A Line stop in just 25 minutes.
However, the route includes multiple crosswalks, changes of directions, and even a highway to get to the station.
To start, the route has fans making their way through the massive parking lots that surround Dodger Stadium before getting to any walkways.
That involves traversing a minefield of cars trying to escape the rush hour traffic that inflates when Dodgers games get out. This part of the route has no sidewalk for fans to walk on.
After navigating through the parking lot, fans make their way to a crosswalk with no traffic light before having to funnel into a narrow pedestrian bridge to get across a freeway.
Once that segment of the walk is complete, fans still have a long walk through LA to get into Chinatown and make it to the Metro station.
Much of the walk doesn’t have any lighting or protection from traffic, and none of it is wheelchair accessable.
The one thing the video boasts of the route is that “It’s all downhill!”
While Metro claims the walk takes only 25 minutes, with pedestrian traffic and the walk being over a mile in distance, it could probably take upwards of an hour to get to the Metro station.
Many fans were quick to point out how the walk isn’t the best option for them to get home, and shared in the comments of the video.
“Looks like a video game where you’re trying to stay alive,” one fan said.
“That is not practical,” another fan said.
“Haha I wouldn’t even drive that and feel safe,” a third fan said.
“Just because you CAN do something doesn’t mean you should,” a fourth fan said.
The walking route is a strange thing for Metro to promote because they already have pedestrian-friendly options for Dodgers fans.
A bus line called the Dodger Stadium Express is free for fans with tickets to that day’s game. The bus leaves from Union Station, the major transit hub in downtown LA.
However, Metro claims the line is too popular at this point and congestion has caused major delays.
In response, the Metro board approved a $500 million gondola to carry fans from Chinatown to Dodger Stadium.
That project likely won’t be completed until 2028.
