MAFS’ Holly tries to cash in hundreds selling wedding dress on Vinted – but she’s already been forced to slash the price

SHE’S hitting headlines for her behaviour on Married At First Sight UK.

And now Holly Ditchfield appears to be feeling the effects of being embroiled in a bullying row, and has been forced to slash the price of her wedding dress on Vinted.

But she’s already been forced to drop the price to £700[/caption]

Holly originally listed the strapless white wedding dress on the second hand marketplace for £800 two weeks ago.

“Worn once!! Immaculate condition,” she wrote.

“Paid extra for the silver belt to be sewn onto the dress.

“Paid £1500”.

She described the size 12 dress as being in “very good” condition, and shared snaps of herself in the gown while tying the knot with groom Alex Henry on the TV show.

However, Holly has decided to try and get at least some of her money back by dropping the price of the dress to just £700.

“£700 till Friday! (will deliver or collection is available if local) to save delivery rates,” the Huddersfield-based bride added in the product description.

Holly has faced backlash from MAFS viewers over her treatment of fellow bride Hannah Norburn.

She took issue with the fact that Hannah – who was unsuccessful while trying to get back on good terms with husband Stephen – had called her husband Alex her “favourite groom”.

Viewers watched as Holly teamed up with best pal Polly Sellman to launch a scathing attack on Hannah on a girls’ day during a retreat.

But when she was accused of “ganging up” on Hannah, Holly hit back on social media as she wrote: “I never ganged up with anybody.

“I was stating how I felt as I wasn’t in a position to see Hannah until the girls day.

“So when I did want to speak to her it turned out more than one person had an issue I had my own disagreement.”

She also insisted she had “no intention” for things to get heated, but added: “Unfortunately some people don’t like being on the receiving end of their behaviour so it became a back and forth conversation”.

There was a dinner party after the girls’ day, with Holly causing controversy once again as she commented “Look what the cat’s dragged in” as Hannah entered the room.

Her savage remark even shocked the experts and branded it “unkind”.

Which of the MAFS UK 2024 couples are still together?

AS per the NDA's attached with the show, brides and grooms are banned from revealing anything about the current status of their relationships.

However, there have been a few things let slip, which have acted as spoilers for viewers of the show.

It was recently revealed that Ross McCarthy, who had been a favourite alongside wife Sacha Jones, had dumped his blonde wife just two weeks after filming, leaving her blindsided in the process.

It has also been reported that Hannah Norburn cheated on her husband Stephen Nolson – with another groom.

She had a secret affair with Orson Nurse behind his wife Richelle’s back.

Rumours are that there’s just one couple still together from the 2024 cast, but this won’t be confirmed until the season finale.

It’s believed that the programme will conclude on 14 November.

But asked if she has any regrets over the way she acted, Holly replied: “I wouldn’t change nothing in my life, you live and you learn.

“I would have just liked to have been able to have that conversation with her before the girls’ day.”

It remains to be seen whether or not Holly and husband Alex can weather the storm, as it’s just the latest in a long line of issues for the couple.

They have previously been seen butting heads over ridiculous issues, with things often exploding into shouting matches.

But in a chat with the experts, Holly admitted she’s so afraid of how Alex will react that she often doesn’t bring things up until they’re in public and around other people.

Holly isn’t the only MAFS UK bride from this year to try and flog her wedding dress on Vinted.

Polly – the main person involved in the Hannah bullying scandal – has also listed hers for £1,600.

She said the size 16 Justin Alexander dress “has been altered to size and can be altered again”.

Viewers called for Polly to be axed from the show after she issued a threat to Hannah, telling her: “Don’t start getting muggy.

“Do not start speaking to people like that. The last thing you want to do is get brave.”

Following the backlash, Polly said in a statement on her social media: “I am absolutely not defending any behaviour from last night despite the things Hannah said and done, because it was to be quite frank, disgusting.

“I’ll apologise for the delivery but not what was said.”

Another bride Amy Kenyon, another late contender on the show, has been supporting Hannah during the scandal, alongside her husband Luke Debono.

But Amy has also listed her wedding dress on Vinted, for an optimistic £2,000.

Shocking moment randy sex-pest dolphin ATTACKS swimmer who is ‘lucky to be alive’ after latest romp rampage

THIS is the shocking moment a helpless swimmer is attacked by a randy sex-pest dolphin in the sea.

Takuma Goto is the latest victim of Japan‘s recent dolphin rampage with the 23-year-old saying he believed he was “going to die” after he was assaulted and left seriously injured.

Goto suffered major bite marks all across his body with the worst being a bloody gash to his finger which left him hospitalised and needing five stitches.

He also had nasty marks on his left wrist, forearm and right hand.

Goto had been swimming at Crystal Beach in the town of Tsuruga with his pals when they were approached by a lone dolphin in the water.

At first the men thought the sea beast was just looking for a back-rub and expected a happy encounter.

But moments after they first approached the dolphin it suddenly snapped and first lunged at Goto’s friend.

The 23-year-old financial salesman says he heard his pal cry as the dolphin grabbed a hold of him before he went for Goto.

Describing the horror attack Goto said: “I knew it was not a shark, but it came straight at me.

“It attacked me and bit me. It kept attacking me and I genuinely believed that I was going to die.

“I was most worried that I was going to be dragged under the water and further out to sea.”

Terrified crowds watched on as Goto continued to be savaged just 65ft from the beach.

A brave surfer finally rescued the wounded men where they were rushed to hospital.

Goto revealed he felt the insides of his finger popping out after the dolphin almost severed it off.

He says the attack has made him want to “never go back” in the water.

Inside Japan’s most dangerous dolphin

Local authorities across Japanese beaches have been urging swimmers to take care when in the water after a spate of horror dolphin attacks this summer.

Experts believe many of the randy strikes could be linked back to one dolphin named Suzu.

They have already blamed Suzu for a worrying 18 attacks this year alone.

It remains unclear if Suzu was responsible for harming Goto.

Beachgoers have been warned of the sex pests with signs being put up across Japanese tourist hotspots[/caption]

The sex pest dolphin is known for chasing and terrorising beachgoers in an attempt to play with them before trying to make love.

Beaches are desperately warning holidaymakers about the dolphin who pops up out of nowhere and sources his victims as they swim.

Suzu the bottlenose has caused various injuries from attempting to force close encounters with humans.

Last week alone the sex pest was responsible for two attacks that resulted in one man horrifically losing his fingertip.

Signs have been put up along the coast warning tourists to escape the water if they see a dolphin – or more specifically, Suzu in the Fukui prefecture, north east of Kyoto.

Suzu’s sex pest work has blown experts away as he alone was responsible for at least 21 attacks in 2022 and nine last year.

Due to Suzu’s constant physical state of arousal, biologists say it is clear that this is typical dolphin mating behaviour.

With the attacks continuing to rise some say the only option is to catch Suzu and put him down.

But killing dolphins is banned by municipal ordnance in the Fukui prefecture – where Suzu typically lives meaning he can’t be killed.

Why are dolphins attacking swimmers off Japan?

THE dramatic rise in dolphin attacks across the past few years has left experts debating over the likely cause of this sharp rise.

Biologists are constantly questioning what could trigger the animals such as Suzu and spark their irrational behaviour.

One heartbreaking reason could be that the sex-crazed creatures are simply lonely.

Dolphins tend to swim in groups, or pods, whereas some like Suzu are solo travellers.

Some believe that dolphins will interact with humans in order to try and find a mate but will turn aggressive when aroused.

Another reason for the randy tenancies could be an overexposure to humans, cetologist Professor Tadamichi Morisaka has argued.

Divers often swim with dolphins they discover but when they leave the water the animals continue to want that playtime.

This means they will approach people uninvited and may play too rough.

Eerie ‘human face’ found buried in sand on Mars in latest mysterious discovery on Red Planet

WHAT looks like a grisly, sun-scorched human face has been found half-buried in the sand on Mars by Nasa’s Perseverance rover.

An image taken by the rover in September shows a sandy face with a large brow bone, nostrils and a sad-sloping mouth.

Although it may look like the remains of a decapitated head, it is actually a rock.

Experts believe the face is just another hunk of sedimentary sandstone, a leftover from the planet’s water-rich past.

It’s unusual shape suggestions it was affected by water erosion when rivers used to flow on the Martian surface roughly 3.8billion years ago.

The rock has triggered a psychological phenomenon called face pareidolia.

Face pareidolia is the tendency to see human facial features in inanimate, or lifeless objects.

In 1976, the same phenomena birthed the famous ‘Face on Mars’ image, taken by the American Viking 1 Orbiter.

At the time, Nasa released a statement saying one of several Martian formations in the Cydonia region “resembles a human head”.

It was merely an optical illusion caused by the way sunlight hit the formations, resulting in shadows that gave impressions of eyes and a mouth.

Perseverance found the rock on a flat sandy plane above the deep sloping sides of the 1,000metre-deep crater in August[/caption]

‘Zebra rock’

Nasa has been exploring Mars from afar for decades.

The Red Planet is blanketed with sand, rocks, ice, dust, clouds, craters and holes.

Every so often, bizarre discoveries like a mysterious “doorway” or “spaghetti monster” will take the internet by storm – before quickly being debunked by experts.

Yet, one recent rocky discovery has caused intrigue, with the US space agency stating it is “unlike any” debris seen on Mars before.

The object of this fascination is a black and white striped rock, dubbed ‘Freya Castle’ or “zebra rock”.

The loose stone was found in the Jezero Crater, where scientists believe they have the best chance of finding remnants of ancient alien life.

Perseverance, which has been roaming Mars since July 2020, found the rock on a flat sandy plane above the deep sloping sides of the 1,000metre-deep crater in August.

The Jezero Crater is thought to be what’s left of an ancient lake.

“While driving across unremarkable pebbly terrain, beady-eyed team members spotted a cobble in the distance with hints of an unusual texture in low resolution Navcam images, and gave it the name ‘Freya Castle’,” Nasa wrote in a statement.

The team planned a multispectral observation, a picture that shows beyond what the human eye can see, including infrared and ultraviolet light, using the Mastcam-Z camera.

“When these data were downlinked a couple days later, after Perseverance had already left the area, it became clear just how unusual it was,” Nasa added.

“The internet immediately lit up with speculation about what this “zebra rock” might be, and we’ve enjoyed reading your theories!”

The stone, about 20cm in size, is unlikely to have originated from the area in which it was found, with experts suggesting it could have rolled downhill from a source higher up.

“This possibility has us excited, and we hope that as we continue to drive uphill, Perseverance will encounter an outcrop of this new rock type so that more detailed measurements can be acquired,” the team concluded.

“Could these be our first glimpses at ancient rocks uplifted from depth by the Jezero impact, now exposed on the crater rim? Only time will tell…”

Ferrari dealer sues customer who sold new car saying they ‘violated sales agreement’ over overlooked fine print

FERRARI have sued a customer after they flipped one of their recently released models – in violation of a prior sales agreement.

A buyer of the new Ferrari Purosangue will likely be forced to cough up the profit he’s made on the sale after the famous marque banned him from selling it inside the first 18 months of ownership.

A Houston-based dealership say the Ferrari owner was banned from selling the vehicle inside the first 18 months of ownership[/caption]

The ultra-exclusive Purosangue, which is the Italian brand’s first production four-door model and their first four-seater since the GTC4Lusso, is currently their best-selling vehicle and is sold out until 2026.

The high-performance SUV – which is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine, capable of 725 bhp and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds – has been likened to the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and the Lamborghini Urus.

In the US, the Purosangue’s starting price is an eye-watering $429,000, although Auto Evolution states it can go well above $900,000 for a top-of-the-range model.

Only 2,200 to 3,000 examples are being built a year, making it hot property on the used car market.

To combat this, Ferrari imposed a strict purchase clause, banning all customers from selling their Purosangue models inside the first 18 months of ownership.

But according to Club Alfa, gearhead Todd Carlson decided to ignore this restriction and sold off his recently purchased Purosangue – much to the fury of the Houston-based dealer where he bought it from.

Carlson was reportedly informed about the violation and has had a lawsuit filed against him for breach of contract at the Harris County District Court.

It states that the Opportunity Agreement that Carlson signed when he placed a deposit on his Purosangue indicates that Ferarri of Houston had first refusal on the car in the first 18 months after purchase.

To put it plainly, Carlson was not allowed to sell the Ferrari model, which he bought in June 2024, to anybody else except Ferrari until December 2025 – with dealership holding the right to repurchase it back at the original price.

By ignoring the contract stipulation, it seems he is now liable to pay Ferrari of Houston any profit he made on its sale.

This isn’t the first time a car brand has banned customers from flipping their newly released and exclusive vehicles.

In the past, the likes of Rolls-Royce and Ford have threatened not to immediately try to re-sell certain models in an attempt to protect the brand’s enthusiasts.

Tesla also made headlines last year after the release of the Cybertruck, with the Elon Musk-owned car maqrue threatening anyone who attempted to flip the electric pickup truck for a quick profit with a hefty fine.

According to the purchase contract, anyone caught trying to sell their Cybertruck without the sale first being approved by Tesla will have to pay a $50,000 fine, or the value received as consideration for the sale or transfer, whichever is greater.

Elsewhere, Ferrari recently launched their most powerful car ever – a hybrid hypercar that will serve as the long-awaited successor to the legendary LaFerrari.

The F80, described as a “beautiful spaceship” has been unveiled by the famous brand just weeks after McLaren revealed the W1, reigniting the two manufacturers’ long–running rivalry.

Named to celebrate Ferrari’s 80th anniversary, although slightly prematurely as they only celebrated their 75th in 2022, the F80 follows in the tire tracks of the F40 and F50 models for their respective milestones.

The army of bots can be seen inspecting BYD cars as they are being built and carrying heavy boxes around the giant warehouses – with no humans in sight.

Chinese industrial giant UBTech has designed the robots to specialise in manual labour so they can be used in the workplace.

UBTech has already received over 500 orders for the humanoids, reports Interesting Engineering.

With the major robot roll-out set to fix China’s manufacturing labour shortage.

Car-making companies in the Far East are projected to face a worrying shortage of around 30 million workers by 2025, according to a 2017 report by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

Meaning many feel the introduction of robots will be a quick fix to the ever-growing problem as they can be programmed to work in the huge warehouses.

Many global companies are also looking to streamline their operations by introducing a robotic workforce.

They hope to see a more efficient workday which is affected much less by human error, injuries and even days off.

UBTech – China’s leading robot manufacturers – are said to be looking to reduce human labour in factories to just 10 per cent in the future.

UBTech’s chief brand officer, Tan Min, says this will allow humans to focus on the more difficult tasks such as planning, collaboration and tool management.

Inside the Walker S1 robots

The UBTech Walker S1 is the latest humanoid robot to be unveiled in recent years.

Designed to replace people in manual labour workplaces the bots stand at an impressive 5ft 6in and weigh a hefty 76kg.

Each one is designed to handle a number of tasks typically undertaken inside a factory.

This includes visual quality inspections, carrying heavy equipment, tightening screws and even assembling and sorting.

Prototype footage released by UBTech shows the robots carrying 16.3kg boxes on a treadmill.

Other eerie clips demonstrate how they can bend over and grab onto shipments before transporting them across buildings.

They are programmed to understand the intention behind various tasks and have the correct set up to carry them out efficiently.

Along with the 500 bots shipped to BYD, the Walker S1 tech has also been ordered by state-owned Dongfeng Motor, FAW-Volkswagen, and Geely.

UBTech is the first company in the world to launch mass-scale robot operations, say South China Morning Post.

They hope to have a successful run inside Chinese warehouses before taking the robot workforce global in a few years time.

Elon Musk is also vying to be the first to crack global robot workers through his creepy faceless Optimus bots.

The tech billionaire is due to unleash the humanoids into his Tesla factories next year before they’re made available to other companies in 2026.

Musk boasts that they can do almost anything including babysit children, walk a dog, mow lawns, get the groceries or be a friend.

In footage shared online, the faceless bot, dubbed an “autonomous assistant” or a “humanoid friend” by Tesla, can be seen picking up a parcel at the doorstep.

Before going on to water plants as a human family enjoys their time together.

It can then be seen joining in on the fun and playing games with a dad and his children before it goes on to help mum in the kitchen.

They have been labelled “personal R2-D2 [or] C3-PO’s”.

Shoppers in line for check worth up to $3.3k as part of data breach settlement… just a bank statement needed to get cash

SHOPPERS are in line for a check worth up to $3,257.50 as part of a data breach settlement and all they need is a bank statement to collect it.

Heating company Honeywell faced a class action lawsuit after it was alleged to have failed to protect consumers from a cyberattack.

People who now apply for the payout can potentially claim $3,257.50[/caption]

Honeywell designs and manufactures smart home products such as thermostats, air purifiers, and security products.

But Hackers were reportedly able to steal consumer information from the company through a vulnerability in a third-part file sharing tool, Top Class Actions reported.

A data breach class action lawsuit was subsequently brought against the company.

Honeywell hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing, but did agree to pay out an undisclosed sum to resolve the lawsuit with plaintiffs.

Now, some customers affected could be payed out $3,257.50 – with $2,750 for those facing extraordinary damages, $82.50 for lost time, and $425 for ordinary damages.

Extraordinary damages are where customers have faced fraud or identity theft from the use of their data stolen in the hack.

Ordinary damages are data breach losses, such as bank fees, communication charges, credit expenses, and more that many affected would have had to deal with.

As proof, claimants need to provide documentation of data breach-related expenses.

These include bank statements, phone bills, postage receipts, gas receipts, invoices and credit reports.

The cash is available for anyone who received a data breach notification between June 2023 and September 2023.

The data theft is thought to have happened in June 2023.

Anyone who did not previously enrol for the credit monitoring services by Honeywell are able to do so now.

But they will need to hurry as to get into the settlement they have a deadline of October 24.

And Americans could also get up to £4,400 as part of a bank settlement as Green Valley looks to resolve its own data breach.

According to the plaintiffs, Green Valley failed to protect their information from a data breach in May 2022 that compromised their personal information.

Meanwhile the deadline looms for Americans to claim a chunk of a $115 million payout due to privacy concerns.

It comes after a class action lawsuit was filed against cloud applications provider Oracle America, Inc. in California in 2023.

The complaint alleges that the company illegally collected personal information and sold it to third parties for advertising purposes.

“Oracle improperly captured, compiled, and sold individuals’ online
and offline data to third parties without obtaining their consent,” the class action notice claims.

Web activity, purchases made online, geolocation and other personal information were reportedly collected and sold by the company.

What's a class-action settlement?

Class action lawsuits offer groups of people, or 'classes,' a way to band together in court.

These suits are often brought by one or a few people who allege a company or other entity has wronged a large group of people.

When a suit becomes a class action, it extends to all “class members,” or people who may have similar complaints to those who filed the suit.

Companies often settle class actions – offering payment to class members who typically waive their right to pursue further legal action by accepting money.

These payout agreements frequently include statements by the defendant denying wrongdoing. Companies tend to settle class actions to avoid the costs of further litigation.

Pollution, discrimination, or false advertising are a few examples of what can land a class action on a company’s doorstep.
