Harris Says Trump’s Behavior ‘Demeans’ the Presidency After Vulgar Remarks

In an interview on Sunday with the Rev. Al Sharpton, Vice President Kamala Harris responded to a profanity-laden insult that former President Donald J. Trump used about her tenure as vice president, saying he had “not earned the right” to hold office again. “The American people deserve so much better,” she told Mr. Sharpton on […]

Watch the moment Big Brother’s Ali finally confronts Marcello over vulgar comments in tense exchange

BIG Brother’s Ali was left locked in a VERY heated exchange with co-star Marcello as she called out his ‘inappropriate’ comments.

The star was left seething with Marcello as he made a series of sexual comments in front of the entire group as they were gathered around the sofas.

Ali confronted him about his vulgar comments

As he discussed his sexual habits and what he would be willing to get up to inside the walls of the famous ITV2 house, Ali told him to stop speaking about inappropriate things whilst they were all forced to sit in one place.

It comes after fans of the show were left fuming with Marcello as they called him out on social media.

It seemed no one in the house had appeared to address the comments until now but Ali has finally spoken out.

She demanded Marcello stop talking in graphic detail about the topic and insisted it could get her “struck off” from her psychologist job if she was seen to be listening in to a conversation about sexual habits.

It created a frosty atmosphere as the pair sparred back and forth as many of the other housemates looked around surprised at the sudden confrontation.

Later on, Marcello admitted he was “p***ed off” with Ali and decided to chat to her in the garden where Ali admitted she felt like she was being “told off”.

As part of the conversation, Marcello said: “What was that about over there?

“I’m having an honest conversation about a real thing in here and you’re silencing it and making it awkward and embarrassing for me.

“If you feel that way, pull me up after – that’s made to me!

Defensively, Ali remarked: “It’s mad to me that you think you have a right to pull me and tell me off.

“The way that you speak and the conversations that you start sometimes are vulgar and not everyone is going to enjoy them.”

As Marcello attempted to butt in, Ali quickly shot him down once again as she questioned if he really “had the right” to be having this confrontation with her.

She later added to him: “You were not having an adult, normal, sensible conversation… you were talking about all sorts of things in quite graphic detail that I did not want to listen too.

“Don’t subject people who don’t want to listen to it to those sorts of conversations.”

Marcello told her that she “had to let people speak” as it was not “reality” to control a conversations during their heated and seemingly unresolved argument.

Last week, Ofcom confirmed they had received a number of complaints from Big Brother viewers about Marcello’s words.

Viewers stayed true to their word and contacted the broadcasting watchdog shortly after calling for his eviction earlier this week.

Youth worker Marcello caused recent outrage with his comment about showers, when some of the girls said they planned to wash with wet wipes instead.

He bluntly refused to clean and said: “Men are supposed to be stinking” in a remark which understandably caused a stir online.

Big Brother viewers were also irked when the east London lad falsely claimed he had shared a “kiss” with Ali.

Now Ofcom has confirmed 72 complaints were made about the October 11 episode in particular.

They stated comments “related to Marcello’s behaviour and his alleged misogynistic comments.”

He was also called out for asking co-star Sarah if she was “on her period” due to her sullen mood in yet another slip-up.

One person raged this week: “Please get this sexist t*** out of the house bro wyd.”

A second added: “The misogynist continues..He needs told to shut the f*** up.”

Strictly fans beg show bosses to make major change after Karen Hauer crashes out of competition with Paul Merson

STRICTLY pro Karen Hauer’s time on the BBC show has been cut short for yet another year, after being voted off the dance competition with her partner Paul Merson.

The pair found them in the dance off, performing their Samba and going head to head with JB and Amy Dowden, whom the judges chose to save.

But fans felt they brought the entertainment to the show which is now missing something[/caption]

But now die-hard fans of Karen are concerned that the 42-year-old who first joined the show in 2012, is in danger of quitting, after being continually paired with the least popular contestants.

Writing on social media site X, one person wrote: “I really hope this year isn’t Karen’s last series on Strictly, She’s the longest serving female pro, who has danced with a variety of celebs both men and women, Jayde Adams but has never one. 2025 needs to be her year to win.”

And another fan commented: “Actually loved Paul and karen plz strictly give Karen a contender next year she’s never looked soo happy being a part of the show as of right now.”

Meanwhile, someone else commented on how the show has lost its entertainment value, now that Karen and Paul have gone.

They said: “Paul Merson gave it his all in that dance-off, will be sad not to have him and Karen entertaining everyone each week.”

In a shocking dance-off, Paul found himself against JLS star JB Gill and his professional partner Amy Dowden.

Fans and the judges alike were left gasping when it was revealed that JB, arguably one of the stronger dancers on the programme, would have to dance again for his place in the contest.

It meant that Paul’s fate was seemingly sealed, having previously been forced into a dance-off alongside Toyah Wilcox.

Former footballer, Paul and Karen performed their routine, a Samba to Car Wash by Rose Royce, but it wasn’t enough to win over the panel.

All four judges revealed they were in agreement in choosing to keep JB and axe sports star Paul following the dance-off.

As Craig Revel HorwoodMotsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke all agreed to save JB, Shirley Ballas‘ vote was not required but she admitted to show host Tess Daly that she would have also chosen to save JB.

As the news began to settle on their exit, Paul told Tess: “It’s been really good.

“For anybody I talk to, I would say you’ve got to go on this show. It’s amazing – everybody.

He went onto add of his pro partner Karen: “She’s been amazing, absolutely amazing and I couldn’t wish for a better coach. I’ve loved every minute of it.

Venezuelan-American dancer Karen is a fan favourite and having starred on the show for 12 years, many would be happy to see her shine on the competition.

Having competed on the US show, So You Think You can Dance, Karen joined Strictly in 2012 and was partnered with Westlife star Nicky Byrne.

Throughout her time on the show she has been partnered with some of the biggest stars in Britain including, the late Dave Myers, broadcaster Jeremy Vine, pop star Will Young and Radio DJ Mark Wright.

Her most successful pairing was with Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing in 2020, with whom she made the final, finishing in second place and Mark Wright back in 2014, finishing in forth.

But like Anton Du Beke who starred on the show since the beginning in 2004, rising from stalwart professional to revered Strictly judge in 2021, Karen’s longevity suggests that she is valued behind the scenes.

Numerous professional dancers have come and gone over the years, before disappearing out of the news cycle, but Karen remains relevant, standing firm in the Strictly frame.

Perhaps after yet another disappointing run, next year, producers will consider giving her a partner who has a fighting chance of winning the show.

Karen Hauer's Strictly Journey

Karen Hauer is the show's longest-serving professional, who has come within inches of the glitterball. But after a few years of leaving mid way through the competition, fans are hoping next year will be her turn to shine. So who have her partners been so far?

2012- Westlife star Nicky Byrne- 6th place

2013- TV chef Dave Myers- 10th place

2014- Radio DJ Mark Wright- 4th place

2015 Broadcaster Jeremy Vine- 9th place

2016- Will Young- 13th place- (Will pulled out of the show early)

2017- Chef Simon Rimmer- 11th place

2018- Actor Charles Venn- 6th place

2019- Comedian Chris Ramsay- 4th place

2020- Radio presenter Jamie Laing- 2nd place

2021- Actor Greg Wise- 12th place

2022- Comedian Jayde Adams- 12th place

2023- Eddie Kadi- 12th place

2024- Paul Merson 12th place

I won a life-changing £200,000 in the lottery – I thought it was just £30k so I was in shock when I saw the cheque

A LOTTERY winner has been left in “shock” after underestimating the incredible Postcode Lottery prize that he had just bagged.

George Mounsey, one of the winners from Derbyshire, received “unbelievable” news after discovering the cheque value, thinking he had only received £30k.

After realising the true value of the winnings, George immediately asked: “When does this go in the bank”.

George with his partner, Margaret Blurton, has since considered investing in a caravan but has admitted their still too stunned to finalise any spending.

This is not the first luck the pair have received, after the couple rekindled their romance from when they were teenagers after an unlikely meet-cute in a supermarket.

Tragically, Margaret lost her son and daughter to cancer but admitted that her four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and rest of the family “will get better Christmas presents this year”.

George said: “We might even get a bigger turkey”.

He was not the only one in the winning group to underestimate the offering.

Paul Rowland, who works with the prison service national distribution centre, originally saw the number two on the cheque and assumed he had won £20,000.

Little did he know that there would be a long row of zeros waiting for him to cash in from the enveloped cheque.

Breaston has now been dubbed “millionaire street” with the three next-door neighbours all taking home an incredible £200,000 cheque after DE72 3BC bagged the lucky draw.

The total £1 million jackpot was shared out with an additional bungalow owner, Paul White, as well as another anonymous local.

Alison Browne, a freelance exam coordinator, described the win as “life-changing” and now plans to celebrate with her husband, Tim.

The pair hope to fulfil their lifelong goal of hopping on to the Orient Express as well as a trip to the Rockies in Canada.

Alison said: “Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would win this much.”

Tim has revealed he even hopes to treat his wife to a puppy that could keep their current Pointer, Finlay, company.

‘Disgusted’ Luke Littler knocked OUT of Czech Darts Open 2024 in semi-final as world champion Luke Humphries takes title

LUKE LITTLER was left “disgusted” as Luke Humphries dumped him out of the Czech Darts Open and romped to his TENTH title in just over a year.

The teen sensation could not stop the World No1 clinically winning their semi-final in Prague 7-4, before Humphries walloped Kim Huybrechts 8-1.

Littler couldn’t hide his frustration after defeat

Littler, 17, simply had no answer to old foe Humphries, who didn’t miss a double in the opening seven legs to lead 5-2.

However, The Nuke was still in with a shout of coming back until a messy ninth leg.

Both players made a hash of the checkouts, Littler blowing five chances to break the Humphries throw.

‘Cool Hand’ took out double one to extend his lead to 6-3 and then delivered  double 12 kill to knock out his big rival and friend.

Humphries ended with an average of 108 with an outstanding 53 per cent checkout success rate.

Sky Sports Commentator Dan Dawson said: “It was a stunningly high quality game.

“The World No1 has asserted his authority, Littler bows out with a tournament average of over 110.

“As you can see he is disgusted he has not completed one of the greatest Euro tour campaigns we’ve ever seen.”

Humphries went on to dismantle Belgium’s World No 38 Huybrechts to pick up the £30,000 top prize.

He said: “I think I played a solid game. When I played Ritchie Edhouse in my first game I felt good but I felt like I needed a spark.

“It kind of did happen today. I felt that spark again. I still want to change something, I still know there’s another level in me that can get better.

“Luke (Littler) was probably one of the fantastic players of the tournament. But I knew I could beat him. I’ve done it many times and I believed in myself.

“It’s a nice way to cap off what hasn’t been my best ProTour year.”

‘The Nuke’ had stormed through to the last four with a new Euro Tour average record of 116.51 average in beating Damon Heta 6-3.

He then gave Michael van Gerwen a 6-1 battering. The Dutch star’s 112.19 average was the highest losing average in Euro Tour history.

The Warrington whizkid hit six 180s – leaving MVG’s 112.19 average as the highest ever from a loser in the history of the PDC European Tour.

And the gobsmacked Dutchman took it in the best possible spirit.

Alongside a picture of himself playfully grabbing Littler’s neck, he posted on X: “This is not gonna happen again.

“Fantastic game by @LukeTheNuke180. What a talent. All the best.”

Littler’s Czech run came after he appeared to let slip by mistake that he had a new girlfriend.

He was gaming with friend ‘Angry Ginge’ when a female voice off camera said: “I’m gonna try and get some sleep because I am so tired.”

Angry Ginge pressed him on who it was – with Littler seeing the funny side but also sounding unhappy his possible secret might be out.
