Moment Hamas boss Sinwar flees into terror tunnel before Oct 7th attack as pics show underground liar with TV & supplies

INCREDIBLE footage shows the moment terror boss Yahya Sinwar fled into secret Gaza tunnels on the night before the October 7 attacks.

Accompanied by his children and wife, Sinwar can be seen moving back and forth while carrying essential supplies to prepare for a lavish stay in the underground lair.

For months following the deadly massacre in Israel that left more than 1,200 innocent people dead and saw hundreds being taken hostage in Gaza by Hamas brutes, Sinwar would hide inside the terror tunnels to evade assassination by the Israeli forces.

However, the Hamas chief’s time ran out when a trainee squad of Israeli commandos took him out inside a building in Rafah on October 17.

He was forced out of the tunnels as the IDF began raiding and destroying the underground tunnels.

The Israelis have now released declassified footage that shows Sinwar’s extensive preparation to live an underground life after waging a bloody war that has turned Gaza into rubbles.

In the three-minute-long video, Sinwar is ferrying large packs of water bottles, comfy pillows, and other supplies inside a narrow concrete tunnel.

His wife can be seen smiling briefly as she follows her terrorist husband inside the bunkers.

Another set of pictures released by the IDF shows inside the underground lair where Sinwar spent months hiding away from the world.

The sweet-toothed October 7 mastermind – found with a pack of Mentos mints in his combat fatigues when he was killed by the IDF – had his bunker stocked with his favourite Vimto soft drink.

A large TV was found mounted on the wall along with anchored fans, a few chairs – even a laundry line.

His private sleeping quarters also had a safe stacked with millions of pounds worth of Israeli shekels and US Dollars – and a selection of expensive colognes lined up on a bedside table.

The underground complex – believed to be the main living block for Sinwar and his family – also featured modern toilets and shower suites.

And its kitchen was stocked with plentiful food supplies – including United Nations relief agency UNRWA parcels intended to feed starving civilian families enduring daily peril above ground.

Sinwar’s bullet and shrapnel-riddled body was found with fake UNRWA identity papers after he was killed in a battle with an IDF patrol.

The agency – funded by Western taxes – has come under fire after several of its staff were found to have taken part in last year’s October masterminded by Sinwar.

Other images show a Hamas flag hanging on the wall along with a few books and other essential supplies to help sustain his stay throughout.

Sinwar lived a life of luxury even while hiding as Gaza continued to burn because of a war he started.

Rear Adm Hagari said the tunnel where Sinwar stayed was close to the underground passage where six Israeli hostages were held and later murdered in August.

He is believed to have used them as human shields.

Hagari added: “The leaders of the Hamas terrorist organization, whoever they are, do not care about the price that the people of Gaza pay. They use them only as human shields and are preoccupied solely with their survival.

“Sinwar was concerned first and foremost with himself and his own survival. An example of this is the cash he kept with him wherever he was.

“Sinwar lived and behaved like a wanted terrorist on the run.
and that’s how he ended his life.”

TERROR BOSS DEAD

Israeli troops struck a building with an airstrike on October 17 – killing three Hamas terrorists.

The building collapsed – and as troops picked through the rubble, they came across a corpse that reportedly “looked very much like” Sinwar.

Extensive DNA and dental tests later confirmed his identity.

His body is currently being held at a secret location by the Israeli forces.

Sinwar had his last humiliating moments sitting slumped over in an armchair in a bombed-out building in the Strip as he feebly tried to fight off an Israeli drone with a stick.

An autopsy revealed that Sinwar was likely wiped out by a long-range gunshot to the head – executed with sniper-like precision.

His corpse was also riddled with shrapnel fragments after a tank blasted the house he was in.

He was discovered by the troops armed with a flak jacket, 40,000 shekels ($10,731.63), and a firearm.

“He tried to escape and our forces eliminated him,” Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said during a televised briefing.

Graphic images shared online on appeared to show his dead body in the ruins of the struck building in Rafah, with a horrific head wound.

The pictured body appeared to have the same mole as Sinwar next to his left eye as well as similar earlobes and teeth.

Soldiers involved in the strike reportedly did not realise who they took out until they saw his corpse.

His death was later confirmed by foreign minister Israel Katz who said: “Mass murderer Yahya Sinwar, who was responsible for the massacre and atrocities of 7 October, was killed today by IDF soldiers.”

Katz dubbed Sinwar’s death a “great military and moral achievement for Israel”.

The army later released footage of Sinwar’s final moments, hunched over and wounded inside a bombed building in Gaza.

Netanyahu and top army officials have repeatedly vowed to take out Sinwar since October 7 last year.

Inside the twisted life of Yahya Sinwar

By Nick Parker, Foreign Editor

HIS life was saved twice by Israel – but the monster dubbed “The Hamas Bin Laden” repaid his sworn enemy by masterminding the October 7 horror.

Yahya Sinwar, 61, spent 22 years in an Israeli prison for terrorist murder and kidnap plots and spent every second honing his burning hatred for his captors.

His astonishing rise to the top of the Hamas terror tree came despite being sentenced to four life sentences in 1989 for planning the abduction and killing of two Israeli soldiers and the murder of four Palestinians he suspected of working with Israel.

The bearded beast’s life was first saved when he was cured of cancer by an operation in a prison.

Then in 2011 he was freed, among 1,026 others, in a prisoner exchange for a single Israeli soldier in a deal that has been damned by his thousands of victims ever since.

Sinwar taught himself Hebrew and became fluent during his multiple stints as a caged man.

He began reading and studying every Israeli newspaper to probe the weak spots in his enemy’s armour.

The terror master’s deep knowledge of what makes Israelis tick led him to realise the power of the hostage-taking tactic now traumatising the strife-torn Jewish nation.

Yet despite his blood lust and bravado, the Hamas commander “cried like a baby” when he learned he had cancer, his jailer Lieutenant Betty Lahat has revealed.

Walmart shoppers confused by employee’s ‘receipt comment’ after returning item and claim ‘it’s policy’

A WALMART shopper was left confused by a store employee’s bizarre comments about “throwing receipts away” while returning an item.

In a Reddit post, the user revealed how they were denied a receipt by the return department claiming “its store policy”.

“Does the return department take your receipt after you return an in-store item?” they wrote on Reddit.

“I returned a lotion bottle and vinegar once and the returns representative wouldn’t give me my receipt back even when I told her I wanted it back.

“She said that it’s Walmart policy and said she must throw it away. Is that true per Walmart in-store return?”

Fellow shoppers slammed Walmart’s customer service, saying a customer should always get the receipt back especially when returning or exchanging a product.

One user wrote: “Your receipt should come back to you, along with another receipt, verifying the return.

“If they don’t give it to you, they are either, not trained, dishonest or just lazy.”

Another user wrote: “It sounds like your store has a wrong rule.”

Meanwhile, another fuming customer slammed Walmart for refusing to issue a refund for a broken product.

In a Facebook post, the consumer blasted Walmart for selling him faulty ink cartridges and refusing to give him the money back – he’s lost nearly $100.

“At Walmart customer service, I gave the clerk my receipt and the returned box of cartridges,” he wrote on Facebook.

“Apparently, there was a problem regarding the return of cartridges after thirty days. However, this was a 94.00 purchase and due to their store policy with HP they refused the exchange,” he added.

The consumer noted that when he put the new ink cartridges in the printer, he got an error message that said there was “something wrong” with the cartridges.

An employee told the consumer that the retailer has a 30-day return policy on ink cartridges, but social media users said Walmart was wrong to turn him away.

“Does this mean that a customer can no longer purchase cartridges in quantity?” he questioned.

“So just like that, I am out 94.00. The manager confirmed this and then dismissed me by walking away.”

Several other social media users agreed with the frustrated consumer.

“30 days is a ridiculous policy!!” one consumer raged.

The retailer said a consumer’s purchase history on Walmart.com displays the latest eligible date for a return or replacement.

However, they recommend keeping track of all manufacturer packaging and receipts for a minimum of 90 days after making a purchase.

The retailer also explicitly states that a damaged item can be returned for a refund or replacement at any Walmart store.

Walmart promises that debit and credit card refunds will be available in up to 10 business days.

Sir Chris Hoy ‘kept terminal cancer diagnosis secret for a year’ as he reveals how ‘my world fell apart in a sentence’

SIR Chris Hoy kept his cancer diagnosis secret for a year – and has revealed how his world “fell apart in one sentence”.

The six-time Olympic gold medallist, 48, announced yesterday he has just four years to live.

Sir Chris is currently in Copenhagen covering the World Track Cycling Championships for the BBC – and will be on TV this afternoon.

He had said in February he was being “treated for cancer” and claimed it was going well – though knew in reality it was just “management”.

The Team GB cycling legend had first gone to his doctor in September last year.

He has written a memoir about the past year, but feels daunted about revealing his story.

He told the Sunday Times: “Once it’s said, you can’t go back. You can’t unsay it.”

Sir Chris explained, the story began with “one sentence that some person you’ve never met before has just told you”.

“And in the space of one sentence, just a collection of words, your whole world has fallen apart.”

Sir Chris went on to commentate the cycling events for the BBC at this year’s Paris Olympics despite his terminal cancer diagnosis.

It comes after the dad-of-two revealed his wife Sarra was diagnosed with incurable and degenerative multiple sclerosis.

They have not told their kids, seven-year-old Chloe and 10-year-old Callum.

DIAGNOSIS

The star had gone to the doctor in September last year after feeling a strain in his shoulder.

A tumour was found in his shoulder – before a second scan found the primary cancer in his prostate.

The prostate cancer had metastasised to Sir Chris’s bones – including his shoulder, pelvis, ribs, and spine.

Sir Chris recounted how he told his children that no-one lives for ever but he hopes to “be here for many, many more years”.

He began chemotherapy in November, wearing an extremely painful cold cap to keep his hair.

The sportsman suffered a violent allergic reaction in gruelling chemo sessions – but only missed five days of training on a bike.

How Chris Hoy went from lad on £5 bike inspired by ET to 6-time Olympic champion

By Jonathan Rose

SIR Chris Hoy began cycling at the age of six after he was inspired by the 1982 film ET.

Before he moved on to track cycling, he rode a BMX bike until the age of 15.

Sir Chris was ranked second in Britain, fifth in Europe and ninth in the World.

His dad picked up a £5 bike from a jumble sale – four years later Sir Chris was competing in the semi-final of a BMX world championship race.

“I was six when I saw ET,” he told The Guardian in 2020. “It changed my life. I wasn’t interested in cycling at all before.”

“The bikes I’d seen in Edinburgh just seemed functional things for getting from A to B,” continued Hoy, who grew up in Murrayfield.

“Then I saw those BMX bikes on screen and I was hooked. It wasn’t the scene where they cycle across the sky, but when they get chased by the police and they’re doing jumps and skidding round corners.

“It was the most exciting thing I’d ever seen. I wanted to do that.”

Four years later he became part of the British national squad.

A world championship medal came in 1999 with silver in the team sprint.

Sir Chris went on to become the second most decorated Olympic cyclist of all time.

Well-wishes for the BBC pundit have poured in since his health announcement.

Sir Mark Cavendish, who holds the record for most stages won in the Tour de France, hailed Sir Chris as a “hero of a human being”.

Amy Joy Williams, MBE, the British former skeleton racer and Olympic gold medallist, added: “A pure superhuman who everyone loves. x”

And, Paddy McGuinness shared: “Some man”, as Dame Kelly Holmes wrote: “Sending love to you Chris.” While comedian Jack Whitehall penned: “Sending you all the love mate.”

SARRA’S MS

Sir Chris and Sarra have chosen low-risk but less effective treatments for Sarra’s MS.

On some days Sarra struggles to fit in the key in the door, Sir Chris said.

The couple have not yet told their two children about Sarra’s MS diagnosis.

Sir Chris has also now written a heartbreaking memoir detailing his experience of terminal cancer.

He said recording the audio version of his memoir is the hardest thing he has ever done.

The book ends with Sir Chris’s message to his children – which he said will be the words they listen to when he is gone.

All That Matters: My Toughest Race Yet by Sir Chris Hoy is published on November 7.
