STRICTLY fans have claimed Janette Manrara snubbed Tasha Ghouri in her tribute post to Aljaž Škorjanec after they made the BBC final.

Janette, who quit the show in 2021 to become the host of Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, shared an emotional Instagram post praising Aljaz for his “incredible” comeback series on Strictly Come Dancing.

However, fans were quick to notice that Aljaz’s celebrity dance partner, Tasha, was notably absent from the gushing message, leading to speculation of tension behind the scenes.

In the post, the mum wrote: “I have no words to express how IMMENSELY proud I am of @aljazskorjanec this series.

“What a comeback year!

“You worked incredibly hard, spent time away from home and our little family, pushed through missing Lyra as much as you did, and did it all with class and grace making your wife and daughter and yourself very proud.

“You were AMAZING last night and every single week. I am so very happy for you, as are your family, friends and team. Now…. Let’s go home and cuddle.

“I’ve missed you, and I love you.”

While Janette’s words were filled with love and admiration for Aljaz, there was no mention of Tasha, who Aljaz partnered with throughout the season.

Fans quickly took to the comments, questioning if it was a snub.

One follower wrote: “It may have been nice for you to mention tasha in this post too?”

However, another replied: “Should she? She is talking about how she has missed her husband Tasha doesn’t have to be mentioned.”

One more fan moaned: “It’s like you have watched alijaz & tasha like a hawk….now this post not even a mention for tasha just you you you”

A third wrote: “Tasha and aljaz were my winners however but of a snub towards tasha”.

It comes after Tasha’s ­incredible performance in Saturday’s final saw her become the show’s highest scoring celebrity ever — taking the title from singer ­Ashley Roberts.

The Love Island star, who was born deaf and wears a cochlear implant, has cherished being able to represent her community on the BBC dance show.

She described getting to the final as “magical” and praised Aljaž for getting her so far.

She wrote alongside a post on social media: “Strictly after 13 weeks thank you, when I say doing this show has just been so magical I can’t even put it into words & surprising me with my brother flying in from Australia!!!

“This was extra special having him there watching the final, thank you so much for making this happen.”

Bookies are sure comedian Chris McCausland will be one of the names on next year’s I’m A Celebrity lineup.

After lifting the Glitterball Trophy on Saturday, Chris is now 4/1 to appear in the jungle.

Lee Astley, a spokesperson for BetIdeas, said: “Chris McCausland stole a lot of hearts during his Strictly campaign, and the public are now wondering when we’ll next see this year’s Glitterball Trophy recipient on our screens.

“The comedian has been given odds of 4/1 to try his hand in the I’m A Celebrity camp this time next year, with stints on both Celebrity Traitors and Celebrity Big Brother live chances at 6/1 and 8/1 respectively.

“There have been whispers that the comedian may give acting a go with a regular role in a TV soap opera priced at 7/1, with a major role in a West End show a more unlikely prospect at 12/1.”

Chris, 47, who began to lose his sight aged 16, made Strictly history as the first blind contestant to take the title in the BBC One programme’s 20-year history.

Speaking after his win, he said: “It’s astonishing. I don’t know what to say.

“I honestly thought I could go out in the first week or two. We have just lasted and lasted.

He thanked his partner Dianne Buswell and said: “She’s positivity, she’s belief, and she’s honestly just one of the easiest people to be funny with.

“She deserves this so much. She’s just honestly one of the easiest people to be funny with the other and unless she changes her number, she’s stuck with me.”

Miranda and Alan could be seen sitting on a sofa while chatting away for the podcast episode when a dog emerged and caused total chaos.

As the two comedians yapped away, Miranda picked up a cup of tea and started to have a sip.

“Come and sit here,” Alan could be heard saying to his dog, Rita, whom he rescued.

Rita didn’t listen to Alan, with the comedian saying: “She’s deaf,” before he and Miranda began their conversation again.

Just as Miranda started to drink her piping hot cup of tea, Alan said “Come here now” and then his dog jumped across the sofa and onto her lap.

As the dog jumped across Miranda’s lap, the comedian spilled her tea and it went down her front – covering her top and lap.

Both Miranda and Alan burst out in laughter, with the two stars in hysterics.

“Oh no! Rita’s just thrown a cup of tea over Miranda,” Alan exclaimed before he stood up and walked out of the shot.

“Oh my god,” Alan added, before asking Miranda if the hot tea was “scolding her” as she held a tea towel on her stomach.

‘I THINK IT’S FINE’

“This is the worst beginning to a podcast ever,” Alan exclaimed before Miranda explained how the tea had gone all over her.

Alan then said that his dog clearly “hates Miranda”, adding: “She’s never jumped up and thrown tea!”.

Miranda then expressed her moment of panic when she had to stop and figure out if she had “genuinely burnt herself” because it was “piping hot tea”.

“I think it’s fine,” she declared as Alan offered to pay her dry cleaning bill and then asked if she wanted another shirt to put on.

The clip was shared on Alan’s Instagram page, with fans of the comedian quick to comment on the shocking clip of the pair recording the podcast episode.

“Maybe Rita was excited to see Miranda,” said one person underneath the clip shared on Instagram.

Another person then said: “GASP !!!!!!”

A BELOVED garage has revealed that it is closing temporarily due to a “family health matter” to a flurry of supportive messages.

Usman & Nomaan from Naz’s MOT Garage tragically opened up about their father’s terminal cancer diagnosis in a post announcing the current closure.

The post reads: “We regret to inform you that Naz’s MOT garage will be temporarily closed due to a family health matter.

“Our father has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and has fallen ill.

“During this challenging time, we are stepping away to prioritise family and provide the care and support he needs.

“This is not a permanent goodbye — we hope to reopen as soon as circumstances allow.

“We appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support during this difficult period.

“Thank you for your kindness, understanding, and for being part of our community.

“We look forward to serving you again in the future, Inn Shaa Allah.”

The heartbreaking news was met with several messages of condolences under the post, many of which said they were thinking of the family in this difficult time.

One comment said: “Bless your father he is a great person and I always loved chatting with him when I came to your garage he always made me feel at home with his brews.”

Another commented: “We all pray for patience, strength for your dad, and we pray for his recovery.

“If there is anything we can do as community please don’t feel shy to ask!”

A third echoed this sentiment, writing: “Sorry to hear this guys. Thinking of you all. Anything we can do just shout!!”

The post has currently received over 65 messages of support from the community.

Naz’s MOT Garage was established in 2000 as a local mechanical service.

They are experts in Vauxhall and Volkswagen vehicles, according to their company website.

The company also specialises in BMWs, Audis and Skodas.

They offer a range of services, including MOTs, mechanical repairs and car scrappage.

It is not currently known when Naz’s MOT Garage will reopen.

A DEDICATED saver has several tips for those Americans looking to prevent a high heating bill this winter.

“It’s not as bad as it sounds,” assured budgeting expert Bradley (@baddie.brad) in a recent video detailing the tricks on TikTok.

He showed the electricity bill cost for his apartment in December 2023 with the same moves, and it was only about $40, a total very good in general and also for Connecticut, which Bradley said has some of the highest energy costs of any state.

For perspective, the average electricity bill nationwide in December is around $80, according to data from Inspire Clean Energy.

Still, that number varies greatly based on location, living space size, and other factors.

Bradley still managed to cut it in half with the frugal methodology.

BLANKETS AND BLANKETS

The first move those looking to not use their heating this winter to save money should make, according to him, was to “winterize” their bed.

That means layering the bed through several blankets for added warmth.

Bradley could be seen stacking at least five blankets and two sheets, making sure he’d be kept appropriately heated.

This was especially important for the evening hours as the outside temperature dropped.

LAYERED CLOTHING

Secondly, Bradley advised that those who wanted to keep from using the HVAC system wear several layers of clothing.

This could be through hoodies, sweaters, or various outer layers, as well as warmer under-layers and socks.

Certain times of the day might require the layers more than others.

At night in bed, the blankets will make up for less clothing, so you’re not wearing sweaters to bed and waking up sweating.

LET THE SUN IN

Bradley also recommended that homeowners or renters open up their blinds this winter to let the sun in to heat the space.

It provides an added bit of warmth that you might not realize is helping, but it sure is.

“The sun is such a natural and free way to warm up my place, especially because I live in a small studio — it actually warms it up quite nicely,” Bradley noted in the clip.

“Shoutout to the sun, we don’t give it enough credit.”

COOKING ADVANTAGE

Those who cook a lot of meals at home can also benefit from the heat that the stovetop or oven gives off.

Leaving the appliances on for a brief period when finished cooking could help warm you up easily.

Bradley also recommended taking a hand towel and blowing the heat from the stovetop or oven around a little bit in the room.

It’s especially helpful for those living in similarly smaller spaces or studio apartments.

DRAFT AREAS/FRONT DOOR

Bradley also said he tapes up cracks in the windowsill or the bottom gap in the patio door to prevent cool drafts from blowing in from outside.

That way, all the warm air can be kept inside the space.

The savings influencer also sometimes opens the front door of his apartment into the hallway (which is heated by the complex) to let the warm air flow in for a short while.

With all these hacks, Bradley said only as a last resort does he turn on the heat, for potentially 10 minutes at a time, while blowing it around with a towel, to get the space warmer.

“That’s how I survive winters the frugal way,” he told viewers.

There are also several affordable heating gadgets you could pick up from retail giants like Walmart and Target this year to help with energy costs.

Walmart’s selling a top-rated item for under $10.

A heated blanket with multiple uses is also going for just $36.99 at Target.
