Late in the game, LSU player Mason Taylor found an opening in the Ole Miss defense and scored a game-winning touchdown.

As he fought for the end zone, Ole Miss defender Trey Washington attempted to push him out of bounds before he crossed the goal line.

Taylor did get in the end zone though, and one of the cheerleaders on the sideline appeared unhappy with the defender after the play.

TV cameras captured the moment when the male cheerleader shoved Washington in the back and taunted him as LSU celebrated.

The Ole Miss player paid no attention to the cheerleader, but fans got a good look at the incident.

College football viewers had mixed opinions about the incident and shared their thoughts on social media.

“Cheerleader assault!!!” one fan said.

“Officials missed a late hit on that Ole Miss defender by the LSU cheerleader,” another fan said.

“Get that man at linebacker. Text book tackle,” a third fan said.

“The most unhinged school in the nation!” a fourth fan said.

“So is that LSU guy cheerleader going to be allowed to push the Ole Miss DB like that out of bounds? Dude doesn’t deserve to be allowed on the sidelines for the year for that,” a fifth fan said.

LSU ended up getting the win over Ole Miss after the sideline scuffle, giving them a 5-1 record on the season and propelling them up to No. 8 in the rankings.

Ole Miss fell to 5-2 and dropped to No. 18 in the college football rankings.

While it was a good game on the field, a lot of attention was turned to some of the fans in the crowd.

Cheering on the LSU Tigers was famous gymnast Olivia Dunne and her MLB boyfriend Paul Skenes.

Anyone with new Jay Slater info MUST tell all, ex-murder squad cop says after teen’s mum slams silent TV investigator

ANYONE who has any new information on Jay Slater’s death must reveal everything they know right away, says ex-murder squad cop.

Peter Bleksley told The Sun that any details around Jay’s disappearance could be vital for cops amid frustration from the teen’s mum over a lack of clarity from investigators.

Mark Williams-Thomas has been slammed by Debbie this week for not being open with the family or cops around Jay’s death[/caption]

Debbie Duncan, 55, has slammed Mark Williams-Thomas who was one of the main detectives helping to look for Jay out in Tenerife.

Williams-Thomas claims he knows the real reason the teen left the Airbnb in Spain before embarking on a doomed last journey in June.

But the former cop is yet to provide any evidence or explanation behind his theories.

Heartbroken Debbie says the lack of solid proof from the Williams-Thomas has reignited “the trolls” online that are still attacking her and Jay.

Debbie begged the ex-Madeline McCann cop to either reveal everything he knows or “just stay out of it” for good to stop the vile abuse.

Ex-Scotland Yard detective Peter Bleksley says Debbie’s anger is completely justified.

He told The Sun: “Any person who has information that is relevant around Jay Slater‘s disappearance must do the right thing.

“That means one of two things – number one to impart that information to the authorities and the police in Tenerife.

“And number two to keep Jay’s family aware of what they know and tell them all of that in full.”

Peter also spoke on Debbie’s recent claims about Williams-Thomas withholding information.

Debbie told MailOnline Williams-Thomas’ latest move felt like a “PR stunt”.

The grief-stricken mum says old wounds have only been opened up through the TV sleuths recent comments inciting hateful trolls.

Debbie has constantly blasted perpetrators for the abuse they have given everyone involved in Jay’s case since he first vanished.

The search for the Lancashire teen was hampered by amateur sleuths and conspiracy theorists who kept on spreading wild claims.

For months they have hounded the Slater family and friends while constantly making up lies about Jay and why he may have gone missing.

It is not for people to sit on information, to tease, that they have information and not give it all clearly and precisely to the family

Peter Bleksleyformer Scotland Yard detective

Peter feels that anyone who isn’t being open and honest with any details they may have is only causing the abuse to worsen.

He says that withholding crucial facts is reckless and reprehensible.

The retired undercover fugitive hunter added: “It is not for people to sit on information, to tease, that they have information and not give it all clearly and precisely to the family.”

“In my opinion, that could merely extend the torture, the pain, and the hurt that they are obviously still going through.”

Debbie has already spoken on the mental pain the trolls have caused her this week.

She said: “Losing Jay was hard enough but then having to read what some people are writing is torture.

“I’m not good really and I would be lying if I said I was alright, the last few hours have just been awful.”

A post-mortem conducted in the UK confirmed Jay died because of traumatic head injuries, consistent with a “fall from height”.

But many questions still remain unanswered for his family.

There has been no explanation about why he left the Airbnb so suddenly on June 17 or why he thought he could make the journey back to his apartment on foot rather than by bus.

The search after Jay was reported missing by best pal Lucy Law made headlines worldwide with sleuths trying to piece the teen’s last moments.

Police spent almost two weeks combing the vast area he may have walked through with drones, helicopters and sniffer dogs before turning to a private search.

Jay’s desperate dad Warren, 58, and brother Zak, 24, also kept up the hunt – retracing Jay’s steps almost every day in the blistering heat.

His body was found 29 days later after he tragically fell to his death sometime after leaving the Airbnb.

Dramatic images showed the moment a helicopter crewman was winched into the chasm with his arms aloft in the delicate recovery operation.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Debbie said: “Jay was just a lovely boy with a massive personality.

“Everybody just loved Jay being in his company – family, friends and work.

“He was loving and popular, always full of fun and smiling – and the main guy in the group.”

Timeline of the tragic case

JAY'S body was finally found after weeks of agony for the teen's friends and family with many questions still left unanswered - here is how the events unfolded...

Sunday, June 16: Jay and his friends party at the last day of NRG music festival being held at Papagayo night club in Playa de la Americas, Tenerife.

June 17 3-6am: Jay leaves with Ayub Qassim and another man for a £40-a-night Airbnb 23 miles away in the village of Masca.

7.30am: Jay shares a photo on Snapchat standing at doorway of the Airbnb.

8.50am: He calls pal Lucy Mae Law and says he is “lost in the middle of nowhere” with no water, a cut to his leg and one per cent on his phone.

Tuesday, June 18: Pals search area but no sign of Jay. Local cops and mountain rescue teams start official search. Jay’s mother Debbie Duncan flies to Tenerife.

June 19-20: Spanish police deploy drones, dogs and a helicopter, but find no trace. Search moves to Los Cristianos amid possible sighting, but it is ruled out and they return to Rural de Teno, near Masca.

June 21: Lancashire Police offer support but it is declined.

June 22: Mum Debbie issues emotional appeal to Jay saying “We just need you home.”

June 24: Claims of Jay sighting in Santiago del Teide — near to where he disappeared — and family believe a grainy CCTV image could be of him.

June 25: Debbie issues plea for her son to come home as more friends fly out and TV investigator Mark Williams- Thomas joins search.

June 29: Cops rule Mr Qassim, and other man at Airbnb, out of investigation.

June 30: Spanish cops officially suspend hunt but say probe “remains open”. His family continue to search.

July 15: A body is found by helicopter search team close to where his phone last pinged. His possessions are discovered next to human remains. Spanish cops say it points to an “accidental fall”.

August 5: Tenerife authorities confirm the body found in mountainous area of island is Jay’s.

August 10: Jay’s funeral is held at Accrington Crematorium, Lancs, with hundreds of mourners gathering to remember the “one of a kind” teen.

Seven things Tom Brady is banned from doing by NFL after Raiders takeover which makes Fox broadcast job ‘impossible’

TOM Brady finally realized a dream of becoming an NFL owner – but now faces tough restrictions.

The 47-year-old was confirmed as a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders this week.

Brady is now no longer allowed to play again – once again confirming his retirement[/caption]

He takes a stake in the NFL team after approval from other owners at the league’s fall meeting.

But that ownership now severely limits what Brady is able to do in his Fox broadcast role.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion began his 10-year, $375 million contract with the network this season.

He is part of Fox’s top broadcast team with Kevin Burkhardt and Erin Andrews.

But being a NFL owner means there are some things he can no longer do.

The former quarterback is not allowed to criticize referees or other teams.

He is also banned from other team facilities and cannot watch practice.

Brady is not allowed to gamble and he will have no access to broadcast production meetings.

He is now also subject to the NFL’s anti-tampering policy.

The 47-year-old’s ownership means he is now no longer able to play the game, making any plans of unretirement impossible.

Brady took a five per cent stake having initially shown an interest last spring.

Football has been part of my entire life growing up in the Bay Area and, in so many ways, my football life and journey has come full circle,” Brady said.

“I love the sport, I love my teammates, coaches, and the fans in every organization I’ve been part of.

“Sports bring us together in a way nothing else can.

“I grew up on the field, and it’s a blessing to know I’ll be involved in the greatest league in the world for the rest of my life.”

The Tom Brady domino effect

Tom Brady will take his seat in Fox's top NFL announce team alongside Kevin Burkhardt.

And his arrival at the network has set off a domino effect with every other announcer moving down one spot.

That means Fox’s NFL coverage in 2024 will feature entirely new broadcast pairings.

Greg Olsen, who previously worked alongside Burkhardt, will now be part of the No. 2 announce team with Joe Davis.

The other Fox pairings for 2024 are:

  • Adam Amin-Mark Sanchez
  • Kenny Albert-Jon Vilma
  • Kevin Kugler-Daryl Johnston
  • Chris Myers-Mark Schlereth

Brady revealed on a Fox broadcast that he was considering joining the Chicago Bears in 2020.

He eventually moved to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after his long stint with the New England Patriots.

“[The Bears] was a team, and I’ve never told that story before, they were very stealthy in their recruitment,” Brady said.

“I was seriously considering it, but in the end, it came down to Tampa.

“It was close to my son Jack, I loved [coach] Bruce Arians and the role that he played in offense.

“[It was] ultimately the great players like Mike Evans and Chris Godwin that I’m still out there watching today.”
