The Red Devils are sat in 14th position heading into the international break.

They’ve collected eight points from a possible 21 while only promoted Southampton have scored fewer than their five league goals.

Ten Hag, 54, has overseen a total of 10 competitive matches in all competitions this season and has beaten only Fulham, Southampton and Barnsley.

United are now five without a win, but did at least show some resilience and defensive solidity during Sunday’s goalless draw against Aston Villa.

After the clash, in which co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe was in attendance, Ten Hag was asked if United’s hierarchy was fully behind him.

He said: “I don’t have any idea that is different because they should have told me. We communicate – very open, very transparent.

“I would say every day we talk, so I expect I will speak with them. We know what we are working through, it’s a long-term process.

“We have come through two very tough away games. This is a team, we showed the belief and faith we have.”

Gary O’Neil is next in the market at 11/4 following their 5-3 defeat to Brentford and having overseen their worst-ever start to a Premier League campaign.

Wolves remain winless after seven matches and are rock-bottom of the division with a single point and the highest number of goals conceded (21).

“It’s the worst game I’ve been involved in as a coach,” O’Neil told BBC. “It’s the furthest I’ve seen the group from what we wanted to look like. We were wide open. Crazy, crazy goals we gave away.”

Russell Martin follows at 3/1 after a similarly poor start to the season that’s seen Southampton lose six of their opening seven games.

I lost $1,000s trying to buy a luxury car online – I even met the seller in person but he refused to give my money back

A LUXURY car salesman has found himself in hot water after a number of drivers lost thousands in an alleged online scam.

The dealer is accused of defrauding drivers out of more than $76,000 across several dodgy deals.

Sadaf Farooq is accused of stealing $76,000 in dodgy deposits
Peel Regional Police

Sadaf Farooq operated a fake business called Aponic Leasing in the Greater Toronto Area, according to Peel Regional Police.

The Brampton resident advertised offers for several luxury vehicles on social media platforms through the summer of 2023.

Prospective customers were asked to put down sizeable deposits in advance of the cars being delivered.

But they claim that Farooq never handed over the vehicles, leaving them thousands of dollars out of pocket.

One buyer even reported that they met the dealer at a physical car dealership to agree a sale.

Cops allege that this site was unaffiliated with Farooq’s business and that he posed as an employee there to scam the driver.

The 30-year-old was arrested on October 1 and has been charged with defrauding the public and possessing property obtained by crime.

He is set for a hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice at an unconfirmed future date.

However, investigators are working under the assumption that more victims are out there.

Anyone who believes they may have been affected or who have any information is asked to contact the Fraud Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 3335.

You can also report information anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers on 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.peelcrimestoppers.ca.

Officers have also shared a selection of tips on how to protect yourself from similar hustles in future.

They urge anyone buying a vehicle online to:

  •  Beware of vehicles that can only be viewed or inspected after purchase.
  • Travel to see a vehicle located remotely—don’t rely on pictures or a convincing website. If you can’t travel to see the vehicle, hire an appraiser or mechanic to inspect it. Ensure the vehicle exists and the seller is who they claim to be.
  • Check with state or provincial regulators/authorities to ensure a dealer is legitimate and properly licensed.
  • Purchase a vehicle history report for the vehicle—don’t simply rely on a report provided by the seller; it can be altered.
  • Don’t wire money or provide a credit card number without doing all your homework.
  • Beware of sellers who want to close the deal as quickly as possible.

It comes after a driver found himself a much better used car deal after snagging a broken-down VW for $1,000, only to find it just needed a $4 to get back on the road.

Heartbreaking moment Ronnie O’Sullivan breaks down in tears as he recalls his dad’s jail sentencing

RONNIE O’SULLIVAN has opened up about the impact of his father going to jail.

The snooker legend’s father, Ronnie Snr, was sent to prison in 1992 after stabbing father-of-two Bruce Bryan, who was the driver of notorious gangster of Charlie Kray, to death in a Chelsea nightclub.

The Rocket recalled ‘I couldn’t make sense of it’

He spent 18 years behind bars before his release in 2010.

The arrest came in the same year that the Rocket became a snooker professional.

But in his Amazon Prime documentary, Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything, the 48-year-old recalled the emotional impact it had on his life.

The seven-time world champion said: “I just couldn’t make sense of it and couldn’t believe it.

“We got the verdict through and then obviously everyone’s frantic on the phone and speaking to the solicitor [saying], ‘What can we do now? What’s the next steps?’

“And then she just said, you know as you was walking down, my dad was being carted off, he’d been sentenced, he just looked up to the woman and… (gets emotional and wipes away tears).

“You get a bit emotional sometimes don’t you. It’s really emotional.”

After regaining his composure, he added: “He just said, ‘Tell my boy to win’.

“Typical. ‘Just tell my boy to win’. That was it. F***ing 30 years ago.

“Part of me was thinking, ‘F*** you and f*** this, just f*** everybody.’

“The healthiest thing for me to do was probably to stop playing snooker. But I didn’t, I just felt compelled to stick with it.”

O’Sullivan had to bring up his eight-year-old sister Danielle when his mother was also imprisoned in 1996 for tax evasion.

And the Essex potter has spoken openly and candidly about his struggles with mental health and addiction over the years.

He continued: “I didn’t want to blame everything on that situation with my dad, but I was thinking, ‘l’d rather not have the snooker’, just a normal family, forget the snooker, whatever normal life is.

“Because… it was a dream, but looking back, it was a nightmare. I wasn’t good at having all this stuff locked inside me.

“People could see that I was imploding. If I had really let it all out they’d have locked me up.

“They’d have said he’s a danger to himself. Just self-doubt and self-sabotage and hatred towards myself.”

Inside Ronnie's colourful career

FROM his lightning breaks to blasts at officials, Ronnie O'Sullivan has fired snooker into the spotlight.

The seven-time world champion makes almost as big an impact away from the table as on it.

O’Sullivan has three children – two daughters and a son.

And the Rocket’s on-off relationship with British actress Laila Rouass has also hit the headlines.

He has opened up on battles with his weight and addiction.

While the controversial cueist reckons he wasted NINE YEARS of his career by partying too hard.

Despite being worth £14million, O’Sullivan is renowned for his love of canal boats and snubbing flashy cars.

His rivalry with fellow star Judd Trump has been branded ‘snooker’s greatest feud’.

And Ali Carter had his nose knocked out of joint by the Rocket in their infamous ‘Snotgate’ row.

Home Depot admits it ‘understands concerns’ after shopper slams payment method options before warning not to copy rival

HOME Depot has made an admission to shoppers after coming under fire over its payment policies.

Customers looking for an easy trip to the store have lashed out at the hardware chain over the policy.

Home Depot is one of the few retailers that doesn’t accept Apple Pay.

And one shopper claimed the chain needs to move into the 21st century by embracing the payment method, per a post on X.

A Home Depot spokesperson responded to the shopper’s frustration and said: “We understand your concern.”

They confirmed that the chain was evaluating particular payment methods.

“We thank you for sharing your feedback and this inquiry has been shared with leadership for review,” the spokesperson added.

But the shopper issued a warning to execs making decisions on payment methods.

They begged Home Depot bosses not to copy Walmart by rolling out a QR code platform.

The Walmart in-store app features a QR code, which shoppers can scan at the checkout to pay for goods.

Apple Pay is a glaring omission from the payment options available to Home Depot shoppers.

Shoppers can pay for goods via Visa, MasterCard, cash, or money stored on a gift card.

So far, Home Depot bosses have not yet rolled out the payment method, but that hasn’t stopped customers from sharing their feelings about the issue.

“It’s almost 2025,” one customer pointed out as they slammed the chain.

Shoppers said it was “annoying” to rummage in their wallets for credit cards.

One furious customer said they had boycotted Home Depot over its payment method policy.

Why doesn't Walmart offer Apple Pay?

CEO of Walmart Doug McMillon has revealed why stores don't offer Apple Pay on Stratechery with Ben Thompson.

Though using Apple Pay at the retailer has been an ongoing conversation, McMillon emphasized that “We would like to have the customers open our app in the store all the time.”

The app can be used to help find items in the store, but it can also be used to pay for your purchases.

“That’s one of the things that we would like people to use our app for,” he said.

Walmart has also been criticized for not rolling out Apple Pay, but it doesn’t seem likely that it will be a feature in supermarkets anytime soon.

CEO Doug McMillon said he prefers shoppers using the chain’s in-store app.

But the top exec didn’t rule out the chain, one day, teaming up with the major tech giant, per Stratechery

“Those conversations are ongoing,” he said.

“I think in our case, we would like to have the customers open our app in the store all the time.”

Earlier this week, it was reported that H-E-B- shoppers would be able to start paying for items using Apple Pay.

“At H-E-B, we’re always exploring a broad range of technologies to enhance how customers shop and pay for products,” Ashwin Nathan, the company’s Vice President of Marketing and Payments, said.

Mobile payment services will be rolled out across the chain’s portfolio of stores in about a month, according to estimates.

Gigi Hadid, Kate Moss and Adriana Lima stun at Victoria’s Secret Show – as Tyra Banks returns for first time in 19 years

SOME of the most iconic supermodels in recent history have stormed the stage for the lingerie and apparel brand Victoria’s Secret.

Last night (October 15), some of the most famous fashion models sashayed up and down the catwalk for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Gigi Hadid, Kate Moss, Adriana Lima and curve sensation Ashley Graham all took to the runway in New York City as they showcased some new must-haves from the sexy brand.

Not only were the likes of Gigi and Kate in attendance and storming the catwalk in lace lingerie, but iconic model Tyra Banks returned to the VS runway for the first time in 19 years.

Gigi could be seen rocking a sexy nightwear look which featured a babydoll chemise and some flippy shorts, both in a baby pink hue.

The model wore some gigantic pink feathery wings on her back, which she clutched onto like a backpack as she posed up a storm down the runway.

Kate Moss kept it a little more modest, with the iconic model rocking some lace lingerie underneath a lace dress.

Walking up and down the runway, the 50-year-old star looked poised and composed as she displayed her ageless figure in the lace garments and some black feathery wings.

Meanwhile, Adriana Lima who is a famous Brazilian model, returned to the VS Fashion Show in a plaid-themed look complete with sexy cut-out lingerie.

Adriana was a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 1999 to 2018, and also the longest-running model for the brand, with her even dubbed “the most valuable Victoria’s Secret Angel” in 2017.

‘FULL REPRESENTATION’

And Ashley Graham, known for her fuller figure and famous curves, also took to the catwalk.

Rocking a sheer lace cut-out bodysuit, the brunette beauty sashayed around the venue with the utmost confidence, posing at every moment she could.

Ahead of walking for the brand, she expressed her excitement for the “full representation” that was about to happen at the event.

Then, closing the star-studded show was legendary model Tyra Banks.

BANKS IS BACK

Nearly two decades had passed since Tyra walked for the lingerie brand, with her saying last month, “It feels crazy being back on the Victoria’s Secret runway. I mean, like, ‘cray cray,’ as in ‘cray cray good,’”

She added, “I never thought that I would be back on this runway, to be honest.”

And last night she wowed the crowds when she closed the show in a sexy ensemble.

Showing off her hourglass curves, Tyra rocked a bodysuit that covered her body complete with a bejeweled corset cinching her in at her waist.

She wore her hair in a voluminous style and looked fierce as she posed up a storm with a glamorous makeup look and nude lip.

Tyra Banks' DWTS Exit

Tyra Banks departed from Dancing with the Stars in 2023.

The supermodel quietly left the show after hosting for three seasons. Throughout her time on the ballroom dancing competition series, Tyra faced criticism over her hosting abilities. She eventually bowed out as host and executive producer—a role she held since her start on the show. Tyra was replaced by former DWTS pro dancer Julianne Hough.

Tyra last walked for the iconic Victoria’s Secret runway back in 2005.

“I was like, ‘This is it,’” Banks said. “It was so over-the-top, and I was like, ‘I’m out,’” she said last month, reflecting on her last stint almost 20 years prior.

As per WWD, Tyra recalled how her last walk for the brand in 2005 was when she donned a red outfit that had medals around her waist.

Tyra not only walked on catwalks for the brand, but she served as a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 1997 until 2005.
