Their arrest comes after the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) banned the sale and distribution of Starlink kits by unlicensed service providers and dealers.
POTRAZ clarified that only licensed operators are authorized to sell or distribute Starlink kits, cautioning that any unlicensed transactions will be treated as a legal offense.
The regulatory authority stressed the importance of proper licensing and clearance for both current and prospective Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and network operators.
