COSTCO is rumored to be making a change to its food court offering that has many customers clapping their hands in glee.
The retail giant is expected to bring back Coke to its soda fountains sometime next year, according to a post on social media.

A user on Reddit announced: “Good news for my fellow Costco-going [diet] coke enjoyers. My well-placed source said early 2025.”
Though the company used to sell Coca-Cola products in its food court, it stopped doing so in 2013.
Currently, Pepsi is being served in Costco food courts.
The Reddit post sparked a massive reaction from other users, with many Coke fans overjoyed at the drink’s return.
“If true my food court spending will go way up. I’m a Diet Coke guy 100%,” said one reply.
“Coke and Sprite lovers rejoice!” said another.
While yet another fan commented: “If this is true, it would be the thing that makes me decide to renew my membership!”
COCA-COLA VS PEPSI
Both of these massive brands have millions of fans and each camp is as vocal as the other when it comes to their favorite drink.
Costco stopped stocking Coke in its fountains 11 years ago after a dispute over distribution costs, according to Business Insider, and has stocked Pepsi products ever since.
The changeover from Coke to Pepsi was a gradual process, so if the rumors are true and Coke is once again in favor, then the change back is likely to be gradual too.
It would mean the disappearance of Mountain Dew and Starry, as well as Pepsi, which are also part of the Pepsi brand.
At the same time it could also mean the introduction of Fanta and Sprite, as well as the various varieties of Coke – regular, Diet Coke and Coke Zero.
However, not everybody was on team Coke as many respondents were unhappy with the proposed switch from Pepsi to Coke.
“I think I’m the only one in this sub genuinely upset by this news lol,” said one user.

However they were swiftly backed up by other Pepsi supporters.
“Nah, I’m here too. I choose Pepsi over Coke every single time,” said one.
“You’re not alone. I love Pepsi. Will not drink Coke products,” commented another Reddit user.
While a third wrote: “I’m very unhappy too… Guess I’ll save my health by not getting Costco’s hotdog anymore as well. The only place left to get a fountain Pepsi is Taco Bell or a gas station.”
FAST FOOD NEWS
Costco isn’t the only company that’s bringing back a fan favorite next year.
McDonald’s is set to reintroduce its iconic Snack Wrap early next year, much to the excitement of customers.
The fast-food giant dropped it from the menu in 2016.
The company teased the relaunch in a mysterious message on social media on December 5, saying simply: “snack wraps xx.xx.2025.”
Meanwhile competitor Jack in the Box has added Jack Wraps to its updated menu and they’re on sale from January 2.
