A series of scam calls has cost multiple people thousands of dollars. According to Sioux Falls Police, the scams began last Friday.

Gov. Kristi Noem said in her State of the State speech Tuesday that in the “very near future” she may be saying farewell, but she didn’t provide any specifics as to when her term as South Dakota’s chief executive could end.

Afternoon highs will reach the 30s and 40s across the region, with the warmest weather likely in far western SD. Winds are increasing from the west and southwest today as well. Expect temperatures to hold in the 20s tonight, with another mild day tomorrow.
