Kathryn, who offers tips and tricks on her platform Do It On a Dime, shared a series of bargain finds she stumbled across at her local Dollar Tree.

In a video, she warned against the idea of forking out $9 for a storage container on sale at Target.

“Virtually the same containers are $5 and under at the Dollar Tree,” Kathryn told her fans.

The influencer was seen stuffing the bins with her favorite snacks as she said they are super perfect for pantries.

But, the containers can be used anywhere in the home.

Six blue containers lined the shelves and they were being used to store a child’s clothes.

The budget-friendly storage units have received glowing reviews online.

One shopper said she loved the product and ranked the product four out of five.

“I just bought five of these baskets today at my local Dollar Tree,” she said.

She said the items were perfect in the laundry room she was refurbishing.

Influencers across the US have shared tips on how shoppers can score affordable deals.

Savvy shoppers have looked to dollar stores and cheaper alternatives as the cost of living crisis pinched consumers’ wallets.

Another content creator, known as DIY Living, hailed a set of crystal knobs that can be snapped up for just $1.25.

Meanwhile, a pack of 10 costs $20 at Walmart.

Dollar Tree bosses have stressed they want to keep providing items at incredible value to shoppers.

Chiefs increased the minimum pricing to $1.25 as the retailer grappled with inflation that it described as “unprecedented.”

“We remain fiercely committed to our mission of bringing our customers extreme value every day, along with more thrills, more fun & new items every week!”

But the chain came under fire when reports emerged that prices of some items could rise to $7.

Dollar Tree bosses have previously rolled out a plethora of items, ranging from $3 to $5.

But the price rises are one step too far for some shoppers.

The move sparked fury among some, calling on Dollar Tree bosses should undergo a rebrand.
