Bling Empire star Dorothy Wang has finally found her soulmate in the form of film producer Brandon Yankowitz, and she recently announced her engagement to him.
The 36-year-old billionaire took to Instagram to break the news.
Dorothy Wang Engaged to Film Producer Brandon Yankowitz
The picture shows Dorothy Wang in a passionate lip lock with her fiancé after the film producer fiancé Brandon Yankowitz got down on one knee.
Dorothy Wang flaunted her engaged status while she wore a stunning beige and white dress as she wrapped her arms around Brandon. Although she kept her bling concealed from the camera, she did show off the stunning background for her proposal.
In a pic shared on Instagram, the reality TV veteran detailed how the room was filled with candles and white roses and described the proposal as the ‘most beautiful surprise.’
The couple was soon swept away by a slew of good wishes from close friends and fans.
Rich Kids of Beverly Hills cast member Morgan Stewart McGraw commented,
“Congrats!!!!!!!!”
Another co-star from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, alum Crystal Kung Minkoff, added,
“Been waiting for this!!!!!”
Many users were wondering about the sudden breaking of the news on Instagram, especially after keeping their affair under wraps.
Just before making the announcement, Wang cryptically shared via her Instagram Story,
“Sometimes the Universe takes you on a journey you didn’t know you needed to bring you everything you ever wanted. Trust the plan.”
Fans first came to know her when she appeared on E!’s Rich Kids of Beverly Hills.
The series aired from 2014 to 2016. Wang also appeared on Famously Single to work on her dating skills.
Talking to E! News before the show aired, Wang said,
“I’m looking for someone that is very driven, that kind of has their own thing going on. [Someone] that is motivated, hard-working but fun and can also kind of keep my interest.”
Wang later worked with the Bling Empire franchise and had an on-screen love interest in Ari Kourkoumelis. However, it did not last long and ended in the spring of 2021 after filming wrapped.
Yankowitz also keeps his social media private. He is a successful film producer and New York City lawyer.
Wang last year spoke to PEOPLE and stated that she needed a shakeup and was making a big shift from Los Angeles to New York.
Wang explained,
“I honestly always loved New York. I want to change. I want to meet new people; I want to explore new restaurants. I needed a shakeup. I felt like being born and raised in Beverly Hills, as much as I built this perfect life for myself, it just kind of got too perfect for me.
