FCS watch parties; stolen car decrease; apartment fire

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — It’s Sunday, December 22. Take a look at our top stories in news and weather with KELOLAND On The GO.


After seeing a record number of vehicles stolen in 2023, the city of Sioux Falls is on track to see that number significantly decrease this year.


College football fans gathered at a local Sioux Falls restaurant to watch their respective teams battle for trip to the FCS championship game on Saturday. While KELOLAND News didn’t come across any NDSU or Montana State supporters, plenty of Coyote and Jackrabbit fans were at Session Ale Works.


Sioux Falls Fire and Rescue responded to a structure fire on Louise Avenue Saturday morning.


The first day of winter on Saturday was a pretty nice one overall…so let’s keep the trend going for the second day of the season.
