FOOD Network star Anne Burrell has sparked concern among fans after she replied to some of her followers amid her absence.
Anne, 55, is known for appearances on the hit cookery channel, with her having been a longtime host of Worst Cooks in America.

But although she has been a long-standing host of the hit TV show, she won’t be starring in its spin-off.
Anne will not be starring in the new series of Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition: Heroes Vs. Villains.
Although Anne, nor Food Network have addressed why she’ll be absent from the series, fans have quizzed the TV chef on Instagram.
And Anne didn’t shy away from responding, with her answer sparking concern that she might have been fired from the channel.
Fans were quick to address Anne’s absence on January 10.
“Why aren’t you in Worst Cooks? It’s not the same,” penned one person.
Anne then replied: “Honestly I don’t know,” complete with a shrugging shoulders emoji and a heart.
Another fan then asked: “Chef-how come you are not doing Worst Cooks this season. That is your show.”
“Uuuuughhh…I know. And I don’t know,” Anne answered.

Someone else then penned: “Hi Anne, r u still with Food Network?? U r missed very much,” with Anne responding: “I miss you guys!!!”
Another begged: “Come back next season,” to which she responded: “I will SO try.”
The description for the new series of Worst Cooks in America states: “Antonia Lofaso and Jeff Mauro will be the leaders for Celebrity Edition Heroes vs. Villains, which consists of celebrities and reality TV stars, and dividing them into teams of heroes and villains.
“This is the first season to not have [Anne] Burrell as a leader for the culinary boot camp. The season will premiere on January 5, 2025.”
Although the description mentioned Anne, who had been at the helm of the show since 2010, it did not add any information as to why she would be absent from this series.

PODCAST CHAT WITH PAL
This comes after Anne sat down with her pal Rachael Ray to discuss what it’s like being a woman in the food industry.
During an appearance on Rachael’s podcast, Anne spoke about dressing well in your day-to-day life, making an effort with your appearance and making yourself look good as a way to feel confident.
“I feel like when you take the effort to do that on your outside it makes you feel better on the inside,” Anne said.
“And like when you show up to a situation, no matter what it is, when you are put together, people notice that.
“And I think it just almost commands respect, you know, where, when you have taken the time to put together yourself,” she went on.
She affirmed that “things don’t have to be expensive” and added that putting in a “little” bit of effort will send a message to people and allow them to “react accordingly”.
Rachael then chimed in and said, “I agree with you,” before revealing how she was “embarrassed” because of how she was dressed.
She said, “And now I’m embarrassed I’m sitting here in a large t-shirt and a sweater, but it is cold here.”
Anne then described her outfit to listeners, saying, “I’m sitting here, you know, like an Amazon sweater and I’ve got like no pants on.
“I’m just kidding, I have pants on.”
“But I think it just goes into the whole package,” Anne added, “And I think it’s like how it sort of shows how you think of yourself.
“How you present yourself to the world.”
