NFL legend Rob Gronkowski looks unrecognizable in his hilarious high school year book.
Gronk, who is now a fixture on Fox NFL Sunday, also wrote an inspiring message that was very on brand for the retired star.
The retired star won four Super Bowl rings – three with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
But before he was ripping apart teams at the NFL level he was, of course, a dominant athlete in high school.
Gronk was a star in both football and basketball and his yearbook message was inspired.
Under hobbies, high school Gronk lists: “working out, playing sports, chicks.”
He also reportedly once shattered a backboard while playing for the Williamsville North Wolverines.
His high school coach, also revealed an incredible story in 2017.
Chuck Swierski told WPRI: “So we’re playing a home game and we have 68 points – now it’s not a blowout, but it’s not a particularly close game either.
“So he [Gronkowski] gets fouled and goes to the free throw line. He hits the first one to get us to 69 and the place goes nuts because he’s playing into it.
“On his next free throw, he purposely chucks the ball off the backboard and misses so the score would stay at 69 and then runs back on defense pointing at the scoreboard.”
Sports Illustrated also revealed that the high school had a ‘Gronk-O-Meter’, which measured the star’s frustration during a game.
The best way to stop him was to foul and hope it wasn’t called.
In that interview, Swierski added: “He would get hit; he would get hit.
“So we called it the Gronk-O-Meter. We would watch it and see, where is his level?
“Because you could see him getting frustrated. We were afraid somebody was going to get hurt – he’s a man amongst boys.”
Swierski added they would pull him out of games when it reached an 8 out of 10.
In high school football, Gronk would play tight end and defensive end, as well as take kick-offs.

Head coach Mike Mammoliti revealed he once scored all of the team’s points in a single game – a touchdown catch, fumble recovery returned for a TD and a safety.
Earlier this week, Gronk was left furious at the Patriots firing former teammate Jerrod Mayo after just one season.
He said: “I was shocked by that.
“To happen that soon was a shocker to a lot of people. Especially here at the desk.
“We were all surprised by that. I think it was unfair to coach Jerod Mayo.
“I mean, he never had the chance to develop as a head coach. He was just a rookie himself in that department.
“If you judge a coach by their first year, that’s really not appropriate.
“Jimmy Johnson, you went 1-15 in your first year and you won a couple Super Bowls after that.”
Gronk was so angry it looked like his hands were shaking.
