Hopewell Chin’ono reiterated his readiness for the clash, stating that if Seh Calaz truly considers himself the King of Dancehall, he should step up and accept the challenge.

“Urigwara mupfanha iwe Seh Calaz

You diss me in your track which is fair game for all sound men, but you refuse a sound clash with me, why?

Kana ndachembera as you said, come to a clash and prove that you are the king!
There is only one king wemangoma mufanha Tawanda, his name is Winky D

Inini I am ready for you anytime, let us give people this clash, prove to them that even Daddy Hope wakavapedzera!
Come Calaz, don’t be a coward, let us do this!.”

Hopewell Chin’ono Explains Why Winky D Is Off Limits in Sound Clash Challenge

When asked why he doesn’t challenge Winky D, despite his claims about being the King of Dancehall, Hopewell Chin’ono explained that he sees no reason to clash with Winky D, as the artist has never dissed him.

Instead, he emphasized that his focus is on Seh Calaz, who directly challenged him through a diss track. Hopewell argued that if Seh Calaz claims to be the King of Dancehall, he should step up, accept the challenge and leave Winky D alone. He jokingly urged Seh Calaz to come out of hiding.

“I have never met Winky D, nor have I ever talked to him, but it is common knowledge that he is the King of Dancehall by all metrics, from followers to hit records to YouTube views and more.
Why would I want to clash with the King who has never dissed me?

I want Calaz because he is the one who named me in his new song.
You can’t name someone and complain when he responds saying he is a journalist but a better reggae DJ than you.

So, I am saying, since he claims to be the King of Dancehall, let him start here and leave Winky D alone, whom he also dissed in his track!

Inini Calaz ndiri kutoda clash naye zvekudaro boys dzangu. Mangoma haana age, and skirri chete!
It will be the most watched dancehall clash on social media and it will help him be known to new audiences.

Seh Calaz come out of the hiding, Daddy Hope has a microphone fi you!
Listen mi ladies and mi, gentleman, dis is a sound clash and not pada or rurerure.”🤣🤣🤣
