ALL Star third baseman Alex Bregman could move on from his long time team this offseason.
After spending the last nine years with the Houston Astros, Bregman could jump ship for a rival team.

Bregman has consistently been one of the best third basemen in baseball throughout his career, but he is entering his 30s.
The Astros aren’t the same team that they used to be, moving on from their window of two World Series wins.
With Bregman entering a new phase in his career and the Astros turning into a new kind of team, it might be time for Bregman to move on.
According to Sportsnaut’s Matt Johnson, Bregman could look to sign with the rival Detroit Tigers.
“For as much as the Houston Astros would love to retain All-Star third baseman, his field of suitors in free agency might push it to an uncomfortable price point,” Johnson said.
“Bregman certainly isn’t an MVP-caliber talent, but he slashed 284/.337/.500 slash line with a .837 OPS from June 1 through September 27 this past season.
“The Detroit Tigers have a glaring hole at third base, and this Tigers lineup needs some veteran leadership with a bat that plugs into the middle of the order.
“What pushes it over the edge here is Bregman’s opportunity to work with manager A.J. Hinch again.
“Alex Bregman contract prediction: six years, $162 million.”
The Tigers were one of the most exciting teams in baseball at the end of this season.
After being on the brink of elimination, the team went on a miracle run to clinch a playoff spot, and ultimately won a Wild Card series.
While they lost in the ALDS, it was a good sign of things to come, and a signal that they could invest this offseason.
The third base market is slim this offseason, with Bregman easily being the best player available at the position.
Names like Yoan Moncada and Eugenio Suarez could become available based on club options, but they wouldn’t be as impactful as Bregman.
While it seems possible that Bregman could move to a new team, Astros fans are begging the team to keep him on the roster.
“BRING BREGMAN BACK,” one fan said.
“It’s going to take more than a bulldozer to keep Bregman,” another fan said.
“Heck yeah! Astros for life,” a third fan said.
“KEEP BREGMAN HERE AT HIS HOME,” a fourth fan said.
“YESS BRING HIM BACK,” a fifth fan said.
