After flip flopping back and forth between Joe Flacco and Anthony Richardson, the Indianapolis Colts have finally made a decision.

The Colts are sitting Richardson down for the remainder of the year and moving forward with Flacco.
Indianapolis made the move just days after Richardson checked himself out of a game because he “was tired.”
Head coach Shane Steichen said the team would evaluate its quarterback situation after the loss they suffered, but that Richardson checking out of the game wouldn’t factor in.
Ultimately what probably factored in was the fact that he was 10 for 32 passing with for 175 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
The Colts insist that they aren’t giving up on Richardson, who is just 22 years old.
Flacco, who is taking over for the young quarterback, shared that he thinks that the benching can be positive for Richardson.
“The thing we have to remember here is that Anthony’s really young,” Flacco told reporters.
“I know when I was that young there’s no chance that I would’ve been able to have the perspective and the right head on my shoulders to handle it and take it the right way.
“This doesn’t have to be a negative thing. There’s a lot of positives on his end that can come from this.
“He’s very young with a bright future. There’s a lot of guys that come into this league and don’t play right away.”
The Colts are 4-4 this season, but if feels possible that they could be 6-2 if Flacco started every game.
Flacco’s passing numbers are considerably better than Richardon’s are this season.
In five games, Richardson passed for 958 yards and four touchdowns while throwing seven interceptions.
Meanwhile, in three games Flacco passed for 716 yards, seven touchdowns, and just one interception.
NFL fans are in agreement that Flacco is the right choice and shared their opinions on social media.
