There hasn’t been one quiet winter in Florida. Inter Miamis ‘Operation Exit’ takes off, with more than four departures from the first team raised hopes of a quieter transfer window at Chase Stadium.
The outputs from Leo Campana, CJ Dos Santos and Diego Gómez may soon be followed by those of Julian Gressel and Matías Rojas. The goal is clear: to free up salary space and create space for sign another star player to join their growing list of ‘galacticos’.

Inter Miami sells major assets
During the summer there was speculation about high-profile arrivals such as Neymar or Ángel Di Maríabut these options were quickly dismissed due to the team’s precarious financial situation. While MLS is willing to help the franchise, it won’t do so without conditions.
So far, Inter Miami has already managed to open up a significant part of their salary budget. Between sale of CJ Dos Santos and Leo Campanathe club has freed up nearly $4 million in wages, along with other financial adjustments.
However, the most significant development has been the availability of a Designated Player (DP) slot.. With only Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets currently occupying DP slots, the team is now in a position to chase another high-caliber ‘galaktico’.

Which players can Inter Miami sign?
A variety of names have been associated with Chase Stadium. Several European legends could consider heading stateside for a high-profile retirement. At first Antoine Griezmann was rumored to be the face of the club’s new stadium inauguration.
However, Messi’s expected contract renewal seems to have ended that speculation. Griezmann now seems destined for LAFCjoins compatriots Olivier Giroud and Hugo Lloris.
In the meantime, Neymar’s continued stay at Al Hilal may be nothing more than a negotiating tactic. Inter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas are reportedly keen to bring in the Brazilian superstar to Florida.
Although no specific timeline has been set, the club has a patient approachmuch like they did with Messi. Whether it’s in January or after the Club World Cup, Inter Miami are determined to make Neymar a reality. In Fort Lauderdale, patience is more than a virtue—it’s a strategy.
