JIMMY Johnson was suddenly absent from Fox NFL Sunday for Week 8’s episode.
As Fox opened its NFL coverage on Sunday, fans were surprised to see no Johnson on the show.

The Fox panel gave no reasoning for Johnson’s absence, and he hasn’t made any comment on it either.
Most of the Fox crew was available for the episode, with Terry Bradshaw, Curt Menefee, Rob Gronkowski, Michael Strahan, and Howie Long on the show.
Johnson’s absence is just another in a stretch of years where he and Bradshaw have missed time.
While there is no indication as to why Johnson missed time, Bradshaw has had health concerns in previous years.
Bradshaw recently sparked more concerns while making some mistakes during his NFL analysis.
At 76 years old he has started to fumble some of his segments, including forgetting the names of some of the teams he covers.
In Week 7 he started breaking down a matchup between the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, but Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans highlights were playing.
It took him a few moments to realize that he was on the wrong subject.
“Whoops, wrong one,” he said.
Menefee quickly swooped in to take over the analysis after Bradshaw’s slip up.
Fans have called for the likes of Bradshaw and Johnson to step down because of their age.
Bradshaw has spoken about these calls, saying he hopes the time never comes for him to leave the show.
“When that time comes, when they say to me, ‘Happy Trails,’ oh man, you want to say that’s never going to happen,” he said.
The time could be coming sooner rather than later as Bradshaw has dealt with health issues including a cancer diagnosis.
“I ran out of breath and Howie [Long] helped me off and a lot of people have asked what’s wrong with me, what’s happened to me physically and I just want to address it and let you know what has happened in my life,” Bradshaw said in 2022.

“In November (2021), I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. I went to the Yale University Medical Center for treatment and as of today, I am bladder cancer free.
“All right, that’s the good news.”
Bradshaw is healthy and cancer-free now, but some fans still think it may be time for him and Johnson to consider retirement.
“Terry Bradshaw having too many senior moments during halftime update of Lions-Vikings game,” one fan said.
“What FOX does to Terry Bradshaw every week is despicable,” another fan said.
“At some point we’re going to have to consider Terry Bradshaw doing the rapid halftime reports as elderly abuse,” a third fan said.
“Get Terry Bradshaw off of television,” a fourth fan said.
