WILLIAMSPORT — “Contentious” is how one retired Williamsport police described the office atmosphere when the department was run by a retiree state police captain.
It felt like the union was being targeted, retired deputy chief Mark Sechrist testified Wednesday in U.S. Middle District Court.
“That’s a nice way to put it,” he said when asked about manager David J. Young and then captains Jody Miller and Donald Mayes “butting heads against the league.”
