A KROGER customer has been left furious after they waited several hours to use what is supposed to be a convenient perk.
They blasted the supermarket chain for the time spent attempting to get merchandise and said it was the last time they’d try it.

Kroger offers pickup and delivery services at its locations nationwide.
Consumers can even shop online and gather all of the groceries they want before choosing a pickup time and heading into their local store.
That way, they can park and pick up their items with assistance from employees and leave quickly and efficiently.
There’s also no charge for Kroger’s pickup service on orders above $35, and shoppers are supposed to be able to select a pickup time within as little as two hours after the order is placed.
While the system is streamlined in theory, some customers have cited long wait times and delays on orders recently.
WAITING GAME
“@kroger your Kroger pick up is a joke,” fumed shopper Mary Ann Daniels in a post on X earlier this month.
“Never doing it again. First time doing it and got a call asking if I could come an hour later than my requested pick up time.”
The problems only continued after the first delay, according to Marry Ann.
“Then I get there just to wait an hour and still have no stuff to get. Such a joke,” she wrote.
“Never again. You failed.”
Kroger quickly responded and apologized, requesting more information to help resolve the incident.
“Hi Mary Ann! Thank you for reaching out and we’re very sorry to hear about your pickup experience,” the supermarket chain replied.
“This is not the experience we want for our customers to have.”
“Kindly DM us and provide your loyalty card number, name, and order number so we can escalate it. Thank you,” Kroger added.
Kroger delivery policy

Shoppers can pay $6.95 for delivery within two hours.
Those who need something quicker can get items in as little as 30 minutes.
Orders must be a minimum of $10 to get quicker delivery.
Customers can save $15 on their first delivery order of $75 or more
ISSUES CONTINUE
Mary Ann isn’t alone in her grievances over long wait times, either.
A fellow shopper also waited over 30 minutes for her pickup order this month,
She cried out that it was a waste of “gas” and “time” and requested that the whole order be refunded.
It’s unclear if that ever happened.
Aside from pickup services, Kroger shoppers have been arguably more frustrated with self-checkout in the past few months.
Some have cited lines as long as “40 people” waiting for three open kiosks at their local store.
Others pleaded for Kroger to have more cashiered lanes as they had to bag their goods on the floor at self-checkout, and threatened to “boycott” the retailer for good.
Kroger also faces a lawsuit from Albertsons after it’s $24.6 billion merger fell through in December.
A retail expert told The U.S. Sun in an exclusive conversation that there are pros and cons for consumers as a result of the failed deal.
