Legend of Zelda and Harry Potter are just a few of the highly anticipated games launching in September

SEPTEMBER will be the biggest month for gaming so far in 2024, as a huge number of big name games will launch.

Strategy games, sports games, and puzzle platformers are all represented here, including a number of games from popular series.

Here are all the biggest games launching in September 2024.

The Casting of Frank Stone

This is a choices matter horror adventure game[/caption]

Set in the Dead by Daylight universe, The Casting of Frank Stone is the next game by Supermassive Games best known for Until Dawn and The Quarry.

This interactive horror drama follows the story of four filmmakers as they explore an abandoned steel mill.

The Casting of Frank Stone is available from September 3, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions

If you wondered why there isn’t any mini-game for the wizarding sport of Quidditch in Hogwarts Legacy, this is why.

Play as any of the positions: beater, chaser, keeper, or seeker in single or multiplayer modes.

Age of Mythology: Retold

A spin-off from the Age of Empires series, Retold is a remake of the 2002 original.

Taking inspiration from Greek, Egyptian, and Norse mythology, players will build their empire in this real-time strategy game.

Age of Mythology: Retold will be released on September 4, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Astro Bot

Astro Bot is making its comeback[/caption]

Astro Bot returns for its third game following the PS VR exclusive Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, and the PS5 launch game Astro’s Playroom.

In this adorable 3D puzzle platformer you’ll guide Astro Bot with plenty of cameos from all your favourite PlayStation characters.

Astro Bot is a PS5 exclusive that releases on September 6.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection

Not only does Investigations Collection include two games: Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, and Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit, it’s the first time the latter has ever been translated into English.

Play the part of Phoenix Wright’s long-time rival Miles Edgeworth as he investigates various crimes and defends his clients.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection will launch on September 6, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2

A sequel to the 2011 original, Space Marine 2 is a third-person shooter / hack-and-slash game set in the Warhammer 40k universe.

It has both single-player and co-op modes so you can strategise during combat.

Lollipop Chainsaw: RePOP

Juliet Starling is back, as the PS3 cult classic comes back for a highly anticipated remake.

The story and gameplay will seem familiar, but there is a lot of new content for the camp zombie chainsaw ‘em up.

Lollipop Chainsaw: RePOP releases on September 12, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC

Enotria: The Last Song

Inspired by Italian folklore, Enotria: The Last Song is a new take on the soulslike genre.

Set in a brighter environment than most soulslikes, it will still feature the challenging combat the genre is known for.

Enotria: The Last Song will launch on September 19, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed

A ground-up remake of the Wii classic Epic Mickey: Rebrushed refines the game bringing up performance to 60fps and 4k resolution.

You control Mickey Mouse in this 3D puzzle platformer, using your magic paintbrush to move around the levels.

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed launches on September 24, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Ara: History Untold

Ara has been created by former Civilization devs[/caption]

Created by a number of ex-Civilization developers, Ara: History Untold is set to be a new series in the turn-based strategy genre.

Players will build and lead their nation through the creation of a new empire.

Ara: History Untold will be released on PC on September 24.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

You can play as Zelda for the first time[/caption]

The next entry in The Legend of Zelda franchise will allow players to play as Princess Zelda for the first time.

Instead of a sword, Zelda will use the Tri Rod to copy and create objects that can be used for both puzzles and in combat.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is a Nintendo Switch exclusive releasing on September 26.

EA Sports FC 25

The next entry in the EA Sports FC series – formerly known as FIFA – will launch in September.

It introduces a new IQ mechanic to the football game which will give more control over how your players perform.

EA Sports FC 25 will launch on September 27 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
