A villa source said: “Whilst bosses make an effort to keep the line-up secret, the degree of separation between these Islanders is wafer-thin so everyone knew who was heading in.
“It naturally meant they were all chatting about it on Insta and then a casual group began where some of them talked about the show.
“It was all kept top secret but there’s been convos about who they fancy, what they might do in the villa and so on.”
Tonight’s opening episode will see the Islanders paired up by viewers, with one explosive match being exes Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen.
She brands him a “red flag” in an ice-breaker game after their relationship ended when he cheated on a romantic holiday.
But it was 2022 winner Ekin-Su, 30, who steals the spotlight when she struts in as the first bombshell and is handed the reins of a big twist.
She is hoping her turn in villa proves more successful than her disastrous appearance on Celebrity Big Brother last year, so it is claimed that a pal reached out to “see who fancied her” when they approached Scott, with the aim of giving her a “soft landing”.
It comes after Scott told The Sun he’d love if his own ex entered the villa because it would make a “great show”.
His split from 2017 villa beau Kady McDermott was explosive.
But hinting he was up for creating TV moments, Scott said: “Obviously, the Kady situation would be crazy. But at the same time, I’m hoping it happens because I think it would be special.
“I think it’s just about making a great show and bringing together people who wouldn’t usually be together.”
