There was a rat’s nest under the hood, and the engine had to be completely removed[/caption]

On the outside, the Mercedes-AMG GT looked pretty beat up, with a massive dent on the front right bumper and torn wrapping.

However, inside the car, the damage was even worse, leading Fryer to dub it the “worst abandoned supercar in America” for his video.

Under the hood, the car lover found a rat’s nest and noticed the vermin had been chewing on wires.

The car didn’t run and hadn’t been cranked in nearly five years as it was left to rot in the sun.

Whenever Fryer tried to turn the key, the Mercedes made a weak starting noise leading the driver to think that several cylinders were damaged.

The situation only worsened when Fryer checked the undercarriage and found multiple issues, including locked rear wheels, oil leaks, and debris from wreckless off-roading.

The YouTuber said the Mercedes dealership told them not even to bother putting the bolts back on the car, but Fryer wanted a challenge.

The previous owner had seriously damaged the car when he slid off a racetrack and onto gravel-filled dirt.

Then, he drove the car home while coolant poured onto the road until the engine was so overheated he had to pull over.

Instead of going to a mechanic, the driver poured cold water into the engine, which caused serious internal issues.

Finally when he got home, he left the Mercedes and didn’t touch it for years.

Fryer’s first goal with the car was to get all of the water out from the engine and oil tank.

He drained out all the fluids and then removed the engine and found every single cylinder had been filled with water.

The engine was left rusted and completely corroded from the water, and Fryer realized they had to send the engine to a specialist.

The Mercedes expert said he would have to completely rebuild the engine and send it in about a month.

Eventually, Fryer got his new engine, installed it into the car, and finally got it running.

However, one month ago, the transmission locked up on the ride, leading him to return it to the shop again.

“I have to keep digging into it and find out what’s wrong,” he said.

Another abandoned car that’s normally worth $27,000 is being sold for just $1,800 thanks to a massive problem.

And a once-great classic model that normally scores up to $100,000 at auction is being sold for just a few thousand after it was reduced to pieces.
