Yashish Dahiya’s background

Before starting the company, he worked in consulting at Bain & Company and held a role at Ebookers Plc.
Dahiya’s focus has been on leveraging digital tools to influence consumer decision-making in the insurance sector, particularly in areas such as death, illness and disability insurance products.
Apart from his professional achievements, Dahiya is an accomplished athlete, ranked among India’s top triathletes. He has completed seven Ironman events and represented India at the Masters Swimming World Championship in Kazan.
Dahiya holds a Bachelor of Engineering from IIT Delhi, a PhD in Management from IIM Ahmedabad and an MBA from INSEAD.
Alok Bansal’s role
Alok Bansal, co-founder and vice chairman of Policybazaar, oversees corporate finance and other strategic functions at the company.
Prior to joining Policybazaar, Bansal held senior positions in organizations such as Mahindra Group, iGate Global Solutions and GE.
He was also recognized as one of India’s Top 100 CFOs by CFO India Magazine in 2016.
Bansal holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a degree in engineering from Lucknow University.
