NASCAR Driver Parker Kligerman Confirms Entry Into Iconic Race In 2025

NASCAR driver Parker Kligerman has announced his plans to make a transition from full-time NASCAR competition to joining the ranks in the 2025 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. The race is set for January 25 and 26 at the Daytona International Speedway.

Kligerman’s decision to participate in this iconic race follows his announcement made in September 2024 to step away from full-time NASCAR racing after a committed run with Big Machine Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Over the last two seasons, he piloted the No. 48 Chevrolet, earning accolades with 13 top-five finishes and 33 top-ten finishes.

He will compete as part of the Forte Racing and Scott Borchetta’s Big Machine Racing collaboration, driving the No. 78 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2. Joining him is Misha Goikhberg, a proven competitor in the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship, although two more drivers are yet to be announced to complete the team.

In announcing his participation, Kligerman commented:

“I’ve often talked about how much Scott and I love all forms of motorsports.

“Over the past few years driving for Big Machine, it’s been amazing getting to know him and sharing that passion. When we realized my full-time driving career was coming to an end, we started wondering what cool motorsports adventures we could tackle together. At the top of that list was the Rolex 24.”

Kligerman has a strong appreciation for Big Machine Racing and its founder, Scott Borchetta. The backing of Borchetta has been vital to Kligerman’s motorsport journeys. He continued:

“I’ve dreamed of competing in this race my whole life, and I can’t thank Scott and Big Machine Spiked Coolers enough for making this happen. Forte Racing is a top-tier organization that’s always at the front in IMSA competition. I’m excited to get up to speed in the coming weeks and do my part to help us race for the win—and, of course, a Rolex.”

This comes after Trackhouse Racing also confirmed its entry into the prestigious racing event. Team owner Justin Marks commented:

“Participating in the Rolex 24 has been a dream since the inception of Trackhouse Racing.

“We wanted to make sure we could enter with a top-notch partner in Chevrolet and TF Sport as well as a driver lineup that could compete for the victory. We feel like this group we have put together can compete for the trophy.

“We set out to become an international company with a global brand and we took a big step in 2024 adding MotoGP. Today marks another step as Trackhouse enters one of the most prestigious motorsports races in the world with two Americans (Zilisch and Keating) and two New Zealanders (Van Gisbergen and McLaughlin) behind the wheel.”
