THE NFL have announced a major broadcasting change and a new schedule.

The week 17 Sunday Night Football clash between the Miami Dolphins and the Cleveland Browns has been moved out of top slot.

The Atlanta Falcons home match against the Washington Commanders will replace the game.

The Dolphins will now start their match at the earlier time of 4.05pm rather than at 8.20pm on December 29.

The change will come as a blow to Dolphins star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who will no longer be playing in the prime time slot.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared the news with a post on social media.

It read: “NFL has moved the Dolphins-Browns game out of Sunday Night Football in Week 17 and replaced it with Falcons vs. Commanders.”

Fans have produced a mixed reaction as they flooded the comment section.

One posted: “That’s a joke.”

A second commented: “Both games suck anyways.”

A third posted: “One awful game for another. Brilliant.”

A fourth said: “I like it.”

Another added: “Great. Nobody wants to watch trash on Sunday night.”

Meanwhile, the Dolphins have signed former Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie to the practice squad.

He had started the season with the New York Giants before an injury saw him waived by the team.

He will provide more depth after Grant DuBose is placed on the injured reserve list.

Quarterback Skylar Thompson has also been signed to the practice squad.
