Noida: Noida International Airport will revolutionize air travel in India, with ticket bookings opening in February 2025 for its initial phase of operations. Strategically located along the Yamuna Expressway, the airport will start with 30 domestic and international flights, including routes to Zurich, Singapore and Dubai. It aims to improve connectivity while providing a convenient option for residents of Noida and Greater Noida, who previously relied on Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
In its first phase, the airport will operate 30 flights, comprising three international destinations and 25 domestic routes connecting key Indian cities. In addition, two cargo services will commence, positioning the airport as a hub for passenger and logistics needs. This mix of services will ensure comprehensive connectivity and a seamless travel experience for users.
According to media reports, ticket bookings will open 70 days before the airport’s official launch in April 2025. This early booking window will enable travelers to secure their tickets well in advance, creating anticipation and offering a hassle-free experience for the airport’s debut. For residents of Noida and Greater Noida, the airport promises unparalleled convenience. The new facility, located along the Yamuna Expressway, will drastically reduce travel time, addressing a long-standing challenge for commuters who previously endured long journeys to Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The launch of Noida International Airport marks a significant milestone in India’s aviation sector. With its modern infrastructure and strategic location, it positions Noida as a key player in the industry, attracting global attention and promoting economic growth.
