2025: Oris celebrates the Year of the Snake in Cyan
In the Chinese Tierkreis, the snake stands for wisdom, wealth and intelligence and is associated with the elements wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Holz, das mit Wachstum und Neuanfängen assoziiert och durch die chinesische Farbe Cyan repräsentiert wird, findt sich im Design der ProPilot x Year of the Snake again. The skeletonized dial structure with Super-Luminova-coated Indices in Cyan abstractly resembles the structure of a snake and gives the watch a dynamic energy through its branches. The 44 mm Gehäuse and the bracelet, which is the best of titanium, were not worried about Leichtigkeit, but to have an Anmutung des Designs unterstreicht. Another highlight: The patented Gangreserveanzeige indicator at three clocks is also shown in snake form at this clock – a subtle, golden accent that awakens the dial to life.
Smooth, shiny – technically impeccable
Under the surface works the in-house Caliber 115 from Oris, a hand-wound movement with an impressive ten-day power reserve. The watch has a water resistance of up to 10 bar (100 meters).
