An Oshawa man is facing charges after he was arrested by Toronto police during a drug bust Wednesday.
Officers were patrolling the area of Queen Street West and Bathurst Street when they allegedly saw a drug deal taking place between two people.
Nathaniel Williams, 38, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with,
- Traffic a schedule 1 subject
- Assault with intent to resist or prevent arrest
- Has schedule 1 substance for human trafficking
- Possess proceeds of property or thing obtained by crime under $5000
It turned out that the Toronto narcotics task force was simultaneously conducting an investigation into Williams and a search warrant was executed.
Officers say during the search they found two loaded guns, a bayonet, three replica guns and drug paraphernalia.
Three men were also found inside the residence and arrested and charged.
Nathaniel Williams was additionally charged with:
- Traffic in schedule I subject x2
- Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000
- Possession of a firearm without a license x2
- Possession of restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not in possession of license and registration certificate x2
- Careless storage of firearm x2
- Store ammo carelessly x3
- Failing to comply with release order
Mubarek Ajetunmobi, 18, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a firearm without a license x2
- Possessing restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a license and registration certificate x2
- Careless storage of firearm x2
- Store ammo carelessly x3
- Violation of probation
Emmanuel Grant, 19, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a firearm without a license x2
- Possession of restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not in possession of license and registration certificate x2
- Careless storage of firearm x2
- Store ammo carelessly x3
- Violation of probation
- Failure to comply with probation
Joel Drummond, 18, of Oshawa, has been arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a firearm without a license x2
- Possession of restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not in possession of license and registration certificate x2
- Careless storage of firearm x2
- Store ammo carelessly x3
