Oshawa man among four charged in Toronto drug bust


An Oshawa man is facing charges after he was arrested by Toronto police during a drug bust Wednesday.

Officers were patrolling the area of ​​Queen Street West and Bathurst Street when they allegedly saw a drug deal taking place between two people.

Nathaniel Williams, 38, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with,

  • Traffic a schedule 1 subject
  • Assault with intent to resist or prevent arrest
  • Has schedule 1 substance for human trafficking
  • Possess proceeds of property or thing obtained by crime under $5000

It turned out that the Toronto narcotics task force was simultaneously conducting an investigation into Williams and a search warrant was executed.

Officers say during the search they found two loaded guns, a bayonet, three replica guns and drug paraphernalia.

Emmanuel Grant, 19, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:

  • Violation of probation
  • Failure to comply with probation

Joel Drummond, 18, of Oshawa, has been arrested and charged with:
