Pat McAfee leaves NFL GameDay Morning crew stunned after calling out ‘most absurd thing I’ve ever seen’ on live TV

PAT McAFEE left the NFL GameDay Morning crew stunned after calling out the “most absurd thing I’ve ever seen” on live TV.

NFL analyst McAfee is a fan favourite thanks to his no-nonsense opinions and takes on all things football.

The ace has most recently been seen providing his views on the College Football Playoffs.

But the giant teams have not escaped his attention either.

McAfee made headlines with his views on the Indianapolis Colts this month after they were eliminated from playoff contention.

McAfee called for the entire team to be scrapped in a now-famous rant.

Yet his controversial views extend past the pitch as well.

And nobody appears to be safe, including fellow colleagues on TV.

McAfee’s latest appearance on the screen saw him star as a guest on NFL GameDay Morning.

He sat down with the gang to talk all things football as usual.

But McAfee also found time to berate host Kyle Brandt over his recent interview with rap star Lil Wayne.

Before the talk, Brandt admitted on social media he didn’t know any of the star’s songs before asking for suggestions.

And McAfee ripped into Brandt for his lack of hip-hop knowledge.

He said: “Before I wrap up and get out of here, as somebody who graduated high school in 2005, then went to college for the next three-years, [Kyle] Brandt, you talking about Lil Wayne like he was some up-and-coming artist.

was one of the most absurd things I’ve ever seen in my entire life on television.

“(Imitating Brandt) ‘I put out a tweet, uh, hey, what song should I listen to’. Open Spotify, there’s a song with a billion streams on it, maybe try that one.

“He’s a 26-time Grammy nominee and then you were like, ‘wow, your fans are passionate, man, wow, I had no idea, they said that I’m not ready for the mixtapes yet.’

“I was just like, golly, this guy’s ignorance knows no ceiling. That was unbelievable.

“Kyle, I’m a big fan of yours but that some of the most wild s**t I’ve ever seen on television, the way you were talking to Lil Wayne.”
