Mahomes was collared for an interview after the win on Monday Night Football.

And after doing his best to break down his team’s performance and his own efforts on the field, he had a five-word message for his daughter Sterling Skye.

At the end of his chat he said: “I wanted to tell my daughter Sterling hey.

“Hey Sterling, go to bed!”.

The hilarious moment left the ESPN studio laughing as Mahomes ran away after waving down the barrel of the camera.

Mahomes and wife Brittany have two children together, eldest Sterling Skye and a son born back in 2022 named Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III.

While the high school sweethearts are currently expecting their third child.

On the field things are certainly going well for Mahomes and his teammates with the Chiefs storming their way through the early stages of the season.

Their 5-0 record makes them the one of only two undefeated sides this year, alongside the Minnesota Vikings.

Now it’s about keeping the momentum going as the Chiefs head into their Bye Week this week ahead of a tough clash with the San Francisco 49ers when they return.

Speaking on how he will manage a week away from the field, Mahomes said: “It’s not going to be a lot of relaxation.

“I’m going to work on my own stuff. I have stuff I need to work on.

“And then I’ll be home with my kids, so that’s going to be a lot of running around.

“Hopefully I’ll get to go to at least one of the Royals games during this bye week.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m not going anywhere exotic or crazy but it’ll be good to get some family time.”

Mahomes threw for 331 yards as the Chiefs continued their pursuit to become the first franchise to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

Elsewhere last night, Taylor Swift returned to Arrowhead to support Travis Kelce just a few days after the tight end turned 35.
