Pattaya Beach turned from paradise to pandemonium last night as foreign women clashed over alleged issues of competition in the local sex trade in a shocking display of violence.

The usually vibrant beach atmosphere was shattered yesterday, November 5, when police were called to Soi 13/4, Pattaya Beach Road, in Chon Buri Province to break up a heated brawl.

Arriving at the chaotic scene, officers discovered a group of Uzbek women embroiled in a noisy argument, divided into two rival factions. Tourists looked on in disbelief as the women hurled insults, resulting in minor injuries before law enforcement could intervene.

Among the group, a towering foreign man, described as incoherent and belligerent, initially refused to comply with police orders. A show of force ensued as officers handcuffed him and took all parties involved to the local police station for questioning.

The root of the conflict, as captured by a 42 year old local vendor Kiranuwat, was the simmering tension between seasoned escorts and newcomers muscling in on their turf.

According to Kiranuwat, the brawl erupted over a new Uzbek arrival who had crossed boundaries to poach clients, sparking outrage among the local contingent and prompting their handler to step in.

The dispute finally boiled over into a public showdown, much to the horror of holidaymakers enjoying the beachfront. Quick-thinking Kiranuwat knew swift action was needed and promptly alerted the police to defuse the situation.

Once the dust settled at the station, all involved parties, including the defiant foreign man, seemed to let bygones be bygones. With no grudges held, the police recorded their information, took photographs, and released them.

Following the incident, local reporters investigated rumours circulating among residents that foreign ‘professionals’ were offering their services along Pattaya’s picturesque beach road.

Channel 7 reported that their findings confirmed the whispers: women from various backgrounds occupied shady spots beneath coconut trees and near lamp posts, openly propositioning passers-by with little regard for the law.
