Louis said ‘thank you’ to a well wisher who gave him a gift on Christmas Day[/caption]

The clip was taken on Christmas Day as King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Kate, along with numerous other royals went to church.

TikTok account @princessroyalty2 shared the moment Prince Louis accepted a gift from a fan who had waited outside of St Mary Magdalene Church.

The video shows Prince Louis walking over to accept the present, and we can hear a small “thank you” as he is handed it.

The moment appears to have delighted royal fans, with the caption being: “so cute Louis”.

They added: “Little Louis and his shy voice.”

One viewer replied: “Aww yay l love how he say thank you.”

Prince Louis previously delighted fans with his facial expressions and dancing at the Jubilee and his comical balcony wave at the Coronation for King Charles – that were anything but “shy”.

The young royal – who attends Lambrook school with his siblings Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, nine – also has an adorable nickname from his parents.

When the Wales family stepped out at a Scout’s event in Slough, Kate encouraged her son to “pop [the skewers of marshmallows] in the fire, Lou Bug”.

Louis’ big secret

Princess Kate recently shared the special secret she told Prince Louis to keep from his sister, as the royal children joined their mother at the poignant Christmas carol service.

The Princess of Wales revealed the important task she gave her youngest son, in a conversation with singer Paloma Faith.

Kate shared how Princess Charlotte was unbeknownst about one of the most special acts of the night.

Seemingly talking about the soloists from the Royal Ballet who performed during the service, the princess opened up about how much the young royal loves ballet.

Kate Middleton’s ‘golden rule’ with George, Charlotte and Louis

KATE’S key rule for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis is about kindness.

According to HELLO! Online’s Royal Correspondent: “Based on observations of photographs of Princess Diana at the time, and the current Princess of Wales, they are both very affectionate with their children.

“Kate is often seen holding her children’s hands or picking them up for cuddles when they were smaller.

“There are often lots of comforting gestures, such as a pat on the back or stroking their hair. When interacting with other children on her public engagements, Kate often crouches down to their level to engage with them – something that Diana would often do.”

When she’s at the family’s home of Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, despite her royal status, insiders say Kate is just like any other “normal mum”.

A friend explained that behind closed doors, the 42-year-old is “very chilled at home” but definitely not a pushover and will tell the kids off when needed.

They told PEOPLE: “It’s a normal, busy family home with kids running around and knocking things over. There’s no airs and graces.

“She is doing that to help her children be more grounded and keep their reality in check. That’s what really matters to her.”

Speaking to Paloma Faith, Kate said she asked Louis “Can you keep a secret otherwise it won’t be a surprise for Charlotte, who loves her ballet dancing.”

Kate revealed that the young prince lived up to his tricky task.

The princess added: “He has kept the secret for, what, nearly two weeks now.”

Paloma Faith said: “Very challenging.”

Princess Kate replied: “For a six-year-old.”

Despite the prince’s good job, Kate revealed how he nearly broke at the last minute.

Kate added: “And then this morning he said ‘Mummy, please can I tell her – I’m bursting’.

“I did drop off and he really wanted to tell her. I think – hopefully – he’s kept it.”

The young princess later looked delighted at the Royal Ballet’s performance, suggesting Louis kept his promise to his mum.
