PETE Davidson and Colin Jost shared an awkward run-in on stage after a months-long rift.
The comedians engaged in an icy exchange during the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live after an alleged falling out earlier this year.

During the late-night comedy show, Pete, 30, appeared in a skit with the episode’s host and his longtime pal, John Mulaney, among other cast members.
Colin, 42, hosted Weekend Update as per usual, and even joked about his struggling Staten Island Ferry venture with Pete.
“A comedian at Trump’s rally referred to Puerto Rico as a floating island of garbage, and I take offense to that as someone who proudly grew up on an actual Island of garbage,” Colin joked, as a map of Staten Island, where he and Pete hail from, flashed on the screen.
“I’m just kidding. I don’t want to offend anyone back home, but just in case, I bought the only way they can get off the island and come find me,” he continued, referencing the Staten Island ferry he bought with his former SNL co-star.
The younger funnyman was absent from the segment.
STRANGE EXCHANGE
At the very end of the show, during the iconic SNL close, all the comedians, musical guest Chappell Roan and host John gathered on stage.
At that moment, Pete and Colin interacted for what seemed like the first time in a very long time.
The two, standing on opposite sides of the stage, moved toward each other immediately after John made a joke while thanking Pete for his cameo.
They shook hands and parted ways before coming back together again to chat briefly.
Colin’s greetings with others on stage were much more enthusiastic, as he gave a big hug to John, and thanked Chappell.
It also appeared, according to a report by Page Six, that Colin stopped by the show’s weekly afterparty, but Pete skipped out on the festivities.
UNFUNNY FEUD
A source previously told The U.S. Sun that Pete and Colin had stopped speaking, and that the latter even refused to be at 30 Rock, where Saturday Night Live is taped, if the younger comedian was also there.
While things appeared to have been smoothed over for Pete’s SNL appearance, the insider said in September that Colin “can’t be in the same building, let alone be in the same room” as the 30-year-old after “something big happened.”
Pete Davidson’s Rehab Stints
Pete first checked into rehab in 2017 as he was diagnosed with BPD and PTSD.
In 2019, he went to the Sierra Tucson Treatment Center in Arizona.
The comedian underwent treatment at another mental health facility in June 2023.
Most recently, he checked back into rehab at the end of July 2024.
A source revealed that Pete had left the facility after only a few weeks.
“Colin doesn’t want to be associated with Pete,” the source said.
The two met over 10 years ago when Pete joined the SNL cast, and the pair quickly bonded over their shared Staten Island roots.
The two are in business together, along with two other business partners, who purchased a decommissioned Staten Island ferry in 2022.
It’s unclear if their rift has impacted their business, but the ferry finally saw its first official use during New York Fashion Week when Tommy Hilfiger their show aboard it.
Pete was notably absent from the ferry’s first fete on September 8, while Colin was in attendance.
STILL HOPES FOR FERRY VENTURE
Despite the rift, a source close to the business venture insisted that the pals had simply drifted apart and that the vision for the ship has not sunk.
“They’re both very busy, and don’t talk as much as they used to,” they said.
While the rumors of a clash persisted, the insider said plans to convert the ferry into an entertainment venue remain afloat.
The insider noted that since all the partners were from New York, they were ultimately hoping to have the ferry stay in the city.
“Where it ends up all depends on what kind of deal they can get with the City of New York.”
That insider said they were in the process of raising funds for other projects but declined to elaborate further.
