In pursuit of their second win in the ongoing Regional Super50, the Guyana Harpy Eagles won the toss and chose to field the Jamaica Scorpions at the Queen’s Park Oval.
But only 41.3 overs were possible due to rain.
Half centuries from Jermaine Blackwood and John Campbell pushed the Scorpions to 162-6.
Blackwood was unbeaten on 63 (6x4s) from 93 balls, while skipper Campbell made 53 (4x4s;2x6s) from 65 balls.
Ashmead Nedd continued his impressive run with 2-23 from 10 overs while Keemo Paul (1-12), Kevlon Anderson (1-15), Tagenarine Chanderpaul (1-24) and Veerasamy Permaul (1-31) shared the wickets.
No result pushed the Harpy Eagles to 28 points and tentatively placed them in third place.
After five matches this season, the Harpy Eagles have one win, two losses and two draws.
They face Trinidad and Tobago Red Force in the next match on Saturday at 09:00 at the same venue.
