Shopper accuses Walmart of ‘dumpster diving’ for disgusting grocery delivery

A WALMART shopper claims they received damaged produce and products in a pick-up order that looked as if it came from the garbage.

A post on X showed a spoiled potato, half-eaten corn, and damaged margarita mix bottles.

“I assume my @Walmart pickup order was two hours late because they were dumpster diving for all my grocerie,” X user Hills (@hillshills) posted

The Walmart shopper claims he tried to get a refund and it was a failure.

“Lol @Walmart won’t refund me,” he continued.

Walmart’s Help account replied to the post and requested more details on the situation.

“More information will be helpful here. Please send a DM with all the details via the link below,’ Walmart said.

The post rattled up some other X users who thought the post was ridiculous.

“Dumpster margs mmmm,” one user replied.

“Walmart is a joke. I’d rather spend a few more dollars and go anywhere else,” another said.

“No f**king way,” someone wrote.

“Wtf lol hope you got your money back,” another chimed in.

“This is the exact reason we canceled Walmart+, the amount of time we got moldy fruits, rotting meat, and products outside of their expiration date was WILD,” someone said.

“NO WAY!!! omfg, this is next-level terrible,” another user wrote.

“Brooo, you got rugged hard,” someone said.

“Ordered from the haunted Walmart that closed in 1996,” another user joked.

Walmart’s pickup and delivery service is intended to create ease for customers who don’t want to shop in-store.

However, customers may end up with a product that doesn’t suit their needs if something is out of stock.

“You can take advantage of Walmart’s Everyday Low Prices and save time on your shopping with our pickup and delivery service,” Walmart said of the services.

“Simply place an order online, choose a timeslot, and an associate will gather your items and place them in bags.

“When your order is ready, we’ll send a Ready for Pickup email if you’ve chosen to pick up from your local store or your order can be delivered right to your door.”

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Walmart for comment.
