The show was hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, and judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and Head Judge, Shirley Ballas were all in attendance too.
And the celebrities who danced this Christmas Day for the special included Formula 3 driver Billy Monger and professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova, as well as former EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite and pro Nikita Kuzmin.
Harry Aikines-Aryeetey (AKA Nitro from Gladiators) were also dancing – partnered with Nancy Xu.
As well as Vogue Williams with Gorka Marquez and Josh Widdicombe paired with Karen Hauer.
But it was Tayce and Kai who stole the show.
Dancing a Cha-Cha to Kylie and Dannii Minogue’s 100 Degrees, the Christmas champions were quick to wow the judges and audience alike.
Tayce and Kai were awarded a perfect score for their performance with four 10s from the judges, before lifting the Strictly Christmas star-shaped trophy.
Tayce previously spoke about what it’s like to be the show’s first drag queen, and told The Sun: “It feels correct. Pushing boundaries, pushing the envelope.
“I’m here to make it clear. I’m going to go in, you know I think there’s going to be a lot of pressure on me for that’s well but I like pressure I think it makes you work harder.”
Welsh drag queen and presenter Tayce is also a successful model who walks in fashion shows across the globe.
The star had received backlash after the Strictly announcement, as some cruel fans accused Tayce of “taking a woman’s space” on the show.
Tayce responded: “People like to make a mountain of a molehill. It’s a show, it’s a TV show, enjoy it, live it, breathe it and have fun, you know. That’s what we’re here to do. Have fun.”
