STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have slammed BBC show judges for repeating the same “mistake.”
Their criticism came after Saturday’s live show saw the programme’s highest-ever scores in a Halloween episode in the series’ 20-year history.
BBC One show viewers say part of the process is ‘starting to lose its meaning’[/caption]
It came after the judges were quick to brandish 10 paddles to three different celebrities during Saturday’s live show[/caption]

Strictly Come Dancing fans now claim the 10-paddle was over-used during the spooky show – and are calling for a huge change.
EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, 30, who topped the leaderboard for the second week running, scored two 10’s for his American Smooth to The Addams Family Theme by Vic Mizzy.
Yet all the celebs in the top three, which also included Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and Love Island’s Tasha Ghouri, managed to scoop at least one flash of the 10 paddle.
This feat comes despite the fact the 2024 series is only at the half-way point.
Fans how think the BBC One judges are over-using the paddle and it has no meaning – so have suggested a tweak to the format.
One took to Reddit to argue: “We need an 11 Paddle, or a Golden 10.
“There’s been so many 10’s this series it’s starting to lose meaning! All the judges except Craig are forgetting what a 10 means: there is no room for improvement, everything was perfect.
“But they’re giving them out for less than perfect performances! When a genuinely outstanding dance comes along, it can’t be appreciated as much.
“So the solution…? We now need a higher score than 10! Give them a glittery golden 10, or an 11, or even a 100!”
Another then followed: “Motsi, Shirley, and Anton’s tens have a pretty dull effect now because they’ve been quite over used – but when Craig pulls out that 10 paddle… oh you definitely devoured that performance.”
A third put: “I was just about to come in here and say something. Craig’s 10 actually still means what a 10 is supposed to mean – your dance was perfect.”
One then posted: “Simple solution, only give 10s to these genuinely outstanding dances. Craig is the only judge that uses the full range of his paddles.”
Another surmised: “Instead of an 11 or golden 10, I’d put restrictions on the scoring, nothing above a 6 until week 5/6 then from there it can go up and no 10s until Blackpool.
“Make Blackpool even more of an event.”

During Saturday’s live show, fans were equally fuming as they accused one couple of being over-marked by the judges.
It came after Katya Jones and Wynne Evans performed a salsa in daring devil attire after their controversial “grope” scandal.
In total, the duo were awarded an impressive 31 points.
Craig Revel Horwood awarded them 7 points, while Motsi Mabuse, head judge Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke scored them an eight.
Meanwhile, loyal Strictly viewers were also quick to call out the judges over what they deemed an “unfair” decision in the dance off.
