SANDWICH supporters are in for a treat as Subway has announced its latest sensation but fans have described the ‘tactic’ as a ‘hard pass’.

The brand new offering from the American fast food giant has seen a collaboration with Doritos.
Having already been tested in Canada, the Doritos footlong nachos could allow foodies to nab the crisps layered with an assortment of toppings.
The latest menu addition seems to be set to offer meat, toppings and some additional sauces too.
Amongst the social media speculation, many users have been quick to express their views.
One person commented: “I think it’s a great idea!
“I’m not particularly a fan of Nachos, but members of my family are. It would be nice for them to have an alternative, besides a salad, when I want a sub and they don’t.
“Great idea.”
Another wrote: “Looks delicious I have to order that.”
Someone else said: “Good for subway. They’re utilizing their ‘foot long’ marketing tactic to expand their menu.”
Yet others did not seem as enthusiastic with one customer claiming the nachos would be a “hard pass” unless “it’s cheap“.
Another put: “Stick to serving sandwiches.”
While a third commented: “I thought subway was healthy food?”
The Instagram account, snackolator, was the first to reveal the rumoured menu listing.
They captioned the post: “Subway is getting wild with the footlong menu with Doritos Footlong Nachos!
“They are currently being tested in a number of stores around the country and feature Doritos on the bottom which is then topped with melted cheese triangles, meat, toppings, and some additional sauces.
“If you’re upset you can’t find them nearby, this should be a nationwide release in the spring! The toppings might change (or maybe you can just pick them out like you would with a sub) but this should be a fun footlong option.”
