A 51 year old Thai man died on a railway track in the central province of Ratchaburi after parking his bicycle and sitting on the track to record TikTok videos .

The fatal train accident was reported to Mueang Ratchaburi Police Station at about 8.15am today, December 18. It occurred on the Chulalongkorn Railway Bridge over the Mae Klong River in Ratchaburi province. The dead body of the 51 year old man, Wiroj, was found in the middle of the railway.

Wiroj’s arms and legs were severed, and he suffered a serious head injury that exposed his skull. He was reported to be an English language teacher and a TikToker who regularly shared cycling trips, product reviews, and lifestyle content on his social media accounts.

This morning, Wiroj visited the railway bridge to create videos for his TikTok account. He arrived at the location on his bicycle, which was later found damaged, around 200 meters away from his body.

Wiroj’s wife, 49 year old Wanwadee, told Naewna that they left home together in the morning and parked their car at the provincial gymnasium. They took their daughter to school before parting ways, with Wanwadee heading to her workplace while Wiroj embarked on his cycling trip.

Wanwadee said she heard from others about the fatal train accident but did not suspect that the deceased could be her husband until she received a call from the police.

Expressing her sorrow, Wanwadee described Wiroj as the perfect leader of their family and said she could not imagine how she and their daughter would cope without him. She spoke fondly of her husband, describing him as a friendly and well-loved person.

She added that Wiroj was passionate about creating online content for his Facebook and TikTok accounts, called Go anywhere with you, no petrol needed.

Police inspected Wiroj’s mobile phone and discovered that he arrived at the railway bridge at around 7.30am. He parked his bicycle in the middle of the track and set up his mobile phone to take photos and videos.

Officers suspect that Wiroj might not have heard the train’s horn and had his back turned towards the oncoming train, resulting in the collision. His body was dragged approximately 200 to 300 meters along the track.
