A Thai man pleaded for help after receiving death threats after seeking a divorce from his unfaithful bed-hopping wife, who cheated on him five times to his knowledge.

The non-profit organisation Saimai Survive assisted the desperate Thai man, identified only as 45 year old A, and held a press conference today, October 8, for him to share his story with the public. In addition to receiving death threats, A revealed that his wife had tracked him using a GPS, leaving him to live in constant fear.

A disclosed that he and his 35 year old wife lived together for more than ten years but they only signed a marriage certificate in 2021. He caught her cheating on him multiple times. The first affair occurred during the first few years of their relationship.

According to A, his wife had her first affair with a chief of police in northern Thailand. His wife claimed that she did not have a romantic relationship with the officer, adding she respected him like an adopted father.

A’s wife had a second lover in 2018 was also with a police officer. A discovered the third affair with another police officer in 2020. He found their online conversations in which they referred to each other as husband and wife and arranged to meet secretly in Hua Hin.

The fourth lover was a highway police officer whom A’s wife claimed to be just a friend. However, A discovered that they were communicating online and meeting each other in secret.

A said he could not catch her red-handed and decided to forgive her because he loved her. However, her unfaithful behaviour led him to closely monitor her actions until he discovered the fifth affair with a construction contractor who worked in their marital home.

Affair caught in bridal house

A recounted an unsettling discovery after secretly trailing his wife back to their home in the northern province of Phitsanulok. There, he found her and another man lying naked together in his bedroom.

Despite the compromising situation, his wife insisted that they hadn’t been intimate and were merely lying naked alongside each other. Her lover remained tight-lipped throughout the confrontation, offering neither an apology nor an explanation, and soon left the premises.

Adding to the betrayal, A revealed his wife had also broken into his residence in the central province of Samut Sakhon, making off with 300,000 baht in cash, 5 million baht worth of gold, and three valuable amulets. Remarkably, he chose to remain silent and allowed her to take the valuables without confrontation.

The situation escalated when A filed legal action against his wife, prompting her to issue a chilling death threat. She even utilised GPS technology to track his movements, further heightening his fears.

Concerned for his safety, A expressed his dread that his wife might resort to murder to claim his assets and start anew with one of her lovers. Firm in his resolve, A is seeking only a divorce and a secure future, adamant that he will not return to the relationship.

The founder of Saimai Survive, Ekkaphop Lueangprasert, promised to assist A in taking legal action against his wife. Moreover, he would coordinate with the Justice Ministry to protect A.
